truluck's ocean's finest seafood and crab

this is definitely date night or business vip dinning. the food is good. theserviceis acceptable. i'd suggest this place for slow dining or special friends in town. the wine list is well appointed so be prepared to dine and linger. girls, snappy casual is the dress code. piano will be playing. it's swanky.

greatserviceand extensive wine list. my husband had the ceviche and sea bass, loved them both; and i had the vegetarian falafel. it was delicious and nice to have a vegetarian selection at a seafood restaurant. we will definitely be back.

it's pricey but oh my is it worth it! with the whole classic not overdone look on the interior, coupled with the very goodserviceand excitingly tasteful food, it surely made my trip worth the $150 check for 4.

wonderful find. while visiting southlake, tx my husband and i ate a wonderful meal at truluck's. without exaggeration it was one of the best meals we've had in a long time. i had the sesame tuna and my husband had halibut. both meals were cooked perfectly. theservicewas amazing, very efficient and friendly, but not overdone; the restaurant manager stopped by our table to ask about our meal. next time we are in southlake we will definitely be eating at truluck's.

when money is not an issue.... for the folks in southlake, colleyville, westlake and other well to-do neighborhoods, the food andserviceat truluck's in my opinion is the one of the best upscale restaurants when money is not an issue.

having traveled around the country for almost 15 years in sales, i have had the pleasure of eating for free at some of the best restaurants..

what i have found is that great food comes in all shapes, sizes and prices. a quick way to judge how good a place is is by looking at the parking lot and the line at the door.

i would strongly recommend that anyone looking for a place to try for a special occasion that they go to truluck's. you won't be disappointed.

the best deal here is to order off the date night menu. for about $35 per person, it will give you the taste of what they are all about. (your choice of soup or salad, choice of entrée and shared dessert.)

a fav in dfw area. i love going to this restaurant when i am in dfw. great wine list and have happened on some good specials there.
if you are a dessert fan, ask to see the dessert tray before you choose your main course! the date night specials can help pare down the cost. everything i have had there has been amazing. my favorites are the scottish salmon and the jalapeno salmon. dining companions have loved the crab claws and miso sea bass. i highly recommend the chocolate bag or ice cream "cake" for dessert. btw, theservicehas been great each time i've been there.
