bland overly- gamey tasting burger. my brie wasn't even melted on top of it. i specifically asked for my burger to be cooked through and it was medium rare. not what i was expecting. also got the jalapeño poppers and they were disgusting. won't be back. very disappointed bc i wanted to love it!

after my 3rd trip here and paying attention to other establishments pricing compared to what you get, this is hands down the best burger in tally. you can pay the same at that middle earth place and get a well done hockey puck or you can get a grass fed burger cooked the way you want it. bloody as hell.

is the burger worth $9? to me, yes. they prominently display a sign at the register informing that all burgers are cooked medium. as you can see by my posted pic, they deliver on their statement. i like red meat. the redder (sic?) the better. there are precious few joints in the tally
area where you can get a burger that has not been grillled/fried/microwaved into oblivion. the sweet potato fries were refreshingly crisp. the herbed mayonnaise served with them had less taste than miracle whip. i will return to this establishment and look forward to trying their other offerings.

i enjoyed the southern spin. it was fabulous...pimento cheese and fried green tomatoes (plural!) on a burger?!? it was like the south in a bite. i will say that it was a bit rich for the average burger, but knowing that-- you should be alright to try it and i recommend it. just maybe take a few tums before you go ;)

holy grass fed cow that was good!!!!. just finished devouring their special of the week and oh boy was it good. it was a a smoked gouda-stuffed burger topped with caramelized onions, apple sauerkraut, and lusty monk whole grain mustard on a toasted brioche bun. now i'm not one for hyperbole, but there was a scary moment when i was staring down the last bite of my burger and i briefly contemplated suicide out of fear of never having a burger this good again. i'm not proud of it. if you want a burger that changes everything, get this one!!!

most people have voted on vertigo when they first opened.. if you know anything about the food industry you know to wait till they have been open a while to go. vertigo is the best burger joint i have ever been to. with all fresh ingredients and all made to order food you can tell the difference. definitely worth the money. the southern spin is to die for.

we were really, really excited at first when we heard that the good folks behind cypress restaurant  were opening up a burger joint just down the street from us.  well, once vertigo burgers and fries was up and running, our initial enthusiasm faded into fussy ambivalence.  we went there fairly frequently, both because it was nearby and because when everything was going right you could get a fantastic burger there.  but far too often, the service was spotty, the place was infuriatingly overcrowded, or the kitchen would botch simple things like cooking patties to a consistent level of doneness .  but they have been slowly but steadily amping up their game and improving their consistency, and while the result these days may not be perfect, their better offerings are some of the best burgers in town. vertigo shows off its spartan-but-colorful interior on an unusually slow weeknight. i am trying so hard not to say anything snide about their weird color scheme. damn, i guess i just failed.

best buffalo chicken sandwich and shakes!. after my first visit to vertigo, i was disappointed in the burger. i felt the quality and taste did not match the price. however, after giving this place another try, i have fallen in love with the buffalo chicken sandwhich. why has no one reviewed it yet?!? the really juicy, fresh-fried chicken filet is topped with a carrot, celery, and blue cheese and buffalo salad that perfectly compliments the toasted bun. it was an absolutely perfect sandwich. i also had the chocolate shake which was handspun right in front of my eyes with bits of hot fudge in it. i will definitely return for the buffalo chicken, i could take or leave the burgers.

actually enjoyed the burger but too small. one would think you'd at least get fries and a drink for a $9 burger the size of a whopper jr

came here a couple times initially and didn't like it. came back thinking maybe it would be better. nope. still sucks.

just ok. not the best burger i've ever had. too salty and overcooked. the concept is nice but poorly executed, and prices are a bit high for the quality of food. when we ordered no one greeted us or asked if we had ever visited. wait staff seems very inexperienced. we chose one of the tables inside and it had not been cleaned, and we waited 40 minutes for what i consider to be mediocre food. burgers shouldn't take that long. i never received my drink, and when our food arrived, one of the orders was wrong.

the fries are good, but all-around experience was certainly nothing special.

been twice in the past couple of months. if you like whole food, fresh quality ingredients, you will probably love it. i don't like eating out b/c of the crappy ingredients, but i give vertigo an a++. it's an alternative to mockingbird quality dining. it is difficult for me to believe the contrary reviews, perhaps it's a lunch hour rush problem? i think both times we went were after 2p. $8 isn't expensive for a quality burger, wendy's baconator is over $7 ...

avoid. i went here soon after they opened. i brought two of my kids. we all agreed that the food was tasteless, and i felt it was overpriced. hit up voodoo dog instead.

not bad but way too expensive for the size of the burger. the patty was a third of the size of the bun. moe's blows them away and comparatively priced.
