ho hum.... tried this place last weekend for the first time. over the past few months i had several people touting their food so we had to give it a try.
i was not as impressed with the food as i had hoped to be. they brought out my gumbo first and mine was tasty and spicy ( though thick and on the dry side ) but the added rice was either undercooked ( crunchy ) or possibly too overcooked and crispy, not sure which. could not eat it and sent it back with the waitress. i had the cuban with a side of onion rings and it was ok. have had better cubans even here in ocala. the onion rings were just so-so, nothing to crow about either.i did have the mojo sauce for dipping and that is wonderful. would recommend that to everyone...
as far as service was concerned - no complaints at all. we had a real efficient and super pleasant female server.
i will give mojo's another shot as i know sometimes things just go wrong and it can happen even in the best establishments...the beer was cold!
in closing i will say that everyone else in my party seemend pleased with their food and their service too.

good food, but atmosphere needs work. went here for the first time and loved the food. the atmosphere was lacking though. very very loud guitar player made the evening hard to enjoy.

really good. the food here is really good. i devoured one of their big burgers in like ten minutes. parking is kind of a problem, we had to park at a bank across from the restaurant but the food is worth it. also seating and prices could be a problem because i noticed the dining room was kind of small and i've heard a few people on here complain about the prices. i didn't have to worry about either of those things because i used to date the daughter of the owners and got the royal treatment from them. however, the food is definetely worth going through any problems that could arise. would definetley recommend a burger or a cuban sandwich.

worst cuban sandwich ever. i have been to mojo's a number of times -- service is irratic -sometimes good other times awful -- but recently i tried their famous cuban sandwich -- it was the absolute worst cuban sandwich i ever had -- to get a real cuban try la teresita in tampa, or the columbia in tampa or even the front porch in dunnellon -- don"t waste your money on a cuban at mojo's

good food at a good price. my wife and i go to the mojo grill frequently. it is one of the most consistent restaurants in town for food quality and the prices, although recently increased, are very reasonable. my only qualm is the service since moving to the new location. a large part of the staff was freshly hired during the move, and i think a lot of them still have yet to find their footing.

my usual menu choices are:
pulled pork nachos - the full order is big enough for 2 to share for an entree and the bbq sauce is superb
jappy joey - one of the few places that can serve a burger rare enough for me, plus bonus jalapenos
cuban - by itself this is ok, but add some mojo sauce and you will become addicted. the mojo sauce is so tasty i could drink it.

during the last few days of summer this year, i had the opportunity to go camping in ocala. although we ate at camp most days, we did manage to sneak of to mojo grill and catering company. the first thing you will notice when you walk into the mojo grill is the southern style hospitality and atmosphere. the inside is a vast collection of artwork and decor that include bright colored paintings featuring blues legends and various instruments one would see from new orleans to mississippi.

the food came out quick and we were all pleasantly surprised with how good everything was. our server was very nice and attentive to our table even though she had a large party if 20 as well. my oldest daughter ordered the chicken wrap and said it was the best one she has had. i had the ricky sandwich and it was really good, and the mojo sauce was spot on, and the black beans and rice were very good as well. my youngest daughter had the kids cheese burger and when she couldn't finish it i helped her out, and even that was really good. the next time we are in silver springs, we will definitely be back.

good not great.

been here 3 times while driving through ocala. ive had the burgers, the wings and the kitchen sink salad. the food for the most part is good, id say go for the burger or wings and enjoy one of the many beers they carry.

it's a large place and can handle large crowds. however, that means a large space to clean and i noticed stuff gets past the staff, crumbs, messes on the wall, a wonky table and a bathroom stall that wouldnt lock.

my burger and fries today were good and hubbie devoured his wings. the celery was old, dry and cracking. blek. but the beer was cold, so we left happy. if youre in the area check them out.

we love mojo's grill. i have a gluten allergy and my son has a dairy allergy. while he has limited options for dinner, at 3 he doesn't really care. the staff is always willing to accommodate our needs. it's a great place :) it's our go to for ocala for family friendly. they have great wings, and the pulled pork nachos are killer and feed a ton of people. they also make a great top shelf long island. we've had issues with the restaurant in belleview so the one in ocala is where we go. but we appreciate the variety of food, great staff and atmosphere 👍

poor reviewers trick unknowing travelers.. much like roadside billboards advertising the world's largest gator or other silly attractions the poor reviewers on urban spoon lead weary travelers to the slaughter that is the mojo grill. there is no mojo here just a decent layout. in this scenario you either find the place you will always stop or a dud and i am here to tell you definatively that this firecracker shot into the air and failed miserably.

do not waste time or money here unless you want to see the awesome blues brothers statues. that is the lone redeeming factor of this place and honestly it looks more like jim than john.

meh. i use to love this place...when they were small and in a tiny plaza. now they are trying to become chili's and they are way over their head. since trying to step into the franchise business, they have swapped quality for quantity. the food has gone down hill. their empanadas are frozen and their crawfish is frozen. i had a simple sandwich with soup and my sandwich was cold. i sent it back and they brought it back out all soggy and torn apart. they didn't even remake it. use to be good, not so much anymore.

not cuban...not good. chain restaurant junk food for college age football fans.

food is subpar....over fried, greasy, and poor tasting.

ignore the idea of "cuban experience" before coming here
