. tasty rolls and the green chilli corn were great. thesteakcame as requested with the quality of meat very good. had the small filet and was a bit pricey , but fair for the quality. i'll come back!!

greatsteakbut they shouldn't use the iron pressers to cook them it lets out the juices that make it tender.they have great service and amazing house beers. my favorite is the windmill wheat

this was a greatsteakand i loved the honey-pepper seasoning on it. the rolls were warm and delicious. the service was also very good. baked potato was a little skimpy on toppings. otherwise, everything was top-notch.

great menu and service! love the pama-tini, fried green chilis and grab the bull by the hornssteak(cut your own steak) awesome! entertainment/music wonderful too.

very good most of the time. we go to the triple j regularly and about 85% of the time, the service and food is excellent. every once in awhile, our steaks are overcooked or the service is not very good, but not often enough to keep us away. we like the steaks, salmon and pork. the chicken friedsteakis usually good, too. it's a nice atmosphere, but if full, then it's hard to hear yourselves talk.

overrated...... my wife and i dined here this evening celebrating our daughter's 21st birthday. after waiting in excess of 1 hour, we found the food and service no better than some of the regularsteakchains found on every interstate, in fact, i prefer those chains over this place at a greatly reduced cost. after complaining that a medium requestedsteakwas too rare, our server chuckled and walked away. nothing else was done about it. the night was ruined after our server decided to bus the table while 2 of us were still eating our dinners. after i told him to let us finish, he continued to clean off the table until i firmly told him to stop and asked him to send over a manager. the woman that came over to the table was no better. in fact, praising the server as one of their most sought after waiters and their best trainer. i wonder if this was her son. she continued that this is a pet peeve of hers to have a clean table even if it comes at the expense of upsetting their customers. clearly, she doesn't seem to get it that without her customers, they wouldn't continue in business. this is one of the few reviews i have ever written in more than 40 years of dining out. it just infuriates me that customer service like this is alive and practiced at this supposedly 1st class restaurant.

first trip: wrong sides with entree, no bread, overcookedsteakand extremely greasy chips for the queso.
second trip: greasy chips again, very salty bread, rude and un accommodating server, bad caesar salad and bad chicken fried steak! how do you mess up caesar and cfs? will never go back!

though the wait for their brews was slow, the meal made up for it. i got their 12oz miss kitty katt ribeye with sweet potato fries and fried green beans.

thesteakitself was seasoned just right and very tender. i very much like crisp fries with mysteakand these were great. i was surprised by the green beans - perfectly fried and not oily at all.

the on-tap choices weren't bad at all either. very tasty and complemented the meal.

definitely returning in the future. they had some attractive desserts i didn't get around to during this visit.

i like it, but. it s a little hit or miss. i have loved it and the service in the past. i went there with my mom and aunt recently. thesteakin my salad had so much gristle i couldn't eat it. the waitress asked how it was and i told her. she said she was sorry. what happened to having a manager over and making sure things were right?!? yes, i paid for asteaksalad i couldn't eat... not thrilled. i'll give them one more chance;)

had the bailey.steakwas good, service was good and the house brewed beers were very good. would definitely return.

steak and sides. i have not had asteakthis good since leaving the st.louis area years ago. it was cooked to perfection, quite tender and full of flavor. the side of sweet potato custard was sensational..the service was superior to anything i have had in years, you didn't have to ask to more tea, etc., and there was always someone there to make sure to had what you wanted..and..you weren't rushed to eat and leave...

greatsteakand service. i went here recently for my birthday dinner and i was in for a treat. i had always heard of this place, but had never been since i've been in lubbock.

mysteakwas perfectly cooked and seasoned and their bread is my new favorite restaurant bread.

the service was fast and our waitress was very sweet.

try their dessert. it's wonderful.

disappointed (could be good, but wasn't). i was very disappointed with my experience at triple j. things started off smoothly, the waiter was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. however, things went downhill once we received our meal. someone besides our waiter (i am assuming a manager) brought the food and it looked great. my dish, the honey & pepper ribeye was great. however, my friend, who ordered a medium 7 oz filet cut into hissteakto find that it was practically raw. our waiter, who it appeared had been assigned too many tables, could not be found for at least ten minutes, and when we finally flagged him down, he agreed that thesteakwas terribly undercooked. he took it back, and brought the samesteakthat had been recooked back about 5 minutes later (it was cooked, but didn't taste good), and by this time i was finished. our waiter, then could not be found for another 15 minutes. we finally got our checks and got out. no manager came over to talk to us about our experience, and no compensation for the experience was offered.

great atmosphere!. the thing that stood out to me was the casual and laid-back atmosphere. thesteakis pretty tasty, so i would suggest ordering that.

not bad. the gravy on the choppedsteakwas the best. chicken friedsteakwas just ok. service, cocktails, and atmosphere were nice.
