another great meal!. just went again to urban sushi this evening - another fabulous meal all around. urban tower and specialty rolls were fantastic! remains highly recommended for any sushi lovers in and around southern saskatchewan.

extremely impressed!. after reading all of the positive reviews, a friend and i trekked out to emerald park to check this place out. we had supper at 7pm and there was literally nobody else in the restaurant, so needless to say it was quiet. service was very friendly and the menu was extensive. food was served very promptly and my only small gripe is that our sashimi came out before the appetizers. sashimi pieces were massive and very fresh. tempura was well done and not overly battered. edamame was bang-on. specialty rolls (we had dynamite and rainbow) were huge and very nicely presented. "spicy" tuna and "spicy" salmon were just regular tuna / salmon rolls with a bit of spicy sauce on top, little underwhelming but still tasty. entire meal, with green tea and no dessert, with tip came to around $50. we were both stuffed. considering that i am used to paying $75-90 at michi for the same food, this was a great bargain. decor was great, brand new place. if you're looking for a great place for authentic japanese, make sure to make the drive out and support this restaurant! we'll definitely be back again soon with others in tow.
