bellevue - the oberoi amarvilas

one of the worst oberoi’s i have been to! hardly had 10 things on the lunch menu.. i had asked for a tomato base risotto but they chose to give me a white base one. nothing great about this one place compared to the other amazing properties of oberoi’s. not going back ever and not advising anyone to ever go to..

best place to find inner peace. needs no improvement. had a cup of coffee and couple of cookies they were good but most importantly the location and the view were breathtaking.

i went here a few days back and i must say the 6 course meal was mind blowing. from the taste to the presentation of the dishes everything was up to the mark. the hotel is a treat to the eye and the staff here is so kind and knowledgable. it was a great experience

the view is out of this world. i guess you drop in only for the view. the food is good not the best in india but good yet a bit overpriced. the staff are nice and helpful. dont forget to get drinks at the bar with a marvellous view

we came here for late lunch. the food was really bad. more than that, the service was terrible. each dish would come in 30-50 minutes. not recommended.

bellevue is the hotel’s all-day restaurant, serving both indian and international cuisine.
bellevue restaurant is uniquely decorated with bevelled dazzling glass panels that divides table and long sofa seating. one of the best things about this place is that it has the view of the picturesque garden and terraces.
bellevue restaurant offers diverse food menu with a lot of scrumptious options to choose from.
the delectable menu with interactive modern platting is for sure to catch one's eye, all thanks to chef for giving a lot of thoughts to it.

india is renowned in the world for its hospitality, but the oberoi amarvilas even goes beyond and delivers phenomenal service.

excellent is not the word to describe this restaurant. being oberoi hotel restaurant, the service, hygiene, decor is impeccable.
coming to food, the quality of each item is superb. while staying at the hotel, we had several meals here and cannot find a fault with any thing.
my wife casually happened to mention to the chef that she would like to have some thing gujarati. we forgot about it but chef saurabh went out of the way to fulfill the same and next day informed us and served the full gujarati meal including dal dhokli, thepla, gujarati kadi, khichdi and each item was the comparable with the best that i ever had. he even enlisted help of a gujarati lady from other department ms sheel for preparation and it was so good that we told her that she ought to be a chef herself.

extra ordinary is the word.
firstly i am pleased to see such hospitality and ambience of the hotel which was beyond amazing. water fountains at the entrance added grace.
the ambience of the restaurant though was ordinary. food was amazing and so was hospitality. we had good north indian snacks and food.

food:8/10
ambience: 6/10
hospitality: 9/10

they specially arranged a cake for birthday.

amarvilas, having rich heritage as a 5 star hotel, is one of the best properties in agra. you dine with a view of the taj mahal. lovely decor and ambience. the staff could be a bit more courteous i felt. we went for desserts after lunch to this spectacular property.
tiramisu- this was the best tiramisu i have had till date! creamy, sweet and the mascapone was amazing. if you love coffee flavour this is your pick.
chocolate fondant- warm dark chocolate fondant served with espresso ice cream, salted caramel and nut crumble. if you love bitter chocolate then you would like this dessert!

my dining experience at bellevue has a story to it. so my maid of honor and i left from delhi on the pretext of spending the day together for my bachelorette. she set up the whole thing and we ended up in amarvilas, agra ! we were welcomed in a lovely way at bellevue and i received a bouquet of flowers with a congratulatory note for getting married soon! we  ordered our food and whilst we waited our server was kind enough to serve us some chaat appetizers on the house. we ordered a pasta dish and a risotto. both were really authentic and good. i must mention that our asparagus risotto was simply amazing. we requested the chef to prepare this as per our requirement and they were very accommodative to make our dining experience lovely!. 
since it was a bachelorette celebration, the restaurant arranged for a chocolate cake for us with a sweet message.


also to add, overlooking the taj mahal whilst sitting in an uber luxurious setup makes this dining experience a special one and one of a kind ! it gives you a royal feel that a palace has to offer!

walking in.. appreciate the beauty of the place. decorations are fab. food is extra ordinarily great. quality is amazing. their dresses..which make you feel like king. their cutlery which gives you a royal feeling. service..which is simply the best. food..not even a single thing that you eat you won't like. the place gives you a larger than life feel.

having spent an great tym .i literally come out with the smile fr such an wonderful experience..

i have visited there 12 days before good ambience good food and excellant service. its was too expensive for a common man but if you are foodie at least try a ounce.
