agreatlittle nice sushi fix in the praires! the quality of the food and size of servings are top notch and the service is amazing! love it!

we drove to this location withgreatexpectation, but were greeted with the lousiest service right from the beginning. upon entering the restaurant we were seated right beside the door, which would make a very loud banging noise when it closed. there were many tables available but we were put in the corner. we then asked to move tables because it was so disturbing. the waitress didn’t come back to our table until a good 20 minutes later to even offer us anything. based on the reviews of this place, we thought we were in for a treat. turns out that the complaints about the service are very spot on. our waitress was tending to everyone in the restaurant including answering the phone. she did not have time to come to our table even though there were only 4 occupied tables. we had to wave her over for more water and after that she never checked on us. the food was good, but the rolls were so big that they would often fall apart before you could even pick them up. all in all, the food was decent, but the service really put a damper on our outing.

awesome. was rated the highest on urbanspoon so we went to check it out, not knowing it was out of the city and google maps took us the wrong spot. but was not disappointed with thegreatsushi we got our fix! and the sushi was huuuge and was at agreatprice.. will most definitely go again!

the best sushi i have ever had!!!!!!! service was good, only took 10 minutes to get out meal and it was amazing!!! we got 2 dynamite combos (dynamite roll, california, and 2 others!) for only $15 each!!! i would have paid a hundred dollars for how good it was!!!! i will be making frequent trips out of the city for thisgreatfood!!!

amazing sushi! alwaysgreatfood,greatservice. inexpensive too. some special rolls are two biters but you definitely get your monies worth here. fresh and amazing flavours. every. single. time.

wow!. if you won't make the 5 minute drive out of regina for this food, you must've slipped on the winter ice and hit your head:p consistentlygreatfood and good portion sizes for a reasonable price. all i can say is yum!

up - nice clean spot for some good sushi. quality, service and speed was good too.

down - getting back onto the highway is pretty sketchy so be careful. 

out - a good spot to grab some good japanese if you want to skip the inner city. not that there's anythinggreatin regina... :p

such agreatrestaurant but its toooooo far!!! how disappointing.it would have been the best if it was actually "in the city"

by far the best sushi place in saskatchewan!! i was so impressed with the size, price and quality of the rolls! the service wasgreattoo!

anothergreatmeal!. just went again to urban sushi this evening - another fabulous meal all around. urban tower and specialty rolls were fantastic! remains highly recommended for any sushi lovers in and around southern saskatchewan.

extremely impressed!. after reading all of the positive reviews, a friend and i trekked out to emerald park to check this place out. we had supper at 7pm and there was literally nobody else in the restaurant, so needless to say it was quiet. service was very friendly and the menu was extensive. food was served very promptly and my only small gripe is that our sashimi came out before the appetizers. sashimi pieces were massive and very fresh. tempura was well done and not overly battered. edamame was bang-on. specialty rolls (we had dynamite and rainbow) were huge and very nicely presented. "spicy" tuna and "spicy" salmon were just regular tuna / salmon rolls with a bit of spicy sauce on top, little underwhelming but still tasty. entire meal, with green tea and no dessert, with tip came to around $50. we were both stuffed. considering that i am used to paying $75-90 at michi for the same food, this was agreatbargain. decor was great, brand new place. if you're looking for agreatplace for authentic japanese, make sure to make the drive out and support this restaurant! we'll definitely be back again soon with others in tow.
