theservicewas great , the food was perfectly served , great ambience, however the food was ok nothing to add nothing to hide. definately a positive experience

this place may be in burj al arab, but you would perhaps get betterservicein a karama cafeteria. i visited with family for iftar, place was too busy, staff weren’t around to help. food was alright, live music was average and requests to the staff often went on deaf ears. all and all, not worth the venue not the price. speaking of the price, we were billed incorrectly and still awaiting our refunds.

we dined at this place like 4 times :) the buffet choices are very limited and the quality of the good is not that great! they could work on improving the taste of the dishes. theserviceis great and they make you feel comfortable:)

being at burj al arab is a luxerious experience all in all. however, the ambience and food variety is something that can't compete anymore with the new places that keep popping up in dubai. food taste is very good.

we went for dinner buffet. it was our second time at the iconic burj al arab and first time in this restaurant.
luxury interiors. love the deep red color. lovely ambience.
arabic buffet. no live cooking station. food was ok but nothing memorable.
you can use entertainer voucher otherwise the price is too high.

my husband took me here for surprise birthday dinner, i was so aww struck, when we were in front of burj al arab and was soo excited to go in and have dinner from here.
interiors are too good. table was set up so nice, the colors on the table, rose and the candles,perfect for a date.

coming to the food part.. it was a wide spread arabic buffet.. not that great, it was just okay for the price. they had all kinds of arabic sweets which was good.
overall very good experience, would recommend everyone for the ambience and the experience.

the cost was reasonable as we used entertainer coupon 1+1 free, so we paid only for one person.

disappointing...the choice of food in the buffet is limited and there is no live cooking station. food is dry and really worse than average. we expected theservicewill be at least up to 7 star hotel standard but it turned out not even 5 star: the waiter forgot to offer drinks to one of our guest and there was nobody serving at the hot food session. the price clearly hasn't been reflected in the quality of food and service, simply overpriced. we don't recommend it to anyone.

i celebrated my anniversary there . i wish i can give them 100 stars not only 5.serviceis amazing. the chef walked around with me describing each dish and it's content because i have food allergy. moreover, when i was whispering to my husband that "i wish they had steak and crème brûlée" , they surprised me by making one specially for me with out me asking and did not even bill me for it. i have seen people writing review saying the food spread was not that much, personally the food spread was good and i rather have quality food that tastes amazing rather than quantity and that is what i got there. overall it's outstanding in everything and i would totally recommend it.

overall a great place to enjoy some special occasions with family and friends if you don't mind stretching your purse strings once in a while. a once in a lifetime experience for eating in a 7 star restaurant in the famed burj al arab

went here for an iftar on june 10th. nothing so fancy for a 7star hotel. food was very average or even below. the spread was very less. a normal restaurant might have a larger spread for iftar. choice of desserts displayed was no where close to a 7 star experience and so was the food spread. it was really so small that it would end before it started. the only good thing was theservicebut apart from that everything was really below average. didnt enjoy the experience as i went with lot of expectations !

the ambiance is nice andserviceis good but food is really below average and doesn't justify the price. also the live cooking stations were missing the staff to actually serve you. but in general i agree with most of the reviews that the food is really not 7star standard and you can get much better arabic cuisine in dubai.

i went there yesterday for a dinner with my fiance to celebrate her birthday .. i called and booked a table and i request for something spacial to celebrate, they said they can give a complementary cake but with out candle  .. anyway when we went there theservicewas very nice and the stuff was very friendly .. the buffet was very testy also and at the end they serve us the bday cake and they put the candle + they came like 3 to 4 to sing for her happy bday and they gave her a flower as a souvenir .

a very disappointing experience.

i gave1.5 as some of the food tasted ok else i would have tried to rate as zero.

1- welcoming: very nice with a small shot of egyptian drink (karcadeh).

2- decoration: luscious look even though a bit outdated

3- service: asked for the bread 3 times until we got it. no live cooking station which is usually available in any buffet. i had to cut my shawerma as there was no one there to serve it, same for the roast beef.

the worst is that most of the plates were empty and no one bothered to fill. basicallyservicewas below average.

4- variety of food: below average compared to other restaurantsin uae. the funny thing was when the nice welcoming staff was showing us the buffet, and she said "on the right hand is the sea food" ..... what sea food? smoked salmon? and baby crabs with no meat displayed in a very lousy way? or the tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce and labneh?? the salmon was 100% that package that they sell in supermarkets for 22 dirham which comes buy one get one free... very lousy quality.

5- food quality: some was ok, some was below average and others were good. nothing was outstanding

6- food display: will be very frank and say that my maid can display food in a better way!!!

7- value for money: not worth it at all. this should not cost more than aed100.

beautiful restaurant nicely designed and decorated. i loved the ambiance. it's warm and relaxing. everything is perfectly set up. we felt welcomed all time. food was great. staff were professional.servicewas excellent. a bit overpriced.

burj al arab known for luxury and class being a 7 star hotel houses many restaurants out of which is this arabic , al iwan .
extremely luxurious interiors, comfortable seating which also has a view facing the sea. a very calm and tranquil place.
hospitality went above my expectations. each and every staff were polite , courteous , pleasant and had an eye to detail. we had small kids so their baby sear were laid down very beautifully with the table preset for them. this was very impressive. also, services like one being approached to hang their handbags on the edge of the tables were little element of surprise. they went extra mile to arrange snacks for the kids as per their choice. the food was explained to us (depicts their product knowledge). basically i found not a monotonousservicebut humans offering hospitality humbly .
the buffet was very presentable , clean and hygienic. 1 chef was constantly near the buffet to help us with the dishes and recommendations.
the food i found wasn't any extra ordinary . have tasted the same at many places. less options for vegetarians , especially main course.
if you choose to visit this place , surely come for theservicewhere they will make you feel like a king and of course the ambience and venue.
a very well done job to this team. certainly under pressure being located inside burj al arab to keep the fame, but still won my heart. hope the food which we pay so much for improves.
