i have eaten here multiple times, and each time it has been a great experience. breakfast is good. definitely recommend their home fries. dinners here have been alright. the dinnerfoodis definitely good, but i am not blown away. the bar and the bartenders are really nice. it's never overcrowded. definitely my go to place in bloomington.

simply wonderfulfoodin a great space. a very classy atmosphere with a very nice bar. thefoodis always delicious, the specials never disappoint, nor do the desserts. the place is always very clean and usually wonderfully and informative staff, especially with the wine and spirits selection.

great soccer pub!. i oftentimes go there to watch chelsea soccer games and it is a great atmosphere. the bartenders are not pushy and thefoodis great! also, a solid selection of food. i recommend the restaurant to anyone!

i love this place. i just enjoyed a very good lunch at the uptown. i had a dish with basil pesto and pecans. it was very well seasoned. everything was just right. my husband was happy with his cajun meatloaf served with the (optional) carrots and asparagus. my daughter and i also enjoyed the chocolate mousse dessert. also served well, tasted great. i don't go there often enough. for cajunfoodin this area - it's the best.

lemon pepper chicken.. that's all you need to know. freaking delicious.

edit: i just recently had brunch here for the first time. i had the eggs benedict with port demi-glace, which had a specific name that i can't remember. it was fantastic. just be aware, their prices are pretty much the same as for dinner, so it comes out to be a pretty expensive breakfast. my eggs were $16, which i think is the same price as my favorite dinner dish there. really really good, though, and plenty offoodfor the money.

fivestar. the atmosphere is great and the location is by lots of neat places by the square. it has been there for ever and thefoodis tops. you won't regret eating here. make sure you ask to see the management if you are not happy and they will make it right, but most likely you should see the management to compliment them on an excellent meal, they will appreciate that. you will make it a regular stop ever time you get to "b" town. great place. great people.

o.k. food, slow service. michaels is your typical greasy spoon. thefoodis alright, a little pricey for the average quality. the service is pretty slow. the coffee is alright. there are better options in b-town.

michael's uptown cafe is amazing. bestfoodin bloomington by far. i often find other restaurants trying copy menu items from the uptown but they don't compare. if you want greatfoodand service. go to uptown. best breakfast i've ever had too.
