wow, what an experience.. let me start by saying i was iffy to spend so much on one meal. however it was well worth the price. the appetizer was to die for along with the meal and dessert. if you have the chance, stop inm, you wont be dissapointed.

mixed feelings.. this place is definitely good, don't get me wrong on that. the food is good and reminds me of my grandmother who made many italian dishes passed down through the family. the owner is more than attentive and takes care of any issue.
however, it is pretty expensive, especially since most of the dishes i can make at home and it tastes pretty similar. that is probably just a personal opinion being that i cook a lot of italian. the little things add up fast: appetizer, dessert, wine. specials are expensive, but looking at the ingredients they should be.
my advice: go here for special occasions and live it up. or, if you want to experience good italian food, but don't want to spend around 80-120, don't order the extras. if you go with a group, discuss how you will pay ahead of time or bring cash because it is difficult to split up things like wine that are shared and you don't want to end up paying more than your share.
great restaurant, but i will save my visits for very special occasions!!! too bad i'm poor! :)

this is the most authentic italian food i have had in tulsa. the owner moved here from italy (the waiter gives you the restaurant background and history) and the owner is most friendly and pleasant making sure to greet and check in with all of his guests. very nice atmosphere. and the food was superb, they really know what they are doing! everything is made there in the restaurant and is so fresh, from entrees to dessert, perfect texture on the pasta and delightful, delicate flavors. we loved it and are so happy that we tried it. we can't wait to go back, writing this review is making me hungry!

just go!. business colleague and i in from various cities around the us. long day, non existent lunch. found villa ravenna here and double-checked on yelp.com. didn't make a reservation, walked in, immediately seated (last table), couple of big parties 12+ there. service was superb, owner welcomed us and checked in with us a couple of times. my colleague and i both ordered the special, chilean sea bass with linguine. it came out with the other version, risotto. our waiter stopped the expediter and he picked up all three plates (other colleagues was fine), corrected plates along with our colleague's, were delivered very quickly. the fact that they picked up the plate that was correct so he wouldn't have to eat before us and to keep it warm was an indication of the level of service here.

all of us were very impressed. couldn't imagine finding a restaurant of this caliber in tulsa. i am here frequently on business and it will be my standard dinner spot. awesome for clients as well.

supergood.. it's awesome. delicious food: the wild boar sausage appetizer blew us away; the black linguine seafood was killer, as was the lobster ravioli. best tiramisu i've ever had. the flavors are complex and understated, not full-bore garlic/tomato explosions. more antonioni than scorsese. intimate, romantic atmosphere, perfect for our anniversary dinner. the service is solid, just not typical for oklahoma. if you need something, just tell them and they'll hook you up, but they largely, wonderfully, leave you alone. the europeanish service philosophy seems to be that you're there to dine at your pace with the people at your table, not to see the waiters and not to be hurried out. the owner is attentive and very sweet. plenty of wines by the glass, and several bottle selections in the mid-$40s. the menu had dishes at all kinds of price points--$10-15 pastas and chicken, about $20 for my seafood, on up for the steaks and such. you just can't go wrong here. ciao is great, but this is more old school, like soho vs. greenwich village. ꭳꮝꮣꮫ all around! we might just have a new favorite in tulsa.

amazing experience. ate here friday night with friends. atmosphere was charming, romantic. server was so knowledgeable we actually let him choose our entrees and our wine. fantastic experience. owner on site made table visits. dessert yum!! and an aged limonchello drink that was
unique. this is a hidden gem on tulsa's dining scene. can't wait to go back and try some more traditional items.

delicious mother's day dinner!. it was mother's day and i was craving italian food. we were coming back home from out of town and we were tired, not to mention that our 18 month old son would be in no shape to sit through dinner. my favorite italian restaurant closed so i was looking for a new one to try and came across this gem. we called and asked if we could order our food to go and pick it up. the staff was super friendly on the phone. we arrived there in 15 minutes and our food was piping hot and ready to go! we ordered 2 appetizers, one was pears with cheese and then a shrimp appetizer with avocado and pineapple. oh my goodness...it was delicious! my husband ordered the veal piccata and i ordered the chicken piccata. it was light and delicious and the pasta was amazing. my husband ordered mushroom risotto and it was delicious too, our young son kept asking for more of it. thanks to villa ravenna, i enjoyed a wonderful mother's day meal in the comfort of our own home. i couldn't have asked for a better meal. we will be coming back shortly for our anniversary and look forward to actually eating there in the restaurant. thank you, villa ravenna, now i have a favorite tulsa italian restaurant again!

first time to villa ravenna and the consensus was overall good. one member of the party had an escargot starter, followed by veal marsala. the escargot was flavorful and the veal was tender. the waiter expressed many people thought the marsala sauce was tarte compared to others, but we thought quite the contrary. another member of the party had the salmon pasta. the salmon was cooked nicely but the dish was probably not something we would choose to order again. the third member of the party ordered the lamb chops. i have to say i've had the priveledge of eating lamb chops all over the world and these were right on par of some of the most perfectly cooked lamb...ever. the mash was also quite tasty. and finally to the last dish...my dish. the sea scallops. sigh, i have to say i was very disappointed. after having tasted the perfectly cooked lamb, i expected my scallops to melt in my mouth, instead i was met with overcooked scallops. the flavor was nice with the sea salt - but scallops are a fine art and i was not on the same page as the artist...i probably did a disservice by not sending them back, but i hate being that person...they were edible, so i endured. :) the mushroom risotto was nice. the waiter advised on his favorite wine which was fantastic. he was a little quirky, but we liked that. he checked on us just enough and we weren't asked how every little thing was, which is annoying to us. it was a nice dinner, some exceeding an some lacking but all in all i'd recommend this restaurant.

special birthday dinner. i took my husband here for his 50th birthday on (urbanspoon) faith, although we had never been to villa ravenna before. it is tucked into the corner of a modern strip mall, but just call and sergio will wave you down. i had no trouble finding delicious vegan items on the menu, and he had wild game and was very pleased with it. the waiter was friendly, attentive, and professional. everyone made an effort to make sure we had a quiet corner. but wait ... the desserts were to die for!! and i am very fussy. even though my chocolate mousse was amazing, i kept stealing from my husband's limoncello cake. "life changing!" he said. the very gracious owner chatted with us at length and we learned a lot about limoncello (which sits in large glass urns here and there in the restaurant). the waiter slipped us eat a tiny glass and it was exquisite. just amazing. you owe it to yourself to try this lovely restaurant. we will be back!
