like eating @ home. liked this place because it was down home, friendly, good & had a live musician. not outrageously great but better than chain restaurants! we should support local places so we retain some local flavor instead of being overrun w/ more generic nasty places like olive garden.

nice little place.. stopped in for breakfast on our way to houston.. great small town atmosphere.. food was good.. pancakes were great!

oh my goodness good. had the crab cake salad and shared the choc and salted carmel bread pudding. both were amazingly tasty. service was good.

dinner. my wife and i have had dinner at the porch several times over the past two years and the food has always been good. the service can be very very slow. really enjoy the homemade desserts, they are delicious. the burgers, onion rings, fried catfish, and pork chops were also tasty. we are entertainment card users so it makes our meals at the porch very reasonable. probably would not return without the discount only because we have other similar restaurants nearer our home that are just as good or better. if you're in the area its worth stopping by.

worst. service. ever. went for breakfast, was seated at a table that was filthy!!! after ten minutes of waiting, a lady came by and told us to move. immediately, someone else was seated there. we were ignored for 10 or so more minutes before some other girl who apparently wasn't working in that section asked for our drink order. 15 minutes later, we finally ordered food. took 45 minutes to bring out 2 omlelets. the table next to us had the rude woman who moved us as a waitress; she got their order wrong twice. stay away. this place is awful!

judy. this restaurant has had some great improvements--the homemade desserts and great home-cooked meals are delicious!!my very favorite is the grilled shrimp and grilled veggies(the best i've eaten)my husband loves liver and onions, and it is the most tender he's had.large portions, great friendly management and waiters. super hometown atmosphere makes it a great place for your breakfast, lunch or dinner!!highly recommended!!
we go there often!!music on weekends, but check the schedule!!

good food, horrible service. i. just waited fourty minutes for a simple ham and cheese omelet and finally had to cancel my order because i had to leave. if you have all day to waste waiting around on their incompetent wait staff, then go ahead because the food is great, otherwise stay away.

best thing ever!!! now they deliver!!. my wife and i just love the porch and eat there every chance we can get. since we both work full time plus we have three kids, we can't get down to old town as much as we would like. but last week we found the porch uses a service called burleson to go (burlesontogo.com) to deliver for them. my wife was so excited now we can relax at home and order it in 2-3 nights per week. way to go porch!

not bad..... met parents (from grandview) for dinner. enjoyed the atmosphere, food good but not great. better than a chain for sure. will definitely give them another try, my husband liked it fine, also and was glad he didn't have to go all the way to grandview.

keep coming back!. we live in burleson and were disappointed in the choices for a decent breakfast, the usual ihop and dennys are packed and way over priced, besides the fast food you have the elk which is hit or miss. then we found the porch, and man what a difference and a great breakfast! the kids and grandkids all love the food and the prices, the burgers compare with chapps and cheaper than chilis or applebees, but don't order it expecting mcdonalds or you will be disappointed! pork chops, cf steak, fried fish is all wonderful, and of course the cheesecake and desserts are awesome,

enjoyed our dinner: pork chops were tender & great flavor! mash potatoes a bit too peppery for me. great biscuit/rolls- very dense. pecan pie was very fresh as was the coconut pie. converted old house with great family dining.

the porch provided our thanksgiving luncheon for a group of 19 people. the service was superb, the food was fantastic and the desserts were to die for. you guys did a great job! can't wait for the next party we have...we'll be back for more!

really? when it was our place my wife and i enjoyed breakfast there at least once a month. had one bite of an over priced recently frozen tuna filet and wondered how long this place will last? service was bad and the food worse, maybe focus on the menu instead of live entertainment - are you a restaurant or a bar?
