the atmosphere was very friendly, as well were the staff. the food was average and nothing special. a good place to go for a once-in-a-while breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

ticky-tacky stuff that cost you customers. i have been a weekly customer at the porch. the menu says...senior menu...$5 and chose one side. i ordered the chicken salad and a side of fruit. we were charged an extra $2 for the side. oh! "the salad doesn't come with a side." well...since the menus doesn't say that either you tell the customer up front thats extra or you say "my bad" and fix it. thats called a wait staff trained for customer service and a management devoted to customer service. i love the food at this place but this is the kind of tick-tacky stuff that drives me nuts and drives customers away.

tasty burger and fun attmosphere. the porch has been on my burger bucket list for some time. it's a huge trek to get here. i happen to be in the downtown area, so i finally stopped to try this burger. this is my 45th burger place evaluation. it falls in my top 1/3. it's a good burger.

the bun is buttery and holds together even when the egg and other juices run out. the bacon had decent flavor, but i wish it were stronger tasting to join the rest of the burger. the tomato was flat, i ended up taking it out. the meat was just right. it was pink in the middle with a little juice running out. i took out a piece to try the meat stand alone. it had a nice charcoal smoke taste. the mayo was there, but added no flavor. to make this a great burger, the bacon needs more flavor. the tomato needs to be savory and not bland. nix the mayo and create something that brings it all together.

attmosphere was awesome. i love the hardwood look. parking outside was a nightmare. plan to walk or pay a valet in one of the many lots. the biggest downside to my whole visit was the price. the burger and fries, which were good too, was $15. add one beer and a tip and the whole tab comes to $24. that's a bit much for a decent burger.

crazy good burgers. only downfall of the porch is it is not closer to my house! fun place to hang with friends.

best place in burleson to eat breakfast. we like the home feeling while there. we sit on the porch when ever we can. the wait staff is incredible. the food is always hot, fresh, and timed well.

great atmosphere and location. the interior is very warm and cozy. service was attentive and friendly. the tartar was great and i like that it changes up often. the ribeye really is a treat there and locally raised. also be sure to save room for the bread pudding.

this place is ok & i will probably try them again but i am not near as smitten with it as most of the other reviewers. i ordered heuvos rancheros, cut the pinto beans, add cheese. they forgot to cut the beans, also forgot to add cheese. the hot sauce was not that good to me; they make it themselves so they are proud of it. i had to ask for hot sauce for heuvos rancheros which was weird. also the tortillas were corn not flour. taste of eggs & potatos was above average for a down home restaurant. service was fine other than forgetting a few things. i think my advice is mainly just stick to the lunch or dinner menu & hopefully it will work out.

great omelets. i've only eaten there on sunday mornings and have found the greek omelet delightful. the service is adequate and the ambiance typical.

first and last time. this was my first time eating at this restaurant. the service was on the ball, but the kitchen could not keep up. ordered a riveted, medium, and got a steak so rare it would've gotten up and walked away with a bandaid. the fried pickles are some of the best i've had. i'm not a pickle person. when staff was told about the discrepancy, there wasn't a manager notified or the manager doesn't care about the customer's satisfaction. i personally was not expecting a credit on the bill, but would have liked to know that someone cares.

needs improvement. after visiting the restaurants webpage, we thought this place seemed like the perfect place to take our out of town guests. the the webpage was very professional and appealing, the menu had a good selection of food with fair prices and selections, and the streaming country music was a nice touch. so we hurried over there. once we were seated, with our table directly in front of the emergency exit, with half white half yellow light bulbs shining down on us, and a light switch with out a cover plate staring at me, i couldn't help but wonder if i had been looking at a different restaurants website. the building needed some work , there was only one overworked waitress, and the food was questionable at best. the best part about our visit was that they took my brothers food off the ticket, after they messed up his order. when the manager came over and took his plate, and told us that she would go tell the cook what he had done, i couldn't help but think he wasn't the problem. i would come back only if they were taken over by new ownership. if you want good food in burleson i recommend babe's, hideout burgers, cotton patch, fuzzy's or even ihop over this place!

i went today an it seemed like it was more about the quantity than quality. eggs not cooked all the way. pancakes very dry, and and sausage was rubbery have been a few times and everytime i got it seems to get worse. wont go back

this was my first time here it was recomended by a local police officer. i love it great food.

when you gotta go..... my wife and i have been here on several occasions and the food has always been good and we've never had a complaint about the service. we like to eat on the porch when the weather permits.
today it was raining and the temp was in the mid 40s. at around noon we went in and after we ordered discovered that the bathroom was "out of order". there was no one working on the problem either. when the waitress arrived with our food, we asked if there was another restroom that we could use. she said " uhhh sort of. we kind of have one in the back, i'll ask the manager." you have got to be kidding me!!! a couple of minutes later, the waitress (a young teenage girl) returned and told us "you can use the one across the street. yea i know it's raining." what????!!!!!!! management wants us to walk across the street, to a competing restaurant, in the rain and 45 degrees, to use the bathroom???!!!! are you serious?????????? really?????????????
my wife speculated that it was because they didn't want us to see the employee bathroom or the kitchen. i have no idea why and i really don't know why they would treat their customers this way. totally inexcusable.
we made it thru our meal and immediately left vowing to never return. customer service is becoming more and more rare in today's society it seems. the porch is just another example. pathetic.

wow! what a find! chicken fried steak & eggs are wonderful. french toast one of the best ever had. coffee is good too! and, they gave us one to go...nice touch! waitresses are very sweet!
