ho hum.... tried thisplacelast weekend for the first time. over the past few months i had several people touting their food so we had to give it a try.
i was not as impressed with the food as i had hoped to be. they brought out my gumbo first and mine was tasty and spicy ( though thick and on the dry side ) but the added rice was either undercooked ( crunchy ) or possibly too overcooked and crispy, not sure which. could not eat it and sent it back with the waitress. i had the cuban with a side of onion rings and it was ok. have had better cubans even here in ocala. the onion rings were just so-so, nothing to crow about either.i did have the mojo sauce for dipping and that is wonderful. would recommend that to everyone...
as far as service was concerned - no complaints at all. we had a real efficient and super pleasant female server.
i will give mojo's another shot as i know sometimes things just go wrong and it can happen even in the best establishments...the beer was cold!
in closing i will say that everyone else in my party seemend pleased with their food and their service too.

been here 3 times while driving through ocala. ive had the burgers, the wings and the kitchen sink salad. the food for the most part is good, id say go for the burger or wings and enjoy one of the many beers they carry.

it's a largeplaceand can handle large crowds. however, that means a large space to clean and i noticed stuff gets past the staff, crumbs, messes on the wall, a wonky table and a bathroom stall that wouldnt lock.

my burger and fries today were good and hubbie devoured his wings. the celery was old, dry and cracking. blek. but the beer was cold, so we left happy. if youre in the area check them out.

we love mojo's grill. i have a gluten allergy and my son has a dairy allergy. while he has limited options for dinner, at 3 he doesn't really care. the staff is always willing to accommodate our needs. it's a greatplace:) it's our go to for ocala for family friendly. they have great wings, and the pulled pork nachos are killer and feed a ton of people. they also make a great top shelf long island. we've had issues with the restaurant in belleview so the one in ocala is where we go. but we appreciate the variety of food, great staff and atmosphere 👍

poor reviewers trick unknowing travelers.. much like roadside billboards advertising the world's largest gator or other silly attractions the poor reviewers on urban spoon lead weary travelers to the slaughter that is the mojo grill. there is no mojo here just a decent layout. in this scenario you either find theplaceyou will always stop or a dud and i am here to tell you definatively that this firecracker shot into the air and failed miserably.

do not waste time or money here unless you want to see the awesome blues brothers statues. that is the lone redeeming factor of thisplaceand honestly it looks more like jim than john.

i don't necessarily think thisplaceis setting the world on fire; but i always enjoy my food, the service is some of the best in ocala, and they actually know how to handle take-out(like serving the cheese seperate for our loaded fries).placeis solid.

thisplaceis very fun! it has a good vibe. good, fresh food. got the chicken lettuce wraps one day and the chicken veggie salad the other day. i also tried the fish tacos and those were good as well. we had a really bad waitress one day but i won't judge the restaurant because she was careless and inattentive.

good food, but what in the heck is going on?! it's opening night in the nfl. i politely ask for the sound to be switched to the game. the server says, "unfortunately we can't because we only do the miami dolphin games". i reply, "what!?". then i add, "what about the gator games considering that gainesville is 45 miles away?!" she replies, "nope only dolphin games". so my question is, "whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!?" this is crazy what kind ofplacehas tvs and only shows games of teams that are perennially sub .500 and are consistently blacked out in there own town?! this is anarchy, shear anarchy!

mojo is a go go!. i was back visiting ocala again. thsi time i tried mojo's for dinner. ok! say what! slap yo mama! kind of good! service spot on. atmosphere perfect. food off da chain! i had the cuban. this thing was stupid good! so flavorful. the pulled seasoned pork was perfect cooked, the cheese and the cilantro were done perfectly and the mojo (pronounced mo-ho) is so good. just made the sandwich explode in your mouth. the waffle fries were cooked prefectly. thisplacehas got it goin on. welcome to flavortown everybody! check em out!

yum!. we have been to mojo's several times. the service can be hit or miss as far as being slow, but it is always pleasant. the food has been delicious every time. we have tried several things on the menu and have never been disappointed. we were just at the new location on saturday. i had the baja chicken tacos......delicious!!!! my husband had the cuban which was good too. we also love the pulled pork nachos. the newplacelooks great!

cont. you people are crazy. i forgot to say something about the pricess....every time me and my husband get the bill we are always excited to see it because everything is priced great for the kind ofplaceand food. only time we aren't happy is when we get a few drinks too. ha.

you people are crazy.. i've read a few reviews and most of you must be out of your mind. every time i've eaten there its been on point, i have never had a bad meal. every time i have family or friends in town we always take them to mojos. the selection for vegetarians is amazing, and trust me we notice! i just had my friend that loves cubans and trust me he has tried the best of the best and in town mojos actually comes in 2nd in his book. mojos has never let me or my husband down in taste or service, they make sure you are definitely taken care of and if you have any problems just say something and they will take care of it. one time me and my husband made the mistake of going on trivia night (it is really loud) and we were so into our food we didn't even care that trivia was going on we actually answered a few to ourselves and had a great time. all in all mojos has never let us down, next time you have a problem say something don't just write some blasphemy on the internet, maybe they will change your mind!

excellent flavoring! messy & yummy. if you like flavorful food that can be a bit messy (and i mean this is a good way)... try mojo grill. the cuban's are not what you get at authentic cuban place... they are like cuban on steroids! they are so delicious you will need to lay your head down on the table because you won't be able to comprehend something so good. ask for some "mojo sauce" on the side... it will be a tiny cup of hot, liquidy sauce... you dip your sandwhich in and experience even more flavor. go on tuesday for their 2 cuban special... get the waffle fries with hot sauce & cheese on them!
pros: great flavor, friendly staff, large portions, in ocala & belleview.
cons: can be noisy, might be a bit warm in dining room at times, not aplacefor people on a diet.

hit or miss with thisplacefood and service wise but i tried the pork fajitas and now i wish it's what i could eat all day every day. moral of the story if u don't like it the first time give it another chance. lame drink specials btw, he would be wise to try to attract some of the get off at 5 happy hour club

first time and wow did i pick the rightplaceto have lunch! mojo pork nachos are just ridiculously good. it was also a perfect day to sit outside.

mojos is my and my wifes favplaceto eat, i love the fun guy burger and sher loves the fajitas! the atmosphere is awesome but you haver to like blues and jazz, sometimes you have to wait to be seated but it's worth it, we don't mind because we kilter watching the guys on the grill, true artists! rondo us usually there when we come in and even though we face only meet through his tardiness he has always made sure to stop by and ask how everything was and too thank us for coming in. thisplaceis a delight and the owner is a great guy, the staff all rock, and you could do a lot worse and not any better for a good meal in ocala!

get the rhythm and bleu with cajun waffle fries. greatplacewith an excellent welcoming staff to match.
