so-so food for an expensive price. my boyfriend and i went here on friday night for a nice dinner out. we planned on an expensive dinner but this food was mediocre for an expensive price. i got the lobster tail and the seasoning that they douse it with over-powered the flavor of the lobster. it was not terrible food but for that price, i will definitely go somewhere else.

privey, but real good. went there for a business meeting, so i was not worried about cost. the place has great food, professional ambiance during the weekday. the oyster were to die for!
great food, fish extremely fresh (well, that is expected in san diego)

my lobster was very under cooked. it had more of a consistency of an oyster than lobster. was extremely disappointing all around.

know before you go!. we had a reservation here for a sept sunday night. the place was packed. we waited 30-45 mins for our table and things started off great. we ordered a bottle of wine (white) and appetizers. still good. then the waitress comes to take our dinner order..but first she list all the seafood entrees that they have sold out of for the night. we ordered steaks, lobsters, & crab cakes. when our food finally arrived the restaurant was nearly empty. finally, she took a dessert order from 1 of the 5 of us and turned on her heel and walked away. never bothering to take additional dessert orders until we flagged her down to request such. summary of the dinner was sad, slow service and even sadder seafood choices with a very hefty price tag.

fine dining at its best. great place for seafood. everything is very fresh. the crab cake is worth $17 so get it! loved our food and loved my company even more!

one of the best downtown. the fresh seafood menu is extensive and there is also a good selection of non-seafood entrees for those that aren't big fish eaters. the jumbo lump crab cake appetizer is the best i've had, and i also recommend the blue cheese bibb lettuce salad with apples and pecans. i ordered the wild alaskan halibut filet served "black and bleu" and it was perfect. it was a nice, thick filet that was crisp on the outside and flaky but moist on the inside.

this is an excellent seafood restaurant. a lot of choices and big portions. i had made a reservation in advance, and was greeted everytime by my name. service ws quick and my server was very courteous and well informed about the menue. food was excellent. would definitely recommend it.

this is a great place to eat. the crab cakes a magnificent! kinda $$$ but i would go back.

ok. i just want to say that the dislike isn't because i thought the place was bad. the food was ok. not great but not terrible. it was the price that made it bad. i flet like they tried to hard in the service area. if your gonna go for that whole 4 star resteraunt thing, then do it. don't make me ask you for pepper on my salad or wave you for another drink be there! especially if there are 8 people in the place. again i stress not horrible but the place goes for shine and ends up dull.

simple the best seafood you will ever have. simple… the best seafood you will ever have

freshest ingredients, best oysters in san diego and other places i been to, the plate are vast filling delicious you can pick a dish with your eyes closed and you would like it… they experiment with incredible flavors, textures, and different fish as well as seafood.. and the deserts are incredible. the services is unbelievably great, this place make you feel like your priority is you.. i gone countless times and i never had a bad experience, only when they run out of cholula hot sauce for my oysters.. but i think i can forgive them… they make it up with their attention , the elegance and design is impressive so take a date! or friends… and its not cheap… but well worth the expenses
