vista - the park

sunday breakfast at the park is bliss! amazing view andgoodspread of breakfast! loved the south indian preparations.. chutneys were amazing. live counters served dosa, omelette, paranthas.. they had honey with cloves, cinnamon which was something different. overall the ambiance will make you fall in love with the place!

this is a general review for all the numerous visits to this place.

the buffet spread is prettygoodspecially with the cold cuts , cheese and salads. they never disappoint.

the food taste has gone down recently maybe due to staff issues and there is no consistency while ordering al la carte.

hope things will get better again.

vista, very conveniently located fine-dining restaurant near rk beach.
its is the only air-conditioned restaurant in the park & has both ala-carte' and buffet options.

i went with my family on my anniversary and opted for buffet(1050 per pax) on pool facing table .
they didn't charge me for 01 child, which i felt is a great favor.

considering the price, the spread was 8/10. 
ambience was nice. desserts have some great options. 
staff is very attentive & co-operating.
food taste was good. overall agoodexperience.

when seen from outside this restaurant looks like an aristocratic traditional house and when you enter you will be amazed by the cozy ambience, warm hospitality and beautiful glass beach view.

this place serves both ala carte and buffet.but i have been mostly for late night dinner and have figured out menu is limited in late night.

have tried veg fried rice, parathas, chicken curry, chicken grilled sandwich, kheema curry, chicken biryani and everytime everything has been perfectly cooked with optimum quality and well presented.

only disappointment is wait time, but as they saygoodfood takes time to be prepared 😊

the ambience isgoodand warm.
overall its a great experience i would like to thank the staff for thier warm behaviour and helping service.

lovely experience. beautiful place. yumm food. must try the mix sauce pasta (not on the menu) and nasi goreng(my all time fav) the ambience is nice too. i went back home with my camera with loaded memories. the staffs are toogoodbut i believe they should increase the number of staffs as there is a delay in service. overall great place for lunch or dinner

i went to this place for dinner buffet with family on a weekday. lucky we reached there by 8pm, by 9pm all tables are occupied. main course and desserts are very nice. very few appetisers​ in buffet, little disappointment, but no complaints as the reasonable price justifies it.

service is prompt, improved a lot compared to my previous visits.goodjob by manager mr. anil sahu.

if something has changed @ vista in the park hotel property in visakhapatnam is its people and service quality.

6 years back when i stepped into this promising and unique poperty of park , the major attraction was vista and its people. food and gastronomy was mostly guided by these fine ladies and gentlemen of park. in those days coastal cusine was served with an efficacy beyond comparison.

over the last two years the first thing that really faded off from vista was its great people and chefs who made it a great experience for so many of us.

on sunday night as my wife bidisha and myself sat across a table in vista and ordered a set of oriental cuisine , the first thing that struck us that none was there to smile and suggest what is gr8@ vista. i said to wife ,"did you notice this?" she looked at me in utter disbelief !

we ordered a spinach & burnt garlic fried rice and schezuan fish. there was also an order for
cantonese style asian green vegetable .

the fried rice was cooked with precision and tastedgoodthough the oil content was high compared to any acceptable authentic oriental dish. what came as a real surprise was the schezuan fish which actually was cooked in andhra style and by no means was schezuan. we instantly brought the same to the attention of the chef who applogised and wanted to get us something else.

the next monday morning breakfast menu was ordinary and it seems there is nothing much to mention into it.

my spouse and i for long long years into travel and exploring have always believed that gastronomy is all about touching the heart.

i request the park visakhapatnam management to please bring back the old talents and try and improve on the epicurean delight which park has been historically known for.

ambience n staff is good. service is too slow. we ordered a starter, kadahi paneer n butter naan. the waiter directly brought main course, we told we had ordered a starter then they told that it got over cooked so they didn't bring. how surprising was that. we then compromised n changed the order n ordered lasagne instead. we finished our kadahi paneer n naan but even after that it took them around 45 minutes to bring in lasagne. but onlygoodthing about the day was they accepted their mistake n didn't charge us for lasagne.

located in the park , vizag . food is toogoodwith lots and lots of choice of indian , continental , thai cuisines . i like the restaurant layout. it's very well set and very well maintained.

best in vizag. been here many times for dinner rather than lunch. my personal opinion is that this is better than novotel's square,zaffran and infinity. don't expect toogoodindian food, its okay. the best part in this restaurant is the ambience and service. every time i tip here, i find it completely worth. desserts and ice creams are must try. great place to have food at. once you like it you won't stop coming.

vista-the park located at beach road,lawson bay.this was on my bucket list for long time, finally paid a visit.i choose buffet because i wanted to taste as many items as possible. buffet spread wasgoodnot great, but loved the ambience.ambience was superb and food was good,totally it was agoodexperience.my bill was around 1300 but it's ok to spend once in a while,worth it.

i love the park properties... been to one in kolkata and chennai... visakhapatnam was a disappointment.. the buffet spread wasn't appealing for the sunday night date so we opted for ala carte.. the yellow corn soup was nice..goodflavors and i got excited that the food will also be good.. it went down the drain post that.. the falafel was disappointing.. the pizza wasgoodbut the time it appeared it got cold.. hummus was okay... been to places which are way better.. all in all.. an okayish experience not worth repeating though.. will try the other options next time around.. obscenely priced for the quality of food provided..
