addicting mohito's! not sure how they do it but these things go down scary quick! make sure you have a dd or you can walk home! enjoy!!!

i don't know what the big rave is about this place. the food wasn't even what i consider "mexican." it's pretentious. i hate the taste of cilantro (it's like soap), and cilantro is in everything; it's all one can taste in the dish.
avoid cactus if you don't like cilantro.

mexican fusion - it's about time!. fantastic commingling of flavors and textures. it's what fusion cuisine is all about. come, order anything, it's all superb. but while you're figuring it out, order some quesadillas, they are my favorite.

what's the fuss about?. we recently dined here with friends and i can't for the life of me figure out why it's so popular. the food was bland and my chicken fajitas were burned. the side dishes try too hard to be trendy and fail on the taste and appeal factors. for the price of dining here, i was expecting to be wowed and i was really disappointed with the quality, taste and experience. service was ok, but not great. i won't be returning anytime soon.

best restaurant ever!!!. i love this place!!!! it's like cheers, my little home away from home! the staff is the best anywhere in the seattle area, and the food is absoultely to die for! try the chimayo enchilada, amazing!!!! i moved to kirkland last year just so i could be within walking distance to cactus, yes it's that good!!!

butternut squash enchilada. our team lunch was at cactus in kirkland. i'm not a vegetarian, so surprised even myself by ordering the butternut squash enchilada (it came very highly recommended by our waiter). i had a hankering for the the dungeness crab & chorizo cakes lunch item but switched at the last minute. the butternut squash enchilada was quite good, but is something i think my wife would prefer. next time (yes, there's likely one in the future because i'd like to take my wife) i'll try the navajo torta (which someone else in my party ordered--huge) or my original dungness crab order.
