vista - the park

the park visit with all my friends this beautiful place during the evenings ambience sea side beautiful place then we order jamaica chicken leg it's rubbery not good test overall it is a good place

nice ambience, location but quality of food was okay ish. had much higher expectations from the park....... not worth a 850 bucks of buffet.

the steward are very less in number , no one there to serve water ... dead flowers on the table ... dirty inside the side table ... cutleries look so old for a 5 star hotel ....

vista cannot arranged a table for 10 and two of our guests forced to sit separately on a table.

 we arrived at 02.50pm and found most of the menus are empty and asked to topup the food out of which after our repeated requests also mutton curry topped at 03.40 pm when maximum of us already finished or lunch. mutton is uncooked and may be made in a hurry and not at all the standard of a 5 star. dessert chumchum is not there and strangely they lifted the name plate of chumchum instead of filling it and when with name we requested they bring that. quality of the food is below average and not not at all of a 5 star hotel. this type of cheap and unprofessional behaviour from a 5 star property is beyond imagination.

wait i have not ended yet, now comes the billing part, 
there is a offer of come 5 bill 4, only 9 guests have taken buffet but the park billed 8 persons instead of 7 and i paid rs.7080/- instead of rs.6195/- through my credit card. when i raised objection they voided previous sale but couldnot give me the bill of 7 persons and again i paid rs 6195/-. the original rs.7080/- still not refunded to me.

is this a 5star hotel, so inefficient, so unprofessional and cheap. never expected in my dreams!!

 hold on my friends brought my wedding anniversary cake for us but despite telling them they have not made any arrangement for cake cuttting and we waited for our table to clean and then by self arrangement we cutted the cake. matchbox to light the candle is also supplied after several requests.

i have no words to express my anger and regrets but yes i will write this to every possible forum so that people will never choose park visakhapatnam for their celebrations. your competitors namely novotel, gateway, bbq etc at visakhapatnam are far far well ahead of your courtesy and guest relations as well as food quality.

had a good time with family @vista although we chose to order the staff and everyone did good job suggesting us the best dishes apart from the buffet. #nonvegplatter is a must try
#vegetablefriedriceandindian chicken curry is my personal fav its so tenderly cooked and the rice is very tasty. i liked the other dishes too.
the ambience is good and warm.
overall its a great experience i would like to thank the staff for thier warm behaviour and helping service.

lovely experience. beautiful place. yumm food. must try the mix sauce pasta (not on the menu) and nasi goreng(my all time fav) the ambience is nice too. i went back home with my camera with loaded memories. the staffs are too good but i believe they should increase the number of staffs as there is a delay in service. overall great place for lunch or dinner

vizag is huge city with vast attractions. the park hotel occupies prime position in hotel hospitality. it is a vacation hotel with excellent beach setup. vista is a proper restaurant with deep menu and talented chefs and huge kitchen. as you can expect hotel of this grandeur can have slightly higher pricing of food. we went with group of cousins which turned out a great moment in life for that time. it also created an idea in our mind, that this place is best for couple dates.🏖️🏘️🌅

went to vista - the park, a couple of days ago. took the dinner buffet and was disappointed. the food was mediocre, even in a small restaurant the food is kept hot for a buffet. here it was cold, not even warm. unless we called the waiters they didn't bother to remove the plates that we used. overall not something that you would expect from a star hotel. very bad.

visited the place for the lunch with my friends while i was visiting vizag. the whole ambience along with the food and the warm welcoming staff is something that made the visit a little more memorable. we ordered calamari and salmon all of which were very nicely prepared and the blend of the sauces was just amazing. staffs are very helpful for the guest delite and the manager was very flexible in terms of the guest requests. would love to visit again and would recommend my friends to visit as well.

went with family during lunch time. they never disappointed us. kids enjoyed the waiting time by exploring the lawn area, pool area..... nice ambience, very warm service and equally delicious food. will look forward to enjoy one evening at your bar.

i went to this place for dinner buffet with family on a weekday. lucky we reached there by 8pm, by 9pm all tables are occupied. main course and desserts are very nice. very few appetisers​ in buffet, little disappointment, but no complaints as the reasonable price justifies it.

service is prompt, improved a lot compared to my previous visits. good job by manager mr. anil sahu.

this is the main restaurant at park which remains open 24×7.. the ambience was really good.. however i can't say the same about the food.. buffet options was available.. costing 750 + tax per head.. and there were only a few options.. so we went for ala carte.. we ordered padh thai noodle and burger.. the burger was average.. came with french fries and salad.. but the noodles was awful.. flat noodles mixed with some kind of sauce.. i did not like it at all.. could not even finish the dish.. not worth the money at all..

we stayed at park for 5 days...vista being the main restaurant at the park on several occasions we had breakfast lunch and room service from vista kitchen..
restaurant ambience is unique...seating arrangements quite comfortable esp as we travelled with an infant..food quality...quantity and taste are at par with 5 star standards...be it continental...chinese or local andhra flavours... the buffet menu selection was thoughtfully done... but we would specially recommend the sunday brunch buffet...starters were great.. ala cart is satisfactory needs little variation..i guess more number of dishes ...
their bakery is awesome..loved all kinds of breads...burgers.. thin crust pizza...and cakes..we would like to thank the chef for baking us a pizza on one occasion at odd hours on special request...
desserts were mind blowing and huge helping..ice creams..pan rasmallai..mysore pak..kiwi cakes..and very reasonably priced for the quality and service...

due to business, i and a number of colleges eat here each night. the menu covers a range of style from western meal to chinese and of course, indian.

we stayed with the indian and covered all the alternatives. every dish was superb. the flavours were fabulous and if you go for the chicken, it can be done with or without the bone in.

i, as a fully paid up member of meat courses,found myself thoroughly enjoying the vegetarian dishes.

the front of house staff are attentive without being over bearing.

i would easily recommend eating here.

if something has changed @ vista in the park hotel property in visakhapatnam is its people and service quality.

6 years back when i stepped into this promising and unique poperty of park , the major attraction was vista and its people. food and gastronomy was mostly guided by these fine ladies and gentlemen of park. in those days coastal cusine was served with an efficacy beyond comparison.

over the last two years the first thing that really faded off from vista was its great people and chefs who made it a great experience for so many of us.

on sunday night as my wife bidisha and myself sat across a table in vista and ordered a set of oriental cuisine , the first thing that struck us that none was there to smile and suggest what is gr8@ vista. i said to wife ,"did you notice this?" she looked at me in utter disbelief !

we ordered a spinach & burnt garlic fried rice and schezuan fish. there was also an order for
cantonese style asian green vegetable .

the fried rice was cooked with precision and tasted good though the oil content was high compared to any acceptable authentic oriental dish. what came as a real surprise was the schezuan fish which actually was cooked in andhra style and by no means was schezuan. we instantly brought the same to the attention of the chef who applogised and wanted to get us something else.

the next monday morning breakfast menu was ordinary and it seems there is nothing much to mention into it.

my spouse and i for long long years into travel and exploring have always believed that gastronomy is all about touching the heart.

i request the park visakhapatnam management to please bring back the old talents and try and improve on the epicurean delight which park has been historically known for.
