good food, but atmosphere needs work. went here for the firsttimeand loved the food. the atmosphere was lacking though. very very loud guitar player made the evening hard to enjoy.

the food came out quick and we were all pleasantly surprised with how good everything was. our server was very nice and attentive to our table even though she had a large party if 20 as well. my oldest daughter ordered the chicken wrap and said it was the best one she has had. i had the ricky sandwich and it was really good, and the mojo sauce was spot on, and the black beans and rice were very good as well. my youngest daughter had the kids cheese burger and when she couldn't finish it i helped her out, and even that was really good. the nexttimewe are in silver springs, we will definitely be back.

poor reviewers trick unknowing travelers.. much like roadside billboards advertising the world's largest gator or other silly attractions the poor reviewers on urban spoon lead weary travelers to the slaughter that is the mojo grill. there is no mojo here just a decent layout. in this scenario you either find the place you will always stop or a dud and i am here to tell you definatively that this firecracker shot into the air and failed miserably.

do not wastetimeor money here unless you want to see the awesome blues brothers statues. that is the lone redeeming factor of this place and honestly it looks more like jim than john.

awesome cuban!. visited mojo grill for the firsttimeyesterday and sat at the bar. it was a little dark and couldn't read the tiny menu, but fortunately i had my ipad in the car and was able to view the menu from the website. (i was told that larger menus are coming soon). there were many choices on the menu so i ordered the ceviche that i saw on the blackboard outside, just to keep me busy while i decided. it came in large bowl surrounded by salt-less(which was a nice change to the over-salted served at some chain restaurants) tortilla chips. i had to squeeze more lime on it but it was good. i then ordered the cuban sandwich with mojo sauce per bartenders recommendation. it was really fantastic! the bartenders name was ashley and she was very personable and provided great service. i will go back again.

i used to eat at major all thetimebecause of the best reviews all thetimei was jeering went and found out most of their so called great reviews online were done by none other than the employees that work there being told to do it to drum up business they had ok food but to lie to the public sorry mojos u are off of my list. the owner(rondo)?,had said that he is not concerned about john q public as a customer because he is "bigger than olive garden" right from his mouth. i mean wow for lunch i will be having soup and salad

mojo repeat. i didn't realize it was a year ago that i tried mojo's until i went to write this review, wasn't very impressed lasttimebut was ready to see how things have changed and suffice to say not much difference thistimeeither. i ordered an appetizer and it came from one server while my entrée came from another back to back. ended up bringing it back to the hotel. the mojo burger was ok, plenty of it and could barely finish it, but the soggy waffle fries were greasy and took away from the burger. the service however was very friendly and courteous. the crowd noise was very loud and made the entire experience something that i don't need, don't get me wrong i like atmosphere but patrons were literally screaming to be heard at their table guest. this acoustics needs to be addressed and took away from the experience also. sorry mojo, i wanted - was hoping for some good to review about, maybe next year?

mojo hohum. i read the reviews on here yesterday and since it was on the top of the list, thought i would give it a try. monday was all the wings you could eat special so i took the challenge. ordered a side of waffle fries. fries came out first - warm; soon turned cold before the wings came out. the wings were ok at best, but i was hungry and went for a second order trying to get some hot wings, neither order was hot in flavor, they were hot from the oven. on a scale of 1 - 10 = solid 5; had some trivia dude, screaming on the over-loud pa system, no one wanted to play.
much better wings at publix, spice them they way you want when you get them home.

mojo is a go go!. i was back visiting ocala again. thsitimei tried mojo's for dinner. ok! say what! slap yo mama! kind of good! service spot on. atmosphere perfect. food off da chain! i had the cuban. this thing was stupid good! so flavorful. the pulled seasoned pork was perfect cooked, the cheese and the cilantro were done perfectly and the mojo (pronounced mo-ho) is so good. just made the sandwich explode in your mouth. the waffle fries were cooked prefectly. this place has got it goin on. welcome to flavortown everybody! check em out!

