many moons ago, while working in the new west area, i recall co-workers routinely talking about burger heaven.  back then, the stories were invariably the same…

delicious giant burgers!! saying $15 for a burger is ridiculous is ridiculous... any place that you go have a burger they cost roughly the same amount. vera's is the same if not more expensive. and do they give you bottomless fries? nope. this place does. ;) i'd much rather spend $15-18 for an amazing fresh never frozen patty than go to an earls, sjp, cactus or any of those other places any day of the week.
oh and order the chocolate peanut butter shake.. you'll be addicted.

love the place, but oh my god too big. i love this place but everything is just too big. i am far from a dainty eater and i find the burger portion way too big. would appreciate less for the same price.

burger heaven is nothing special, not the best or worst and i just had higher expectations, like a juicy burger kind of thing...

why is that guy yelling?. ido really love this place we are just on bad terms at the moment.

i am a regular at burger heaven. i was in for lunch about 2 weeks ago now. i enter the restaurant and see that they are quite busy. i am seated at a table for two close to where the service staff pick up the meals that are ready. now out of the blue from in the kitchen i hear a man yelling at the top of his lungs.. not a nice kind of yelling, and it goes on and on. i place my order and as i am i hear him yell again - this time someone speaks back but not yelling back. i now realize he is yelling at a kitchen member. i find this to be not only demeaning to his employee but also disrespectful to the patron"s in the restaurant and also the restaurant itself. he should be ashamed. i have not been back.

we finally tried it... we finally made it down the road to new west to try burger heaven. we sat on the patio. the server was very nice and polite and gave us great service.
i decided to start by trying a chicken burger with teriyaki sauce. i added onion rings instead of fries. i enjoyed it, the chicken was a good size and juicy. for me however there was a bit too much sauce a bit overwhelming. rainbowcrab had the bacon cheese burger with fries. the burger was huge and there were a lot of wedge fries. she said the burger was ok,, she gave it 6.5 out of 10 based on burger- judging -meter. we would go back, but not as good as we had hoped.

yumm. yumm. yummmmm!!!. hubby and i were out for a day in the city, and he had heard about burger heaven from a guy he used to work with, so we gave it a shot.

just before 1pm on a wednesday, and the tiny little restaurant wasn’t full. we were greeted and seated immediately and left with our menus. my only comment at first glance at the menu was that these better be some dam* good burgers for the price!

i ordered the chicken teriyaki mushroom swiss, and hubby ordered the beef motz mushroom. i also had the poutine “add on” to my potato wedges...still unsure about paying so much for burgers.

well, let me tell you! the bowl of poutine was humungous with lots of melty cheese curds. the grilled chicken breast was good sized, two big pieces of bacon, and lots of cheese, and the teriyaki sauce was light enough not to overwhelm, but add just enough zip to the sandwich.

on hubby’s plate, the burger/mushroom/cheese looked amazing, and the potato wedges filled the rest of the plate. the wedges were seasoned really well and fried crisp. perfect!

i took half my poutine home for the kiddo because i was stuffed, and very satisfied. by the time i paid the bill, i had no problem forking over $15 for a grilled chicken and poutine. not at all. we will return!!!!

highly, highly recommend this place. it's a must try. everything is fresh made from scratch, staff are super friendly. high quality paties and ingredients. they have the best poutine it is a must try. love that they use fresh potato wedges instead of classice shoestring fries. price range around the $15 but it is so worth it. don't miss out on this gem.

always come here for my birthday. i love this place. none of the other "last burger stands" hold a candle to burger heaven. i normally go for the buffalo burger, but today i tried the elk. fantastic and the potato wedges are to die for.

after a day of snowboarding at cypress mountain, we were looking forward to having a late lunch at burger heaven in new westminster.  at 2pm on a saturday the small burger restaurant was packed to our surprise.  we needed to wait 20 minutes for a table for 3, so we decided to get take out instead. i ordered a  the works burger, which had cheddar, mozzarella, bacon & mushrooms and dill pickles. this was a really big burger, and i loved it from the first bite to the last. the patty was really juicy. everything worked for me from the saltiness of the bacon, and the sourness of the pickle. if you are craving for a real burger, this burger will take care of you. to my surprise, my friends didn’t enjoy theirs burgers as much as i did with mine. they had the bbq cheddar, bacon & mushroom burger and the heaven sent grilled chicken burger . both said they were good, but nothing special. the burgers ranges around $12-$15, you can order the burgers with salad or th

come hungry come often. these guys do burgers right which means they don't do too much. a good size portion of ground beef, minimally handled, just enough seasoning and a nice crust from the flattop. i normally order mine with blue cheese and fried mushrooms (holy umami batman!) but another favourite in the breakfast burger. i mean, who doesn't love a fried egg on their bacon cheeseburger? love the kitschy atmosphere with the tables laminated with photos. it's like a '70s rec room in there. their famous wedges...not sure why. salads are green and desserts are an after thought but go for the burgers. they really very good. exotic meats are ok but i always find them too lean to make a good burger.
