long wait but worth it. tucker's is my favoriteonionburger right now. they are just perfect as far as i'm concerned. the staff is friendly and the place is clean. if there are more than 5 people in line be prepared to wait, the cashiers don't seem to move very fast.

review. tucker's serves up one of the bestonionburgers in okc, along with terrific fries and milk shakes. their strawberry lemonade is also excellent. they are also really good about filling special orders. we will sometimes order our burgers "bunless" and tucker's will make terrific lettuce-wrapped burgers for us. service is not the fastest, but the burgers are made fresh.

not a true el renoonionburger! this is a want to be! i was disappointed with the burger. i expected it to be on par with theonionburgers in el reno. the onions need to be smashed into the meat and not just thrown on top! if you're going to do something, do it right!

tucker's in anonionburger spot in the tradition of the acclaimed joints in el reno.  i'm not a big fan of the "smashed" style of cookingonionburgers so tucker's may not work for me anyway but i saw good reviews and i usually like the "good egg" group places.  i prefer sautéed or caramelizedonionand i really like to be able to taste something other than overcooked onions which is what i found here.  you know, the beef, cheese, pickles, jalapenos, mustard etc.  all i tasted was the onions and i tasted them all night.  the fries were the thin type and could have been crispier but basically okay.  there are many great burger places in okc....s&b's, earls rib, irma's, the garage and nic's to name a few so you really don't settle.  the facilities were neat and clean and the staff was great.  i'll try again and if they can make my burger to order i'll amend my review.

this place is an above averageonionburger joint. in a state and region flooded with greatonionburger joints, tucker's still makes a name for themselves. they get their onions a little on the well done side and i dig that. their fries are greasy in all the right ways. they have local and organic options for burgers if that's your thing. on a housekeeping note, they use those ionizing water sprayers that clean the tables without chemicals which is nice since they are constantly cleaning around you (non-intrusively) while you dine. its also nice to have such a good burger joint in this area of town.

this is a chain diner serving completely expectedonionburgers and completely unexpected and very tasty fries. you can almost always park, get in and get out in a flash. the food is incredibly greasy intends to sit very heavy on the stomach for hours afterwards but can be satisfying when you're looking for that kind of dive.

tucker's is a trendy restaurant concept that fools people by cleverly marketing the notion they are serving "onion burgers". in reality, they sell burgers with onions on top. a realonionburger, such as those found in el reno, have onions pressed into and not thrown on top of the meat. the authentic process allows both to be cooked together simultaneously, which changes the flavor profile, texture and moisture content of the meat. proclaiming it anonionburger is misleading and is akin to calling a sparkling wine from gotebo champagne. this is just a burger and in a world full of burgers, tucker's fails.

the most important component of a burger is the meat that is used. it should be fresh and flavorful. tucker's meat is of low quality and seems to be a leaner ground beef product. this meat to fat ratio results in a burger that quickly drys out and is lacking in flavor. on two separate occasions, i have unfortunately encountered chunks of unchewable gristle in the patty and my burgers are often times overcooked to the point i have been unable to finish them.

meat should also be proportionate to the bun. the tucker's bun is too thick both in size and density. this results in an unbalanced sandwich that one has to struggle through. even the double "onion burger" leaves one with a mouth full of dry bread that has no business housing a burger and which no amount of condiments can save.

in addition to the burger, there are significant issues with the preparation, consistency and flavor of their fries and lemonade among other things. the price they charge for the products they serve is a shame, especially in light of quality.

in the end, i have eaten at two of the locations numerous times in the past few years. i have desperately wanted to have a positive dining experience, as they are conveniently located near my home and office. each time i have eaten there, i have come away disappointed and regret allowing them yet another chance to redeem themselves by finally serve me a halfway decent burger.

they’re a fast-casual restaurant that dishes uponionburgers with beef and turkey patties, hand cut fries made in peanut oil, shakes, lemonade, and beer, which is not something you’ll find from any fast-food burger joint. what else you won’t find at a fast-food chain: a juicy and delicious burger like they made at tucker’s.

tucker’sonionburgers on 23rd street in okc was easy to find, the parking was decent (we got there right at 11 am when it opened), and the service was friendly and very efficient. the deal there is you walk up to the front counter, the menu is on the wall. you tell the counter staff what you want, and give them your name. s/he writes down your order and your name on a bag, and they tell you to “listen for your name.” when your name is called, you go to the counter and get your food in the bag with your name and order on it. pretty easy system, and we got our lunch within about 5 minutes (which was a good thing because i skipped breakfast to have this lunch!). and even though the restaurant filled up quickly after we arrived, the service for the other customers seemed to move just as swiftly.

delicious. have been wanting to try tucker's for a while, glad we got a chance to go today (friday, 2/28) for lunch - it did not disappoint.
the two of us got there right when it opened at 11 (at the 23rd street location). easy ordering, and only a five minute wait for our food: oneonionhamburger with cheese and pickles, fries, and a soda; oneonionturkey burger, fries, and a strawberry shake.
the burgers are big, fresh, and the buns are great. the turkey burger was all natural, juicy, and the onions embedded in both truly make them "yum on a bun." shoestring hand cut fries were excellent, but we could have split the order and been fine. strawberry shake was thick, had nice chunks of strawberry in it, and delicious.
the place got busy pretty quickly, but other folks seemed to be getting their food in a timely manner, too. will go back.

i keep reading about how expensive this place is and how average it is. it's the same price as every other burger place. the burgers are always hot and delicious. nic's is the best around. period... but if you can't work your schedule around nic's then tuckers and s&b burgers are honestly the next best thing. my seventy year old mother likes them for god's sake. so go get anonionburger made on bread from one of our local bakeries already.

tucker'sonionburgers is no s&b. tucker'sonionburgers are edible. they won't make you vomit or give you the runs. beyond that they are the most boring, mediocre, and bland burgers in okc. the decor is like a hospital. who wants to eat burgers in a hospital. the ketchup makes you feels like it's a bloody emergency room, so that not appetizing. then you get your food when the girl behind the counter is yelling like "hey guy", "here's your burgers". so you sit down to eat your burgers and they look terrible. if you're eating in a burger joint and they still have to wrap your burger in paper it's like making love with the lights off. s&b burger joint would never do that. then you go ahead and eat the thing, and you're like "what the heck". what turkey made this thing. i ask you how can a freshly made burger be done so badly that it tastes like it was microwaved. i'm an oklahoman and i love oklahoma, and this place makes me angry that it serves this kind of junk to my fellow oklahominids. get it right folks it's an insult to say this place is on par with in-n-out burger. five guys is crap, but in-n-out? tuckers is missing a key ingredient in the in-n-out burger experience and that's the stench that follows you out of the restaurant. everybody who's had in-n-out burgers knows you end-up with a distinct bo from eating their burgers. tucker'sonionburgers might give you gas from all the onions but no cool signature stink. if you're thinking about having burgers at tucker'sonionburgers, get your head straight ya turkey and go over to s&b burger joint. s&b burger joint is the best in okc.

ate here for lunch on saturday. i was trying to remember what i ordered? oh yeah, anonionburger. double. with fries. burger came out nice and hot. i was expecting the burger to be good since it's the only item they serve and it didn't disappoint. lots of flavor and the bun is better than average. the fries were excellent as well. kind of took me back to my childhood when the small-town drugstores had a burger counter. very nice food. minor inconveniences: food is served in a paper bag which i really can't stand, very greasy which is unfortunate because i won't be able to eat there very often. again, minor. good food. good experience.
