vista - the park

heard lots of reviews about the park so finally decided to visit it with lots of expectations, the main asset of vista was its water view it gives a pleasant feel. coming to food we tookbuffet,dey also provide a la carte menu. fish dum biryani was very yummy,starters were also nice,but non veg currys tasted worst ,especially mutton curry was not cooked well, as most of the visitors were foreigners da food was prepared according to their taste ,south indian guys will not like dat taste. curd rice was really awesome and dey provided many options for deserts, it costed around 2300 for two members ,finally for dat price da food was not at all satisfying, coming to hospitality, it was da worst experience for me, the staff who were serving dere just behaved like some servers near road side hotels,i didn't expected such type of treatment at a 5 star rated hotel, dere was nothing special abt dis place i will not visit it again

had vegetarianbuffet, all the curries taste felt same . food is also not that tasty . over all 3 star ⭐️

have stayed in the hotel for 2 days and enjoyed the restaurant.buffetbreakfast and dinner is good. restaurant has very nice ambeance. i loved biryani, pepper idly. restaurant is located besides swimming pool. it has great view in the morning and you will enjoy the walk outside in the evening.

this is a general review for all the numerous visits to this place.

thebuffetspread is pretty good specially with the cold cuts , cheese and salads. they never disappoint.

the food taste has gone down recently maybe due to staff issues and there is no consistency while ordering al la carte.

hope things will get better again.

vista, very conveniently located fine-dining restaurant near rk beach.
its is the only air-conditioned restaurant in the park & has both ala-carte' andbuffetoptions.

i went with my family on my anniversary and opted for buffet(1050 per pax) on pool facing table .
they didn't charge me for 01 child, which i felt is a great favor.

considering the price, the spread was 8/10. 
ambience was nice. desserts have some great options. 
staff is very attentive & co-operating.
food taste was good. overall a good experience.

vista cannot arranged a table for 10 and two of our guests forced to sit separately on a table.

 we arrived at 02.50pm and found most of the menus are empty and asked to topup the food out of which after our repeated requests also mutton curry topped at 03.40 pm when maximum of us already finished or lunch. mutton is uncooked and may be made in a hurry and not at all the standard of a 5 star. dessert chumchum is not there and strangely they lifted the name plate of chumchum instead of filling it and when with name we requested they bring that. quality of the food is below average and not not at all of a 5 star hotel. this type of cheap and unprofessional behaviour from a 5 star property is beyond imagination.

wait i have not ended yet, now comes the billing part, 
there is a offer of come 5 bill 4, only 9 guests have takenbuffetbut the park billed 8 persons instead of 7 and i paid rs.7080/- instead of rs.6195/- through my credit card. when i raised objection they voided previous sale but couldnot give me the bill of 7 persons and again i paid rs 6195/-. the original rs.7080/- still not refunded to me.

is this a 5star hotel, so inefficient, so unprofessional and cheap. never expected in my dreams!!

 hold on my friends brought my wedding anniversary cake for us but despite telling them they have not made any arrangement for cake cuttting and we waited for our table to clean and then by self arrangement we cutted the cake. matchbox to light the candle is also supplied after several requests.

i have no words to express my anger and regrets but yes i will write this to every possible forum so that people will never choose park visakhapatnam for their celebrations. your competitors namely novotel, gateway, bbq etc at visakhapatnam are far far well ahead of your courtesy and guest relations as well as food quality.

went to vista - the park, a couple of days ago. took the dinnerbuffetand was disappointed. the food was mediocre, even in a small restaurant the food is kept hot for a buffet. here it was cold, not even warm. unless we called the waiters they didn't bother to remove the plates that we used. overall not something that you would expect from a star hotel. very bad.

i went to this place for dinnerbuffetwith family on a weekday. lucky we reached there by 8pm, by 9pm all tables are occupied. main course and desserts are very nice. very few appetisers​ in buffet, little disappointment, but no complaints as the reasonable price justifies it.

service is prompt, improved a lot compared to my previous visits. good job by manager mr. anil sahu.

this is the main restaurant at park which remains open 24×7.. the ambience was really good.. however i can't say the same about the food..buffetoptions was available.. costing 750 + tax per head.. and there were only a few options.. so we went for ala carte.. we ordered padh thai noodle and burger.. the burger was average.. came with french fries and salad.. but the noodles was awful.. flat noodles mixed with some kind of sauce.. i did not like it at all.. could not even finish the dish.. not worth the money at all..

we stayed at park for 5 days...vista being the main restaurant at the park on several occasions we had breakfast lunch and room service from vista kitchen..
restaurant ambience is unique...seating arrangements quite comfortable esp as we travelled with an infant..food quality...quantity and taste are at par with 5 star standards...be it continental...chinese or local andhra flavours... thebuffetmenu selection was thoughtfully done... but we would specially recommend the sunday brunch buffet...starters were great.. ala cart is satisfactory needs little variation..i guess more number of dishes ...
their bakery is awesome..loved all kinds of breads...burgers.. thin crust pizza...and cakes..we would like to thank the chef for baking us a pizza on one occasion at odd hours on special request...
desserts were mind blowing and huge helping..ice creams..pan rasmallai..mysore pak..kiwi cakes..and very reasonably priced for the quality and service...

this place have a good ambiance !!

vista-the park located at beach road,lawson bay.this was on my bucket list for long time, finally paid a visit.i choosebuffetbecause i wanted to taste as many items as possible.buffetspread was good not great, but loved the ambience.ambience was superb and food was good,totally it was a good experience.my bill was around 1300 but it's ok to spend once in a while,worth it.

i love the park properties... been to one in kolkata and chennai... visakhapatnam was a disappointment.. thebuffetspread wasn't appealing for the sunday night date so we opted for ala carte.. the yellow corn soup was nice.. good flavors and i got excited that the food will also be good.. it went down the drain post that.. the falafel was disappointing.. the pizza was good but the time it appeared it got cold.. hummus was okay... been to places which are way better.. all in all.. an okayish experience not worth repeating though.. will try the other options next time around.. obscenely priced for the quality of food provided..

after a lot of recommendations and requests from a friend of mine who happens to be a huge fan of their buffet, last sunday i decided to finally pay a visit. the spread is minimalistic to say the least. i was surprised to see that they do not serve soup sticks with the soup. the servers were hardly bothered about the presence of the guests. it didn't feel that you dining in supposedly the best hotel of vizag. now coming to food. hardly any items were served hot. their biryani, though tasted good, was served cold too. the choice of breads we could choose from was very less (only garlic nan, butter nan and butter roti). i wonder why stuffed nan, which is a standard at any otherbuffetwas not included. they had butter milk and lassi as drinks, which remained 'out of stock' for the majority of our duration of our dining in there. coming to the desserts, the only good dessert was swiss role, which again was out of stock for about 20 minutes even after telling the staff to refill it. all in all, a very bad experience for a food lover and none of the expectations were met. i don't think another visit is warranted to this place.
