tucker's onion burgers

best burger. this was my 1st trip here and i ordered a mother trucker with cheese, fries, a soda....then a chocolate shake!!
wow..... let me say that again..... wow!!!
i took a picture of my hamburger heaven and sent it to my teenagers, advising them that i had discovered the best hamburger in okc and they would be having it for lunch this weekend!
they will be thanking me for bringing it into their lives.

great burger seasoning and a little grease, hot off the grill, melted cheese with super friendly service!! yum!!
the kind staff recommened a chocolate shake - and i have to say that was the icing on the cake!! delicious!!!!!

that monster of a burger is called the “mother tucker”. this burger is not a “challenge” size food, but is large for sure. coming with three large patties with grilled onions and optional threes slices of cheese, the thing is beastly. the first time i visited i ordered a double with cheese, fries, and a

simply top notch. the burgers are great. peppers are on the extreme hot side for a burger though.

great burgers. i tried tucker's last week . while i enjoy my food spicy, i was warned about the jalapenos but i figured i could handle it since i often eat them. wooweee, it was on fire. next time i will opt for 1/2 an order of peppers. i got the smallest burger, with cheese, and raw onions instead of grilled, fries and a cup of lemonade. it was more than enough food. everything was delicious. the bun is superb, and just the perfect wrap for the meat. the lemonade is homemade. i did go at an off time so not too much of a wait. will definitely be back.

eat local!. i don't know how you couldn't love this place. a truly delicious burger on a great, locally baked bun, served with fresh cut fries.

simple menu with no frills and the best burger in okc. the counter service is a little slow but its worth the wait.

good points lots of accessible seating bad points hard to open restroom door. and the place is very loud. and that makes it more difficult to order.

i keep reading about how expensive this place is and how average it is. it's the same price as every other burger place. the burgers are always hot and delicious. nic's is the best around. period... but if you can't work your schedule around nic's then tuckers and s&b burgers are honestly the next best thing. my seventy year old mother likes them for god's sake. so go get an onion burger made on bread from one of our local bakeries already.

i'll just put this to rest real quick. i keep reading about how expensive this place is and how average it is. it's the same price as every other burger place. the burgers are always hot and delicious. nic's is the best around. period... but if you can't work your schedule around nic's then tuckers and s&b burgers are honestly the next best thing. my seventy year old mother likes them for god's sake. so go get an onion burger made on bread from one of our local bakeries already.

good burger...wish there was a kid-size one. burgers and fries were good. so are the shakes. the menu is very limited, as has been stated before. be aware, there is no kid size burger, so we had to order a full size burger for the 3 year old.

tucker's onion burgers is no s&b. tucker's onion burgers are edible. they won't make you vomit or give you the runs. beyond that they are the most boring, mediocre, and bland burgers in okc. the decor is like a hospital. who wants to eat burgers in a hospital. the ketchup makes you feels like it's a bloody emergency room, so that not appetizing. then you get your food when the girl behind the counter is yelling like "hey guy", "here's your burgers". so you sit down to eat your burgers and they look terrible. if you're eating in a burger joint and they still have to wrap your burger in paper it's like making love with the lights off. s&b burger joint would never do that. then you go ahead and eat the thing, and you're like "what the heck". what turkey made this thing. i ask you how can a freshly made burger be done so badly that it tastes like it was microwaved. i'm an oklahoman and i love oklahoma, and this place makes me angry that it serves this kind of junk to my fellow oklahominids. get it right folks it's an insult to say this place is on par with in-n-out burger. five guys is crap, but in-n-out? tuckers is missing a key ingredient in the in-n-out burger experience and that's the stench that follows you out of the restaurant. everybody who's had in-n-out burgers knows you end-up with a distinct bo from eating their burgers. tucker's onion burgers might give you gas from all the onions but no cool signature stink. if you're thinking about having burgers at tucker's onion burgers, get your head straight ya turkey and go over to s&b burger joint. s&b burger joint is the best in okc.

ate here for lunch on saturday. i was trying to remember what i ordered? oh yeah, an onion burger. double. with fries. burger came out nice and hot. i was expecting the burger to be good since it's the only item they serve and it didn't disappoint. lots of flavor and the bun is better than average. the fries were excellent as well. kind of took me back to my childhood when the small-town drugstores had a burger counter. very nice food. minor inconveniences: food is served in a paper bag which i really can't stand, very greasy which is unfortunate because i won't be able to eat there very often. again, minor. good food. good experience.

not impressed. this is close but not in and out burger. decent food just not the best in town when you have been to in and out burger. actually five guys is the best burger place.

mmmm good. one of the tastiest onion burgers around. the burger is juicy; the onions are just right; and the bun has beautiful body and flavor. while the fries are good, it is just a little too much fried food for me, so i skip the fries and save room for one of their homemade chocolate shakes. yum!

onion heaven. these burgers are so good. perhaps it is the wonderfully dense, toasted, flavorful bun. or maybe it is the mound of fried onions. or maybe it is the fresh meat. whatever it is, it combines to be a delightfully juicy and tasty burger. the fries come in a big mound too, and you can really just get one order and share with your friends. i suggest saying room for one of the chocolate shakes in any way you can!
