bellevue - the oberoi amarvilas

the view is out of this world. i guess you drop in only for the view. thefoodis good not the best in india but good yet a bit overpriced. the staff are nice and helpful. dont forget to get drinks at the bar with a marvellous view

we came here for late lunch. thefoodwas really bad. more than that, the service was terrible. each dish would come in 30-50 minutes. not recommended.

bellevue is the hotel’s all-day restaurant, serving both indian and international cuisine.
bellevue restaurant is uniquely decorated with bevelled dazzling glass panels that divides table and long sofa seating. one of the best things about this place is that it has the view of the picturesque garden and terraces.
bellevue restaurant offers diversefoodmenu with a lot of scrumptious options to choose from.
the delectable menu with interactive modern platting is for sure to catch one's eye, all thanks to chef for giving a lot of thoughts to it.

india is renowned in the world for its hospitality, but the oberoi amarvilas even goes beyond and delivers phenomenal service.

extra ordinary is the word.
firstly i am pleased to see such hospitality and ambience of the hotel which was beyond amazing. water fountains at the entrance added grace.
the ambience of the restaurant though was ordinary.foodwas amazing and so was hospitality. we had good north indian snacks and food.

food:8/10
ambience: 6/10
hospitality: 9/10

they specially arranged a cake for birthday.

my dining experience at bellevue has a story to it. so my maid of honor and i left from delhi on the pretext of spending the day together for my bachelorette. she set up the whole thing and we ended up in amarvilas, agra ! we were welcomed in a lovely way at bellevue and i received a bouquet of flowers with a congratulatory note for getting married soon! we  ordered ourfoodand whilst we waited our server was kind enough to serve us some chaat appetizers on the house. we ordered a pasta dish and a risotto. both were really authentic and good. i must mention that our asparagus risotto was simply amazing. we requested the chef to prepare this as per our requirement and they were very accommodative to make our dining experience lovely!. 
since it was a bachelorette celebration, the restaurant arranged for a chocolate cake for us with a sweet message.


also to add, overlooking the taj mahal whilst sitting in an uber luxurious setup makes this dining experience a special one and one of a kind ! it gives you a royal feel that a palace has to offer!

walking in.. appreciate the beauty of the place. decorations are fab.foodis extra ordinarily great. quality is amazing. their dresses..which make you feel like king. their cutlery which gives you a royal feeling. service..which is simply the best. food..not even a single thing that you eat you won't like. the place gives you a larger than life feel.

i have visited there 12 days before good ambience goodfoodand excellant service. its was too expensive for a common man but if you are foodie at least try a ounce.

one of the finest restaurant in the country ,thefoodis amazing in presentation, taste, richness and serving is pretty great too. the chef really knows how to play with spices well, coz it’s a treat in every bite. the place has a grandiose feel with its wooden rustic decor, prompt and courteous service of the staff. the oberoi group never fails to amaze me and they fulfilled my expectations this time too.

a multi cuisine luxury restaurant with deliciousfoodand amazing service. the place without any doubt  will surprise any one who will visit it for the first time. not only by its look and ambiance but also by the deliciousfoodand service they provide.

recently got an opportunity to dine in the most expensive restaurant in agra, bellevue in the oberoi amarvilas. much more pleased with the service and ambience than the food. i have had better tastingfoodat places quite cheaper. all in all, it was a good experience, albeit the taste. i had ordered a grilled newzealand lamb rack, roast chilcan sea bass and chicekn and wild mushroom lasagne, all of which tasted pretty average. for desserts, i tried their tiramisu. it was served in a large martini glass, and tasted amazing. one of the best desserts i have ever had. would strongly recommend it to tiramisu lovers. you can give a slip to their appetizers and main-course though

had an amazing lunch on my way to taj at this royal property. everything in the menu along with the extra condiments were presented and served excellently. couple of things to be considered and taken care of would be:
- checking for allergies
- asking if we want the whole list of orderedfooditems together or snacks first and then main items
- explaining the condiments rather than putting them on the table and leaving them for us to discover.
these are just few of the action points, otherwise the restaraunt is amazing and so was the staff, extremely hospitable and helpful.

the oberoi amarvilas is by far the most luxurious place to stay in agra and its strategic location with unobstructed view of the taj mahal makes it all the more desirable. 

location & ambience – bellevue is a multi-cuisine restaurant located down the lobby near the poolside. while the restaurant feels like any other high-end restaurant, it’s poolside and view of the taj is mesmerizing.

food & service – vegetarians might not find the menu elaborate enough, thefoodand service was as expected. nothing great nor any complaints.

value for money – it is not the place to be forfoodbut for the experience and if you are in agra already, you could try it once.

splendid lunch at the beautifully appointed amarvillas, not even accounting for the taj view.

after bursting our tummies on the peshawri dinner and breakfast buffet at itc, we came into bellevue with limited expectations.

thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there. thefoodwe both beautiful and tasty.
