the best!!!. being 8 months pregnant and in search of "the perfect local burger joint", nothing was satisfying my needs. until today. i only had a single patty burger but it was enormous! i could have easily shared it. we did share an order offriesand that was a wise choice. everything about the burger is perfect. the bun is fresh and homemade, the veggies are ripe and fresh, and the meat is hormone free and from happy grass fed cows. its absolutely delicious! try it and you will not be disappointed!

review. tucker's serves up one of the best onion burgers in okc, along with terrificfriesand milk shakes. their strawberry lemonade is also excellent. they are also really good about filling special orders. we will sometimes order our burgers "bunless" and tucker's will make terrific lettuce-wrapped burgers for us. service is not the fastest, but the burgers are made fresh.

tucker's in an onion burger spot in the tradition of the acclaimed joints in el reno.  i'm not a big fan of the "smashed" style of cooking onion burgers so tucker's may not work for me anyway but i saw good reviews and i usually like the "good egg" group places.  i prefer sautéed or caramelized onion and i really like to be able to taste something other than overcooked onions which is what i found here.  you know, the beef, cheese, pickles, jalapenos, mustard etc.  all i tasted was the onions and i tasted them all night.  thefrieswere the thin type and could have been crispier but basically okay.  there are many great burger places in okc....s&b's, earls rib, irma's, the garage and nic's to name a few so you really don't settle.  the facilities were neat and clean and the staff was great.  i'll try again and if they can make my burger to order i'll amend my review.

this place is an above average onion burger joint. in a state and region flooded with great onion burger joints, tucker's still makes a name for themselves. they get their onions a little on the well done side and i dig that. theirfriesare greasy in all the right ways. they have local and organic options for burgers if that's your thing. on a housekeeping note, they use those ionizing water sprayers that clean the tables without chemicals which is nice since they are constantly cleaning around you (non-intrusively) while you dine. its also nice to have such a good burger joint in this area of town.

tucker's is a trendy restaurant concept that fools people by cleverly marketing the notion they are serving "onion burgers". in reality, they sell burgers with onions on top. a real onion burger, such as those found in el reno, have onions pressed into and not thrown on top of the meat. the authentic process allows both to be cooked together simultaneously, which changes the flavor profile, texture and moisture content of the meat. proclaiming it an onion burger is misleading and is akin to calling a sparkling wine from gotebo champagne. this is just a burger and in a world full of burgers, tucker's fails.

the most important component of a burger is the meat that is used. it should be fresh and flavorful. tucker's meat is of low quality and seems to be a leaner ground beef product. this meat to fat ratio results in a burger that quickly drys out and is lacking in flavor. on two separate occasions, i have unfortunately encountered chunks of unchewable gristle in the patty and my burgers are often times overcooked to the point i have been unable to finish them.

meat should also be proportionate to the bun. the tucker's bun is too thick both in size and density. this results in an unbalanced sandwich that one has to struggle through. even the double "onion burger" leaves one with a mouth full of dry bread that has no business housing a burger and which no amount of condiments can save.

in addition to the burger, there are significant issues with the preparation, consistency and flavor of theirfriesand lemonade among other things. the price they charge for the products they serve is a shame, especially in light of quality.

in the end, i have eaten at two of the locations numerous times in the past few years. i have desperately wanted to have a positive dining experience, as they are conveniently located near my home and office. each time i have eaten there, i have come away disappointed and regret allowing them yet another chance to redeem themselves by finally serve me a halfway decent burger.

they’re a fast-casual restaurant that dishes up onion burgers with beef and turkey patties, hand cutfriesmade in peanut oil, shakes, lemonade, and beer, which is not something you’ll find from any fast-food burger joint. what else you won’t find at a fast-food chain: a juicy and delicious burger like they made at tucker’s.

delicious. have been wanting to try tucker's for a while, glad we got a chance to go today (friday, 2/28) for lunch - it did not disappoint.
the two of us got there right when it opened at 11 (at the 23rd street location). easy ordering, and only a five minute wait for our food: one onion hamburger with cheese and pickles, fries, and a soda; one onion turkey burger, fries, and a strawberry shake.
the burgers are big, fresh, and the buns are great. the turkey burger was all natural, juicy, and the onions embedded in both truly make them "yum on a bun." shoestring hand cutfrieswere excellent, but we could have split the order and been fine. strawberry shake was thick, had nice chunks of strawberry in it, and delicious.
the place got busy pretty quickly, but other folks seemed to be getting their food in a timely manner, too. will go back.

great burgers. i tried tucker's last week . while i enjoy my food spicy, i was warned about the jalapenos but i figured i could handle it since i often eat them. wooweee, it was on fire. next time i will opt for 1/2 an order of peppers. i got the smallest burger, with cheese, and raw onions instead of grilled, friesand a cup of lemonade. it was more than enough food. everything was delicious. the bun is superb, and just the perfect wrap for the meat. the lemonade is homemade. i did go at an off time so not too much of a wait. will definitely be back.

good burger...wish there was a kid-size one. burgers andfrieswere good. so are the shakes. the menu is very limited, as has been stated before. be aware, there is no kid size burger, so we had to order a full size burger for the 3 year old.

ate here for lunch on saturday. i was trying to remember what i ordered? oh yeah, an onion burger. double. with fries. burger came out nice and hot. i was expecting the burger to be good since it's the only item they serve and it didn't disappoint. lots of flavor and the bun is better than average. thefrieswere excellent as well. kind of took me back to my childhood when the small-town drugstores had a burger counter. very nice food. minor inconveniences: food is served in a paper bag which i really can't stand, very greasy which is unfortunate because i won't be able to eat there very often. again, minor. good food. good experience.
