always a pleasant experience. comfortable setting, nice ambiance, good waitstaff, plenty of elbow room with the new addition. food presentation was above average, all good - no real complaints other than there seems to be something missing from the boar.
we'll go back.

expensive. add $10 to the outdated $25 entree price. dinner for three was $200. well, okay, the bottle ofwinewas $50. it was my wife's birthday.
the boar was good, not outstanding, not as flavorful as hoped. my wife's steak was excellent, as was my son's chicken parmigiana. the presentations were adequate, not as eye-catching as one would expect for the price.
the waiter was attentive and knew the product line. seating was comfortable and not crowded. good selection of wines. the host/owner watches the proceedings and steps in where needed to help customers with their coats and chairs.
and, as far as i know, this is the only italian restaurant in town where the owners speak with an italian accent. adds to the ambiance and authenticity.
live piano music played in the background. sure, it was a synthesizer, but it fit in well.
the menu items were many and interesting; the wife and i agreed this is one of the few restaurants that requires a return trip.
