a great little nice sushi fix in the praires! thequalityof the food and size of servings are top notch and the service is amazing! love it!

urban sushi is an excellent sushi place that's worth the drive out to white city if you live in regina. i come here often and the owner is extremely nice and welcoming. i've always had good service and the sushi is fresh and tasty. i recommend the combo c for two people as it includes a variety of maki rolls. the restaurant is clean and thequalityof the food is consistent. if you haven't been here yet, definitely give it a try as the menu has a variety of combos and individual dishes to choose from.

very good. i've been a sushi eater for over 10 years, but a very infrequent eater. 3 years ago i got hooked in vancouver, and during the summers i spend out west i eat a lot of sushi. nothing in the prairies even comes close to thequalityand value available out there.
urban, out of all the sushi places in regina, does a very good job. i've eaten there a few times and had take-out 3 or 4 times beyond that. the portions are reasonable, and the protein (i.e. raw fish), isn't shaved razor thin like everywhere else in regina. everything has always been fresh. good job urban! i'll be coming back a lot.

decent sushi!. very good sushi and excellent value for your buck. is it worth driving to emerald park for it? the answer is "it depends". if you are prepared to pay a bit more, you can get similarqualityin enso, michi, and hanabi in regina.

best place. i've been there few times and every time when i've visited, i always satisfied.
thequalityof foods was excellent, staffs were friendly, and price was really reasonable compared to thequalityand the quantity.
i was also impressed to how they treated customers; there was a kid beside my table who actually has allergy on gluten and dairy products. i could see one of the staffs was trying her best to consider carefully for that kid and i even noticed that the kid's mom felt really appreciate on how they deal with.
i was surprised on how much they care about customers.

my favorite dishes are volcano roll, smoked salmon philadelphia roll, urban tower and shitake mushroom roll. i definitely recommend this place!

i discovered this restaurant just a few weeks ago and i have already been there quite a few times. i believe they opened quite recently, so i hope they would maintain the samequalityin the years to come.

absolutely fabulous sushi!! we have tried many but this one wins on quality. the service excellent and the menu well written and clear. we ordered the tuna and salmon sashimi to start and both were tender but firm with nice presentation. then we had tempura california roll, california roll and salmon and tuna maki. very flavorful and the rice was firm and sticky as should be but not starchy. obviously betterqualitythan what we have had at other places. tea was delicious as well. we will try more items on the menu next time and follow up on them. it's not too far out of the city in the least imho.

best sushi in regina... by far!. i want to be realistic about the sushi restaurants in regina and area. each one seems to be focused on the all-you-can eat style of sushi (lots of rice and lack ofqualityingredients). the urban sushi & grill was a very nice change from the low end sushi around regina. this is no "all you can eat", but the portion sizes certainly leave you stuffed after the fact. the restaurant is very tastefully done, the hostess was very polite and dressed up.

two people ate for $40, we had a full size lunch for the next day to pack up as well. we ordered one of their combos (near the back of their menu). it included a variety of rolls, sashimi, tempura, and we added the alaska roll (smoked salmon).

the prices are great, the food was very fresh, the portions were larger than what we're used to, and their rolls were packed full of the good stuff. regina (white city) officially has a sushi place that rivals other high end sushi restaurants throughout canada. thanks, we'll be back many many times, clearly #1 in saskatchewan! as for the "too far to drive" comment, you're kidding right?

well worth the drive!. my boyfriend and i ventured out to emerald park on sunday afternoon after reading about it on this site. i was surprized that we were the only people in the restaurant at 6 pm, considering thequalityof the meal we had. the serving staff were friendly and attentive without being clingy. the food was fresh, the flavours bright, the quantity satisfying. i strongly recommend their jungle roll (california roll topped with greens and beef teriyaki - so good we ordered a second!) and their philadelphia roll. the shrimp and yam tempura was lightly battered with no oily residue or taste. our bill with tip came to $50 and was money well spent. we will be back!
