i went again on 5/22/14 i tried their porch burger it was delicious . with a side of fries our waiter was friendly and the service wasgreat. i'm going back again :)

the porch is the best i love their porch pie. the waitress was really friendly and i definitely would go again .

i went on mothers day and it wasgreatthey gave me a rose and the service is awesome

wednesdays are the best!. so i love several things they offer, but i love the wednesday special!greatbbq sandwich with amazing onion rings! i go there almost every week with my best friend and for $4.99 we get a lot of food! definitely recommend going!

they havegreatbuild-your-own omelettes all day long! i had one with bacon cheese and jalapeños. it was delicious!

the service wasgreatand i had plenty of time to read after my meal.

i will enjoy return visits.

the porch recently catered my daughter's wedding.  it was outdoors with no electricity, no water, and 500 guests and they were outstanding!  great job andgreatfood!so grateful for their assistance and advice from start to finish!

this place is amazing,greatatmosphere! the staff is so friendly, and funny. i tried the sweet multigrain pancakes with bananas...fantastic! i can't wait to go back.

we have visited the porch several times and thoroughly enjoyed it every time.  from the time you walk in, you feel welcome.  the service was efficient and friendly.  the real star is the food.  quality ingredients equalsgreatfood.  we've enjoyed several amazing breakfast platters and lunch.  a hidden gem in mansfield.

afraid to eat. went into the restaurant and they wouldn't serve us... guess they need to post up over the door "whites only". btw, i'm a doctor and agreatcustomer... big mistake.

first time here and really enjoyed it!!! byob is a plus for me! liver-n-onions and fried catfish were the main courses. both were top notch!! fried pickle appetizers are a meal by there self!!!!greatportions too!!! going back cause there's a lot on the menu to be savored!!

great food. i've been several times now. breakfast twice, lunch once and dinner twice. i have yet to try something that wasn't great! the roast was tender and very good, the chop steak and eggs were great. the pancakes are very fluffy. the serving sizes are huge. their spicy ranch dressing is incredible. like many of the other reviewers we try and support local businesses and we will absolutely continue to go to the porch.

on a side note - the owner wasgreatto us. always polite and always stops by the table to say hello. you can tell a couple of the servers are not as experienced as the others but even so we have never had any issues with the staff.

user reviews. tonight i wanted to try a new (to me) restaurant that was close to home. using urbanspoon i found this quaint restaurant called the porch and, after reading a little bit about it and what's served there, i decided to try it out. as i walked in, i was happily greeted by the host (bonus points there), and when i told him that this was my rookie visit to the porch, told me that i'd be back after trying their food (turns out he was right). i saw their burgers and wasn't really in the mood for one, but my waiter suggested i have a breakfast item (or "brinner" as he called it), i took him up on it. the pancakes were thick, delicious, and filling. i purposely didn't finish them to leave some room for the chicken fried bacon (you heard it right, folks, chicken fried bacon). of course it was tasty but i didn't want to eat 'til i was bloated so i took some home for later. overall i had agreatexperience there and will be back again.

awesome!. heard of a small place servinggreatfood with a smile. decided to stop in and i was not disappointed. started with the chicken chili nachos with the home made salsa. one word delicious! ordered the porch burger and when it came to the table i was shocked at how much i was getting for my money. everything on this burger was fresh and cooked perfectly. so now on to dessert. had a slice of cheese cake and it was rich and creamy just like agreatcheese cake should be. all in all it wasgreatfoodgreatservice and a return visit guaranteed.

this is a very good restaurant, and a welcome addition to the mansfield diner scene. it is far superior to the nearby awfulness of joe's and the inconsistency of our place.
eggs florentine had perfectly poached eggs,greatbacon, and very nice holland aide. solid home fries and nice pancakes accompanied. the grilled poblano burger is wonderful, especially with thegreatonion rings. blueberry muffin french toast is killer.
