ambrosia restaurant

the food was horrible. the chicken was uncooked and the waiter refused to cancel it. very unfriendlystaffand preference given to online orders!

had the worst restaurant experience ever in ajmer at ambrosia. it was my first time in 4-5 years visiting it. we booked a table a day prior and even paid in advance for birthday decoration. the decoration turned out satisfactory but out in the restaurant thestaffdidn’t even serve us basic things like water, spoons, glasses, tissues. everything we had to ask 4-5 times that too by going all the way to thestaffarea as there was nostaffaround to even ask for anything if we needed. after 1.5 hours we got out starters served and even when we asked for spoons they gave us insufficient spoons of different different shapes which even included serving spoons(to eat)
even after addressing the issues to the manager many times it just felt like he didn’t bother or he had too much on his plate to care about us.
right after finishing the starters we left the place because till then also they didn’t come to take the main course order.
don’t recommend at all.

absolutely marvellous food.. very courteousstaffspecifically mr narayan. kaju pista badam gravy was amazing, birds nest in starters was a very novel concept.. awsome experience.. keep it up... thank you ambrosia...

the restaurant is situated at the rooftop of ambassador hotel. walking distance from anasagar and has a lovely ambience. the seating arrangement is quite cozy and relaxed. the food is decent but but the portions size could be increased . the laal maans is a must have here but i personally found mango masala's laal maas a little better but this is great too. also tried their palak patta chaat which comprised of a crispy leaf of palak dipped in besan fried and topped with onion tomato sev and masalas and chutneys. also tried their reshmi palak which is quite similar to palak paneer but has gatte instead. thestaffis polite and respectful. the ambience is really enjoyable with ample amount of walking space, dim lights, mellow music in the backdrop, and glittering sky. its beautiful and really makes you want to comeback for more. i personally liked the place and would like to not only comeback but also recommend it to others. cheers (:

amazing place to visit near ana sagar lake ...... but since i visited in afternoon i couldn’t use the outdoor sitting due to heat ...... it would just be amazing to visit in evening.
also the food was pretty good ...... along with courteousstaffand polite manager.

would love to visit again whenever i’m back in rajasthan!!!

visited there on my ajmer trip for dinner after checking out reviews for this place. this is a rooftop place with indoor sitting as well. rooftop area is decorated in a beautiful way, it can be a place for date. the food was delicious and thestaffwas courteous enough to explain about the dishes and modify as per our taste. i would give this 4.5 and deduct 0.5 as the ac was not working properly and it was quite hot on that day.

this is one of the best rooftop in ajmer. beautiful ambiance with great food at pocket friendly price. service andstaffis friendly and polite. must visit for family dinners. there separate huts with balloon decoration are good for small parties.

i would give this a negative if i could. firstly thestaffwas too rude and arrogant. negative marks for the hospitality. definitely the first and the last time we went there. will make sure nobody from someone i know goes there.
