two thumbs up for the following:
1. xiao long bao - soup inside the baos was perfectly flavoured
2. korean kung pao - i loved its dressing! the spicy fried chicken was a great appetizer for the main course.
3. tom yum - although it was a minimalist dish with only 4 pieces of prawn, it was cooked to perfection! the sweet, sour and spicy blend was divine!

slight dismay on the following
1. wagyu beef siumai - it tasted like it was prepared a few days ago, as the beef tasted old and rancid.
2. beef shin red curry - had too much coriander in it (sorry not a fan of coriander). beef was tender, though.

$81 for two. not bad for the quality,serviceand location.

theservicewas amazing, the view was amazing and the food was great. i would come here again to try the rest of the menu but it’s a great place to be during summer and you get a view of the ocean

love this place! i’ve never had dumplings as good as theirs! the restaurant is beautiful and theserviceis amazing definitely need to come back and try something else!

i loved the dim sums both the prawn and the chicken. the prawn is as good as hakkasan london .
the soft shell crab was outstanding . had a list of things to order but real soon.

both the manager and the lady who served us were attentive and personable

i had lunch/ euro-chinese fusion yum char here in early april around 2pm and it was sadly disappointing.

firstly, theservicewas good and the decor was beautiful and i really did like the ambience of the place.

however the food ( specifically the lunch) just was not great - some were good and one in particular so bad..

the papaya salad was good, i always seem to love them and would recommend this to anyone.
the green curry was a waste of money. there was probably 5 bits of chicken and the rest was the curry - it was 30 odd dollars for it so we were expecting a decent sized curry.

the pork belly buns had a sliver of pork belly which wasn't flavourful enough with the bread. the bread was good though at least

the xiao long bao.... they were so bad.. and i'm not saying that rashly.. firstly they looked extremely flat and then when you go to get one it instantly broke and the soup went everywhere! i liked the flavour but if you're going to call it a xiao long bao you cannot have the skin breaking before you even get it in your bowl/ on your plate.
the shrimp coriander har gows i.e. rice skin dumplings were good even though i hate coriander.

i would want to come to try dinner but would not bother to have their lunch menu again. it is overpriced and the not-so xiao long baos and the pricey curry didn't leave me with such a great food experience

again theserviceis good, definitely nothing wrong with that but until i revisit and get a better food experience i can't really give it higher than a 2.5.

1st time here. environment was nice and comfy.servicewas slow as it was packed. staff were very friendly and very helpful. food was very tasty especially the pad thai with prawns, had strong flavour . would recommend the crispy fried chicken and the range of bao.

one of the best places i have been , i went to white wongs on friday lunch with my mate just wanted to try something different so decided for this place and what i came across was to amazingserviceand way too amazing food , we were greeted by a waitstaff and we decided to sit outside, the waiter informed us about what excatly white wong is and what kind of food is being saved here that gave me a good impression about the place and i saw the menu and i ordered for kung pao chicken, chicken and wagu dumplings and shrimp and pork fried rice and my mate had ordered for soft shell crab to be honest that was the best pan asian food i've tasted so far and that chicken was so delicious correct sauce consistency and beautifully seasoned chicken was perfectly cooked and so was the fried rice dumplings were not too hot inside neither cold that's how it should be and goodserviceon good food just went together beautifully. i was too full so dint get chance to have dessert and as u can see from the pics was too busy hogging that lovely meal .would highly recommend this place to anyone and would definatey go back

took my mother here for mother's day 2021 and due to the fact that there are cones at every turn in the cbd we ran about 30 mins late.on arrival we were told in a not so friendly tone that we only had the table until 3pm. the food really was excellent. theservicecould have been better. and considering the location, i how upscale the restaurant was and the fact that we spent a substantial amount there it was disappointing that they didn't do anything for people celebrating mother's day.

yum! was a friday night so pumping and lines to eat and pay but great fastserviceso nothing was a worry. spicy chicken and duck pancakes so good and plentiful too much for one sitting so they packed it all up in cute little boxes for lunch the next day!

the fried chicken was amazing, oysters were so fresh and theservicewas excellent! my glass of water was always filled :) also cocktails were delicious 🍹

not impressed with the food (inauthentic) or theservice(inattentive). had to ask for water several times and had to send a drink back due to a hair being in the glass. do not understand the hype behind this place.

found theservicevery lacking our visit. food orders not taken on time and delays in food arriving. also very annoyed that we order a creme brûlée but it was sent out late. and by then we were ready to leave. i’ve been here a few times and have always left disappointed by the service. i think the food is amazing but just not worth the terrible service!

the first fusion place my asian parents have not been angry at for completely butchering east asian cuisine. theservicewas slow and a bit impatient but the food was a good mix of surprising twists on some classics. don’t mind it at all

love this place and we keep coming back! attentive and friendly staff,yummy food and big portion! and theirserviceis top notch! great job team white + wong's!
