vino e pasta

this is such a nice little cozy italian restaurant.  theserviceis always excellent, and the place just has a warm neighborhood vibe to it.  this is my go-to italian when i want quiet, intimate, and unpretentious.

absolutely wonderful. this was a most rewarding dining experience. theservicewas excellent, the food was superb and the dessert was extraordinary. it is a small place and that is probably makes it so good. i had the veal marsala and the veal was sliced very thin and tender enough to cut with a fork. the pasta side was not overcooked. i had the tiramisu for dessert and it was simply to die for. i lived and worked in italy for two years and this was as good an italian restaurant meal as i have had since i left. i talked to the owner and his comment to me was "i try to bring a little bit of italy to my restaurant every day". i am on business here in tampa and this place is now on my must visit list whenever i am in town. thank you urbanspoon for helping me find this gem.

when something is this good, you write about it so others can have the same experience. vino has italian standards, but try their nightly special - typically innovative takes on classics. attentive, courteousserviceadds immensely to the great plates. it's a small place, so prepare to smell the dishes at the table next to you...this is a good thing!

great break from turkey. had dinner friday night after thanksgiving for 6 people including 2 teenage boys who are pivky eaters.they loved the chicken parm while my other guests enjoyed their pasta seafood special,salmon special and veal piccata. great break for the taste buds and as usualservicewas good without any prompting.the boys cleaned their plates and even enjoyed special cream puffs. i'll keep coming back for nights like this!!

my favorite!. my husband and i have always loved this little place. by little, i mean it seats no more than 40 people. the food is wonderful, and theserviceis amazing. the waiter comes by to brush crumbs off the table, and waits on you hand and foot, and only brings the check once you ask for it.

at our wedding, we didn't eat much, so we were hungry when we left. we decided to go eat at vino e pasta. we walked in (in wedding gown and tux) and instantly the entire restaurant burst into applause. we were treated like royalty, and that's really saying something considering the amazingserviceyou always get when wearing a t-shirt!

we ordered a glass of wine, and the waiter returned with a bottle. he informed us that it was courtesy of another patron, who was there celebrating his 43rd anniversary with his family. he sent his wishes that we would be as happy as he had been during his marriage.

while this was a very special experience, even an everyday experience at vino e pasta is memorable.
