i like it, but. it s a little hit or miss. i have loved it and the service in the past. i went there with my mom and aunt recently. the steak in my salad had so much gristle i couldn't eat it. the waitress asked how it was and i told her. she said she was sorry. what happened to having a manager over and making sure things were right?!? yes, i paid for a steak salad i couldn't eat... not thrilled. i'll give them one more chance;)

had to wait 5+ min to be seated. 15 min to get our drink order. staff said they were confused as to who was over our section. to top it off one of our order was wrong which we had to be sent back. on the bright side the food was good.... once we got it.....

had the bailey. steak was good, service was good and the house brewed beers were very good. would definitely return.

steak and sides. i have not had a steak this good since leaving the st.louis area years ago. it was cooked to perfection, quite tender and full of flavor. the side of sweet potato custard was sensational..the service was superior to anything i have had in years, you didn't have to ask to more tea, etc., and there was always someone there to make sure to had what you wanted..and..you weren't rushed to eat and leave...

best prime rib in lbk. ive tried out everyone's prime rib here in lubbock, and they have the best. unfortunately, they only serve it fridays and saturdays and it tends to run out quickly. microbrews are ok, i wouldnt say theyre great but sometimes they have a few good ones.

not friendly to people that have gluten allergies. the beer drinkers were not impressed by the invoice brews. never even tried the food.

great steak and service. i went here recently for my birthday dinner and i was in for a treat. i had always heard of this place, but had never been since i've been in lubbock.

my steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned and their bread is my new favorite restaurant bread.

the service was fast and our waitress was very sweet.

try their dessert. it's wonderful.

j=just can't get it right. as a big fan of lubbock's depot district and someone who goes out of the way to eat downtown, i've not yet had a fulfilling, good experience at the triple j. after the first trip i've only gone when others suggested meeting there. even for just drinks i've been disappointed. the food is not even average for a casual dining place, the service has been bad each and every time.

i wish they'd been a truly good steakhouse but they are not and are not sure what business they are in: bar food and beer?, steaks?, pizza? - very unfocused from top to bottom and poor execution all around.

you should try this place!. this is by far my favorite place in lubbock to eat. nothing on the menu is bad, everything is good. from the salads to the pizzas to the steaks. big yum! the staff are friendly and attentive and fun to talk with. their drinks are good too. the atmosphere is funky, antique and definitely not a chain decor. love it, love it. if you decide not to go, thats good. more room for me and my friends! :d

great place to eat and drink!!!. we actually came here on the advice of a waiter from gordito's. he raved about the beer and food, and he was right. aubrey was our server, and took excellent care of us. we started off with the choppy bob nachos, layers of bbq beef, jalapenos, white queso and a sauce that i couldn't figure out, but it was great. i had the prime rib, rare, and it was excellent. cooked to perfection with all the trimmings. for desert, the bread pudding, pecans, caramel and lots of tummy aches later! but good ones... this is a great place to eat!!!

didn't want my business. i am a business traveler, so i usually try and find a spot around the bar. i walked in the front door and did not receive a greeting from anybody. i decided to head bah ton the bar area where most of the seats at the bar were full. i grabbed a table and sat and waited and waited and waited. i went to the bar to see if i had to order at the bar or if there was a server. he didn't know, asked his friend and i was told that i needed to see the hostess. i grabbed my stuff and left. btw, there still was no hostess up front when i left.

really not happy with our meals. my husband and i went last week and both had steaks. we ordered medium, but what we received was very well done and very thin steaks. we pointed it out to the waiter that they were well done, but they weren't replaced. we decided to eat them, because we had to be somewhere shortly after dinner, but would not recommend returning. this may be a good place for beer, but we weren't drinking beer.

hit or miss. i love the food that triple j has to offer. the service is really hit or miss. sometimes they are very quick and friendly, and other times they are very slow to help you and do not seem to want you there. overall, the food is enough to make me come back and cross my fingers for good service.
