terrible service. "i was here for dinner and ordered a vegetarian chimichanga, making it clear that im a strict vegetarian and do not want meat of any kind in my food. the dinner was brought in by a different waiter. when we were half way through dinner, guy #1 stops by at least 3 times to ask if everything was ok. the third time, i asked him if i was eating what i had asked for. he admitted they had confused orders and served me beef. he apparently didnt think of telling me this until i asked him and until i was half way through my meal. we left immediately after. a big thumbs down to this place for irresponsible and indifferent service."

this is from yet another girls’ night out i went to with another set of my girlfriends. we met at cactus in kirkland and had a good time there. it was crowded and there was long wait as it was a friday night, but we scored some seats at the bar and ordered drinks while we waited for our table. we had a few other things, but i remember the butternut squash enchiladas which are one of my favorite things to eat there and we also had the roasted potatoes tacos ( i don’t have a picture of that) which was pretty delicious too. the three milk cuban flan was so out of the world but the cowgirl brownie was very so-so. overall, we had a good time there!

food is good. nice crisp to the tacos. definitely worth the ride from cape town. it does take a whilw for preparation but it worth the wait. not fine dining but definitely better tha mcdonald's or kfc.

i enjoy this place.... there's a guy server there that is always on it & has a lot of personality even if busy. food never been disappointed and mojito"s are the eastside's best!

we were looking for a nice place with a vibe and had never been to cactus. well we wont go back! i had never really had attitude from a "waitress" before like we did last night, we moved to a table outside but then some guy just sits at our table and refuses to move, one of the "waitresses" decides to join him and lights a cigarette, leaving myself the damn customer, to go find a chair in order to sit at my own table!! clearly discriminating against us because we seemed like we were not from george.
the food wasn't bad but not worth the 2 hour wait!!

one of the best mexican fusion restaurants in seattle. the squash enchiladas are a must. there are many tasty items and the atmosphere is nice, especially on warm days when you can sit outside.

this food was so good. waitress was on point and never let our chips or drinks get even halfway empty. also got complimentary flan for being first-time customers. well worth the visit and so easy to walk to from our downtown hotel.

sage cocktail was light and refreshing. mexican corn had a great smokey flavor and the brisket burrito was enough for 3. follow it all up with a family secret recipe for the best flan imaginable. all so very good. thank you maria & courtney for making it seem like a special occasion!!

absolutely terrible experience, smokers everywhere and definitely not kid friendly. food was utterly mediocre and bland. definitely would not recommend.

my favorite spot in kirkland. always a great vibe here even though it's often hard to get a spot at the bar during happy hour ( their chips and salsa are on fleek). as a vegetarian i am definitely spoilt for choice here but my favorite are the mushroom chipotle quesadilla and the chile relleno. wash it all down with their brilliant margaritas, and all is well with the world.

a frequent wateringhole of many a local cactus is known for it's friendly staff and great service. but not only do they excel in their drinks game, their food is absolutely fantastic and they have a very diverse menu; from steak to nachos and pizza.

you don't go through george and not stop at the cactus. i love their chilli poppers, especially the chicken and mayo ones. the pizza has always been my favorite. oven baked goodness. also, if you want to have an epic tequila fueled party. you will love the cactus.

i am giving 4.5 stars because we went from a zero star experience to a 5 star experience. we had a unfortunate first try with the bartender snapping at us. we went to leave and i decided i should mention it. my friend was literally out the door and fuming, and rightfully so. the manager, cooper, was very kind and welcoming, calming my upset friend by offering us free drinks and appetizers. he did a great job turning around a very negative experience into a pleasant one, going as far as cleaning a table for us, sitting us immediately, comping as promised, and checking in on us. great job, cooper. we'll be back!

unfortunately i didn't enjoy this restaurant at all. the decor was very out of date and the space felt very dirty. service wasn't great and everything we ordered was below average.

i was quite disappointed after hearing such good things. the decor and set up leads me to believe that there is a lot of potential but maybe we're just spoilt in jhb with there being so much competition. the frozen margaritas were very average but i think the salt fell into mine so i really didn't enjoy it. we ordered chilli poppers for a starter, i was intrigued with the various filling options opting away from the traditional cream cheese filling and what seemed to be plain yogurt as a dipping sauce rather than sour cream, i did like the puffiness and crunch of the popper tho. we had their fajitas as a main which was flavourful, their wraps just broke apart a bit too easily. most disappointing was their nachos, it looked (and tasted) like doritos were spread on a plate and sprinkled with cheese and popped in a microwave. once the top layer was eaten it was just a plate of doritos.
