crap experience. crap attitude. took over a hour and half to serve most of the dishes ordered. non-alcoholic drinks took atleast 40mins to get ready. most of the staff did not give two f**k's about any of this.

food quality is exceptional and they have great variety starting from north indian to chinese to continental. too many options to choose from. good tandoor grilled options.

the quality of food here is excellent.. but the only unsatisfactory element of this restaurant is the quantity. very less quantity for.slightly high price. the mango cheesecake here is the best i've tasted.

quite ambience and good food .good place for families. bit expensive but you can enjoy. food quality and variety was good. really loved this place. good place to spend your evening.

ambience is nice. ull love the royal feel and the old instruments, swing and the old style lamps etc etc. but the people at the restaurant also behave like they r very old. they dont bother much to do fast service. had to wait for one hour just to get my order of main course. spent 3 hours to have my dinner. all of us lost our appetite just because of the long waiting period. they have not improved even after getting so many negative reviews about the slow service.

a very nice hotel in big palace. we went for dinner at tiger trail, ambience was very nice. food was not that much good according to cost. and the service was very slow. overall experience was good. must try once.

beautiful british architecture with great indian food. good food, better ambience and good service (unlike some of the previous reviews i found the service fast and good). mutton biriyani and achari chicken kebab were great ( i hope they still are). it's a place one should dine in when in mysore.
note: here you should always opt for indian food.

definitely a place to be recommended for the quality and taste of the food, very courteous and polite staff, buffet is not served at this point of time due to to covid restrictions.

tiger trails was recommended to me by a very good friend of mine. i visited the place solely for food the history of the place. there is no doubt about the ambience and food of the restaurant. the place screams old mysore, it has retained the charm the city stands for. i loved their mushroom curry and paneer tikka starter. only suggestion is include a complimentary serving for customers.

the place is beautiful, but service is very bad. they do no heed to the customer's need, we waited for over 30 mins and they didn't even serve water after assigning the table.

had our breakfast here and were happy with the buffet spread. made to order dosa and uthappam are good. the egg stand also makes good omelette and scrambled eggs. service is good

stopped visiting this place after experiencing horrible service. food is great, but the staff are extremely slow and when you check the status of your order some even reply rude.the worst time to be there is when there are foreigners present. the staff don't even look at and ignore you.

totally disappointed. went for a lunch buffet on a weekday with lots of expectations. but came with a heavy heart as i was not at happy with the servings with the items that was in the buffet. surprised that there is no starters and no mutton items. veg. items are very few. chicken dum biriyani is not up to the mark. even the desserts section was dull with not many items. only watermelon, papaya and pine apple served in the fruit bowl. only 1 variety of icecream (vanilla). dal fry was like watery dish. total disappointment and waste of money. felt like waste of time and money. only thing that was good was the ambiance.  the rest is bogus.

royal orchid metropole has a rich heritage of the british design cues with high ceilings,wood all over and we stayed here so we had the breakfast buffet,spread of the buffet and desserts was not vast, taste of the food & desserts was average. overall a satisfying experience kudos for the ambience and heritage of the place!
buffet included:
• milkshake / smoothie / health juice

• south indian breakfast

• continental breakfast

• indian breakfast

• cut fruits

• cold cuts

• dosa live counter

• egg station

• waffles 

• oriental counter

• dessert

• breakfast rolls

giving 1 star since i can't select 0.. one of the worst buffets.. the soup was ice cold and so were the starters.. we were 4 of us.. but only 2 ppl were brave enough to continue eating. the veg oriental salad was spoilt.. and it was giving a bad smell! pls don't go if you wish to have a healthy tummy after eating!! biggg 👎👎👎👎
