food: i thought that the food was a bit better than average. the night started off really well with the entre's however the mains and dessert were just ok, don't get me wrong, they were still yummy and we could definitely finish them but they could've been better. we had the restaurant month deal, which came with a lot of food for just $55 per person. really enjoyed the tuna and kingfish for the starters or raw/cold cuts, they were delish! the dumplings and buns were ok, i have had better at yum char places. the roti roll and egg foo yung sounded nice and it was but we were expecting more. for dessert we had the donuts and sundae. the donuts were okay, a bit too hard and chewy on the outside and not enough custard in the middle but the inside was nice and fluffy. the sundae was wonderful, perfect way to finish a meal. overall, i think the food was yummy but there was just something missing, there was no wow factor in any of the dishes.
service & ambience: they were both on point. lovely ambience, not too loud and too dark.
i would consider coming back here and trying out the other dishes. one of the reasons we got the restaurant month deal was because there was just way too many things to choose from, i guess that was another downside to the menu.
