the quality offoodhere is excellent.. but the only unsatisfactory element of this restaurant is the quantity. very less quantity for.slightly high price. the mango cheesecake here is the best i've tasted.

a very nice hotel in big palace. we went for dinner at tiger trail, ambience was very nice.foodwas not that much good according to cost. and the service was very slow. overall experience was good. must try once.

tiger trails was recommended to me by a very good friend of mine. i visited the place solely forfoodthe history of the place. there is no doubt about the ambience andfoodof the restaurant. the place screams old mysore, it has retained the charm the city stands for. i loved their mushroom curry and paneer tikka starter. only suggestion is include a complimentary serving for customers.

stopped visiting this place after experiencing horrible service.foodis great, but the staff are extremely slow and when you check the status of your order some even reply rude.the worst time to be there is when there are foreigners present. the staff don't even look at and ignore you.

royal orchid metropole has a rich heritage of the british design cues with high ceilings,wood all over and we stayed here so we had the breakfast buffet,spread of the buffet and desserts was not vast, taste of thefood& desserts was average. overall a satisfying experience kudos for the ambience and heritage of the place!
buffet included:
• milkshake / smoothie / health juice

• south indian breakfast

• continental breakfast

• indian breakfast

• cut fruits

• cold cuts

• dosa live counter

• egg station

• waffles 

• oriental counter

• dessert

• breakfast rolls

this place has a good ambiance. thats it.
its overly priced andfoodis bland doesn't have any taste.if they have mentioned dishes like malabar fish curry.it should atleast have coconut taste.but no.we felt like we were having soup with fish.i felt they have maintained theirfoodtaste according to foreign taste.even for indian dishes.

it’s a wonderful place you feel very good but thefoodis too expensive especially ala carte is too much, i was over charged for rotis 119 rs per tandori roti even 5 star hotel doesn’t ghar he this much for just a simple tandori roti.. they should think on this it was not a good experience after food.

it has very unique kind of charm ,i had been twice ,buffet lunch is best, service is extremely good, they have both indoor and outdoor seating. at night it looks more charm with the lightnings, open cool breeze with candle light and goodfoodat the table what more can you expect ,
what amazes is live counter offoodfor lunch .. the quality offoodis excellent,overall indeed goodfoodand great ambiance

thefoodis good, but quantity is very less for the price they charge. they charged us 18% gst, where everyone are charging 5% gst. that is day light robbery. when confronted, he said we were wrong. customer service is awful. the service is very very slow. they really need to improve on that. one very good thing about this restuarant is the ambience.

the place is overpriced for a buffet. the ambience too is not that great.
starters had chicken tikka and chicken dish. veg had baby corn n fried gobi.

main course had palak paneer, daal, chicken biryani, mutton, fish, pasta and noodles. foodwas average.

sweets were awful. chocolate brownie was a mush. ice cream was all liquid. nothing much in sweets.

i really enjoyed the ambience here in metropole. however thefoodwasn't up to the mark. chicken was cold and sweets weren't fresh. the service was good enough.

have been a regular to this place since its reopening in 2004.
thefoodhas almost been tasting the same and consistent. to compliment greatfoodthe service is also equivalently great.
i have to thank the entire restaurant team for taking such good care of me and my guests.
the ambience, quality offoodand service is one of the best obe can get in the town.

if you are looking for an awesome meal at mysore with the touch of heritage at the city of palace then not to be missed.

had been with my team for lunch and the spread of buffet was so much that most of the dishes even i liked but couldn’t have as i was fully loaded with the amazing taste and the beauty of the services dedicatedly.

you will get authentic south indianfoodespecially when it’s al-cart orders. we wanted to have lemon rice and it was just prepared awesome.