bad memories of a special night. we went there on 3/9/13 for my son's wedding rehersal dinner. he had made the reservation more than a week before. we had a party of 18 including 2 children and 2 infants. when we got there (on time),we were told we would be waiting a while as the seats that were supposed to be for us would be needed for a large party of friends of the owners that was coming in later. we finally were seated after 45 minutes waiting for a table. we were given one waitress and the bartender finally took our drink orders. after 20 more minutes they finally took our order which was about thetimethe large party of the owners friends and family came in. they were seated and served immediately and their orders were taken. the other large party was done with their appetizers and starting on their dinners when they brought out our appetizers and dinner at the same time, almost an hour and a half after we got there, needless to say the children were going crazy and my son was embarassed and furious. they also brought us a bucket of beer that was labeled as the "sanitizer" bucket. definately a food service no no. i had ordered an appetizer of potato skins and they were cold in the middle and a cheeseburger medium and it came medium rare at best. needless to say neither i or any of the wedding party will be going back to mojo's. the food and service were unimpressive. it is unfortunate that my son and his fiance will have such a poor memory of his wedding rehersal dinner.

husband and i have been there 4 times. waitress is always very nice and the only reason she is tipped.
drinks arrive after food, appetizers arrive with dinner or lunch. the waitresses either need to learn totimethe input of the orders or get pushy with the kit staff. 2nd drink order always delivered 30 minutes late.

pretty good. i visited the mojo grill a couple days ago with my boyfriend, and we really loved the atmosphere! it had a fun, blues-y vibe and was very relaxed and friendly.
i guess it was open-mic night, so there were some live performers. some were good, some not so much... i think the music could be a little lower.
our waitress was really nice and personable, and didn't act overly cheerful, which is a good thing.
we ordered fried pickles for the appetizer, which wasn't bad. the ranch dipping sauce was a little too salty for me, but my boyfriend seemed to like it.
i also ordered some gumbo and the rasta pasta and he ordered a burger.
i noticed someone else mentioned a little bit of crunchy rice in their gumbo... i noticed that too. not enough to where i couldn't eat it at all, but it was definitely more than one or two grains. i've never had gumbo, so i can't really say what it should taste like, but i liked mine okay. the flavor was almost overwhelming.
we both found the food to be good overall, but nothing amazing.
and i have to say that it took like half an hour just for us to pay! i think they need to hire more waitresses, cuz we waited quite a longtimeafter eating just to be able to pay and leave.

cont. you people are crazy. i forgot to say something about the pricess....everytimeme and my husband get the bill we are always excited to see it because everything is priced great for the kind of place and food. onlytimewe aren't happy is when we get a few drinks too. ha.

you people are crazy.. i've read a few reviews and most of you must be out of your mind. everytimei've eaten there its been on point, i have never had a bad meal. everytimei have family or friends in town we always take them to mojos. the selection for vegetarians is amazing, and trust me we notice! i just had my friend that loves cubans and trust me he has tried the best of the best and in town mojos actually comes in 2nd in his book. mojos has never let me or my husband down in taste or service, they make sure you are definitely taken care of and if you have any problems just say something and they will take care of it. onetimeme and my husband made the mistake of going on trivia night (it is really loud) and we were so into our food we didn't even care that trivia was going on we actually answered a few to ourselves and had a great time. all in all mojos has never let us down, nexttimeyou have a problem say something don't just write some blasphemy on the internet, maybe they will change your mind!

hit or miss with this place food and service wise but i tried the pork fajitas and now i wish it's what i could eat all day every day. moral of the story if u don't like it the firsttimegive it another chance. lame drink specials btw, he would be wise to try to attract some of the get off at 5 happy hour club

i went to mojos for the firsttimea few weeks ago and i had a horrible experience. it was very hot in the restaurant, the waitresses had sweat dripping off of them. there was a guy there over the speakers playing trivia and it was so loud we could not have a conversation. i ordered the ragin cajun and it came out cold with hardly any spices. my friend didn't get her food until 10 minutes after we received ours. i definately would not recommend this place.

firsttimeand wow did i pick the right place to have lunch! mojo pork nachos are just ridiculously good. it was also a perfect day to sit outside.
