my family and i celebrated moms bday here earlier today and it was absolutely a lovely experience.

great staff! great ambience! great food! we ordered the aloo channa chaat, chicken tikka and the banana leaf wrapped tiger prawns for starters. the aloo chaat was my favorite.

for main course we had gobhi muttar, dal thadka and murg something(can't recall) with naan but it was all good.

will definitely visit this place more often and advise you to do so too! bon appetite?

the best indian restaurant in uae.. the cheken makani was super tender and tasty .. and the lamb baryani is amazing

found this indian restaurant. the staff are courteous. loved the ambience, specially the jhulas. the tandoors were of great taste but on bit expensive side. the main course with biriyani was awesome, the only thing missing is the sense of presenting a dish suitable to the taste of the customer. some scope of improvement for the chef

if i could give ushna a rating of 6 out of 5, i certainly would! ushna is so good!
chef sandeep ail is one of those rare indian chefs who can create the most beautiful looking indian dishes while maintaining intricate  indian flavours. the menu represents the diverse palate of the indian subcontinent well and occasionally they do special menus which are recommended. must try is the 'raan e lucknowi' and 'cheemen polichatu' among others. ushna is fully licensed and their barmen do some amazing concoctions with indian spices. tip: while the interiors are beautiful, you may want to sit outside on terrace where the views are lovely as well.. i have dined at ushna a few times and have always wanted to go back soon after!

this may be abu dhabi's best indian restaurant but the staff is very ordinary especially the management team. even if you give them advance notice they struggle to take care of your basic requests in spite of giving you many assurances otherwise.
on a birthday night they convinced us to wait for a kulfi cake....after asking about it multiple times and finally giving up 30 minutes later they brought it out as we were walking out of the restaurant ?!?!
extra stars for the food but if i am disappointed in service once again i will decrease my rating.

dined here last night. they had lovely outdoor seating arrangements ... the food was quite good as well. i loved their garlic naan .. it was very well done and soft. ambience and decor were good as well.  we had kulfi for the dessert which i felt became too sweet with addition of the syrup. the drinks were very strongly flavoured as well (we tried the peppermint/apple drink and the vanilla drink).
id return for the ambience and the food.

after reading a review of this place on timeoutabudhabi, decided to try this place out for my dad's birthday. loved the ambiance of this place, since the weather was good we decided to sit outside. the view from this place is spectacular. 
the staff at this place is very friendly and courteous and kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed.
the food on the whole was pretty good! for starters we tried the prawn wrapped in banana leaf, the non-veg platter and the usmaa scallops, all of which were good. the only issue i had with the starters was the quantity, we needed to order two of everything for enough to go around 4 people.
the portion size of the main course dishes however was pretty good. we had the madras chicken, dal tadka, daab chingri along with some roti and rice. everything we ordered was flavorsome. i would especially like to mention that their butter naan is absolutely brilliant, i haven't had better naan in abu dhabi. 

on the whole, ushna is a good place for indian food, although a little over priced.

great place! great location! great views! great food! great service!i think i need not say anything more.. probably one of my favourite indian restaurants at abu dhabi!

excellent service delicious food and romantic ambience

a restaurant that is too good to be true.
the beach view along with sheikh zayed's mosque. not to forget the yachts.
their food is full of taste. their desserts, specially the rasmalai, are not to be missed!
their dishes, specially the butter chicken are not forgettable.
i guess i am addicted to their food. must visit them once every month, at least.

i dont know what to say about ushna. i lovvveeee ittt seriously best desserts and indian food. i cant get enough of their rasmalai they taste like heaven ❤️❤️

excellent interior, ambience, service and food. have been here a number of times and tried many dishes. there is hardly one that would disapppoint. prices a bit on the higher side but they arw worth it. once, my friend made a cake for my birthday and gave it to the staff to serve after dinner as surprise. it was a very cool birthday celebration that i had with their friendly staff :)

great mood , great service , great food , thanks for basanta the excellent waiter and for his good recommendations. and the whole team were really helpful and smiley . and the restaurant manager came to ask and make sure that everything as per our expectations

this is my third time here at ushna restaurant in abu dhabi. we just ordered chicken and vegetables biryani along with butter chicken and some yogurt ❤️ very delicious food and lovely place for lunch! ❤️❤️

the best butter chicken ever. wasnt crazy about the biryani ws a bit dry and bland.. but all in all it was a very good experience becsuse of the butter chicken..

update: biryani still mediocre and butter chicken was a bit iver spiced and not too sweet like before. preferred it before. the garlic naan was to die for and so was the pomegranate lychee. they also gave us bluberry lemon juice samples to try.
