vista - the park

heard lots of reviews about the park so finally decided to visit it with lots of expectations, the main asset of vista was its water view it gives a pleasant feel. coming tofoodwe took buffet ,dey also provide a la carte menu. fish dum biryani was very yummy,starters were also nice,but non veg currys tasted worst ,especially mutton curry was not cooked well, as most of the visitors were foreigners dafoodwas prepared according to their taste ,south indian guys will not like dat taste. curd rice was really awesome and dey provided many options for deserts, it costed around 2300 for two members ,finally for dat price dafoodwas not at all satisfying, coming to hospitality, it was da worst experience for me, the staff who were serving dere just behaved like some servers near road side hotels,i didn't expected such type of treatment at a 5 star rated hotel, dere was nothing special abt dis place i will not visit it again

we went there on my husband’s birthday. the ambience, calmness and peace is on another level. we went for buffet, and it was quite amazing. non-vegetarians have more options compared to vegetarians, but it’s worth every penny. the service, food, politeness of staff is really nice. the taste and quality offoodis really remarkable.

went for an evening snack at this restaurant, the best thing about this place is not it'sfoodbut the view and the ambiance created while you enjoy your food.

you have a clear view of the bay of bengal, lush greenery and the windy breeze which creates quite an atmosphere. it is an upscale restaurant so be prepared to pay up for the luxury of the view and ambiance.

for the food, i ordered a chicken grilled sandwich accompanied by french fries and coleslaw. the chicken sandwich was quite ordinary and i felt it to be pretty dry, the chicken wasn't as juicy as much you want it to be. the fries were soggy, it's a big turn off when the fries aren't crisp.

also, the service is painfully slow, a lot of times you have to search for people to come to you for your order. 

go there for the view and atmosphere, have a drink or a coffee while you are there.

thefoodwas served in dirty serving bowls and the water glasses were dirty, chinesefoodwas salty. thai green curry was brown. staff was lazy and service was super late and horrible.

first they take ages to take order and you have to ask to get even water.
i ordered pomodoro pasta and watermelon juice. the juice was super super sweet , definitely added sugar.
the pasta was way too salty and watery. never seen pasta made in such a way. plus they don't even provide garlic bread on the side. the charges is 525+ taxes!!
really disappointing

i live across the street from the restaurant and it took an hour and a half to get ourfoodwhich was cold when it arrived. tried to talk to a restaurant staff member and he hung up on me.

one of the best restaurant in the city in terms of view,food and services.foodspread was good. staff are very friendly and proffesional too. you can enjoy the view of sea,pool and landscape while dining. recommended to visit .

had vegetarian buffet , all the curries taste felt same .foodis also not that tasty . over all 3 star ⭐️

food was great. zomato needs to train their drivers. took way to long to get thefoodand it was the driver's fault.

this is a general review for all the numerous visits to this place.

the buffet spread is pretty good specially with the cold cuts , cheese and salads. they never disappoint.

thefoodtaste has gone down recently maybe due to staff issues and there is no consistency while ordering al la carte.

hope things will get better again.

when seen from outside this restaurant looks like an aristocratic traditional house and when you enter you will be amazed by the cozy ambience, warm hospitality and beautiful glass beach view.

this place serves both ala carte and buffet.but i have been mostly for late night dinner and have figured out menu is limited in late night.

have tried veg fried rice, parathas, chicken curry, chicken grilled sandwich, kheema curry, chicken biryani and everytime everything has been perfectly cooked with optimum quality and well presented.

only disappointment is wait time, but as they say goodfoodtakes time to be prepared 😊

nice ambience, location but quality offoodwas okay ish. had much higher expectations from the park....... not worth a 850 bucks of buffet.

vista cannot arranged a table for 10 and two of our guests forced to sit separately on a table.

 we arrived at 02.50pm and found most of the menus are empty and asked to topup thefoodout of which after our repeated requests also mutton curry topped at 03.40 pm when maximum of us already finished or lunch. mutton is uncooked and may be made in a hurry and not at all the standard of a 5 star. dessert chumchum is not there and strangely they lifted the name plate of chumchum instead of filling it and when with name we requested they bring that. quality of thefoodis below average and not not at all of a 5 star hotel. this type of cheap and unprofessional behaviour from a 5 star property is beyond imagination.

wait i have not ended yet, now comes the billing part, 
there is a offer of come 5 bill 4, only 9 guests have taken buffet but the park billed 8 persons instead of 7 and i paid rs.7080/- instead of rs.6195/- through my credit card. when i raised objection they voided previous sale but couldnot give me the bill of 7 persons and again i paid rs 6195/-. the original rs.7080/- still not refunded to me.

is this a 5star hotel, so inefficient, so unprofessional and cheap. never expected in my dreams!!

 hold on my friends brought my wedding anniversary cake for us but despite telling them they have not made any arrangement for cake cuttting and we waited for our table to clean and then by self arrangement we cutted the cake. matchbox to light the candle is also supplied after several requests.

i have no words to express my anger and regrets but yes i will write this to every possible forum so that people will never choose park visakhapatnam for their celebrations. your competitors namely novotel, gateway, bbq etc at visakhapatnam are far far well ahead of your courtesy and guest relations as well asfoodquality.

went to vista - the park, a couple of days ago. took the dinner buffet and was disappointed. thefoodwas mediocre, even in a small restaurant thefoodis kept hot for a buffet. here it was cold, not even warm. unless we called the waiters they didn't bother to remove the plates that we used. overall not something that you would expect from a star hotel. very bad.

visited the place for the lunch with my friends while i was visiting vizag. the whole ambience along with thefoodand the warm welcoming staff is something that made the visit a little more memorable. we ordered calamari and salmon all of which were very nicely prepared and the blend of the sauces was just amazing. staffs are very helpful for the guest delite and the manager was very flexible in terms of the guest requests. would love to visit again and would recommend my friends to visit as well.
