ho hum.... tried this place last weekend for the first time. over the past few months i had several people touting theirfoodso we had to give it a try.
i was not as impressed with thefoodas i had hoped to be. they brought out my gumbo first and mine was tasty and spicy ( though thick and on the dry side ) but the added rice was either undercooked ( crunchy ) or possibly too overcooked and crispy, not sure which. could not eat it and sent it back with the waitress. i had the cuban with a side of onion rings and it was ok. have had better cubans even here in ocala. the onion rings were just so-so, nothing to crow about either.i did have the mojo sauce for dipping and that is wonderful. would recommend that to everyone...
as far as service was concerned - no complaints at all. we had a real efficient and super pleasant female server.
i will give mojo's another shot as i know sometimes things just go wrong and it can happen even in the best establishments...the beer was cold!
in closing i will say that everyone else in my party seemend pleased with theirfoodand their service too.

really good. thefoodhere is really good. i devoured one of their big burgers in like ten minutes. parking is kind of a problem, we had to park at a bank across from the restaurant but thefoodis worth it. also seating and prices could be a problem because i noticed the dining room was kind of small and i've heard a few people on here complain about the prices. i didn't have to worry about either of those things because i used to date the daughter of the owners and got the royal treatment from them. however, thefoodis definetely worth going through any problems that could arise. would definetley recommend a burger or a cuban sandwich.

goodfoodat a good price. my wife and i go to the mojo grill frequently. it is one of the most consistent restaurants in town forfoodquality and the prices, although recently increased, are very reasonable. my only qualm is the service since moving to the new location. a large part of the staff was freshly hired during the move, and i think a lot of them still have yet to find their footing.

my usual menu choices are:
pulled pork nachos - the full order is big enough for 2 to share for an entree and the bbq sauce is superb
jappy joey - one of the few places that can serve a burger rare enough for me, plus bonus jalapenos
cuban - by itself this is ok, but add some mojo sauce and you will become addicted. the mojo sauce is so tasty i could drink it.

thefoodcame out quick and we were all pleasantly surprised with how good everything was. our server was very nice and attentive to our table even though she had a large party if 20 as well. my oldest daughter ordered the chicken wrap and said it was the best one she has had. i had the ricky sandwich and it was really good, and the mojo sauce was spot on, and the black beans and rice were very good as well. my youngest daughter had the kids cheese burger and when she couldn't finish it i helped her out, and even that was really good. the next time we are in silver springs, we will definitely be back.

been here 3 times while driving through ocala. ive had the burgers, the wings and the kitchen sink salad. thefoodfor the most part is good, id say go for the burger or wings and enjoy one of the many beers they carry.

it's a large place and can handle large crowds. however, that means a large space to clean and i noticed stuff gets past the staff, crumbs, messes on the wall, a wonky table and a bathroom stall that wouldnt lock.

my burger and fries today were good and hubbie devoured his wings. the celery was old, dry and cracking. blek. but the beer was cold, so we left happy. if youre in the area check them out.

meh. i use to love this place...when they were small and in a tiny plaza. now they are trying to become chili's and they are way over their head. since trying to step into the franchise business, they have swapped quality for quantity. thefoodhas gone down hill. their empanadas are frozen and their crawfish is frozen. i had a simple sandwich with soup and my sandwich was cold. i sent it back and they brought it back out all soggy and torn apart. they didn't even remake it. use to be good, not so much anymore.

flavor everywhere.. i was impressed from the second i stepped out of the car and could smell delicious pork. the service was fantastic, the atmosphere was unique but cohesive and the food... man thefoodwas incredible.

not cuban...not good. chain restaurant junkfoodfor college age football fans.

food is subpar....over fried, greasy, and poor tasting.

ignore the idea of "cuban experience" before coming here

who actually reviews this place?. thefoodis subpar, the service is bad, and the prices are unreasonable given the other negatives. i cannot believe that any actual diners are writing these glowingly positive reviews. do yourself a favor and stay away from the mojo grill. there are several better options for cuban cuisine- don chepe's and latin american cafe are both outstanding with great food, prices, and service.

just left a cruise ship and this was the bestfoodin 7 days. the nachos, cuban and the jappy were all a hit. our server jen was awesome!

i used to eat at major all the time because of the best reviews all the time i was jeering went and found out most of their so called great reviews online were done by none other than the employees that work there being told to do it to drum up business they had okfoodbut to lie to the public sorry mojos u are off of my list. the owner(rondo)?,had said that he is not concerned about john q public as a customer because he is "bigger than olive garden" right from his mouth. i mean wow for lunch i will be having soup and salad

excellent. the day i was there for lunch it was very busy and we had a group of about 10 people from work. the servers were very attentive and quick. the best part was the food. i had a buffalo chicken wrap that was awesome. great spicy heat that is usually over done around here. usually you have to go to new orleans to get hotfooddone right. now you can go to mojo's (it's much closer too). everyone in our group said theirfoodwas great as well. highly recommended!

never again. the dinner that i have always ordered was reduced by almost half in portion size, possibly because of moving to the larger location. it's like eating in a warehouse. way too much noise and inattentive service. very sad to be striking mojo's off my eatery list of restaurants in ocala. looks like it's blue highway pizza all the way ~ at least theirfoodhas incredible flavor.

ok, but just ok. this isn't the worstfoodin ocala but it's certainly not the best. re-spun takes on mexicali ho-hum post-imperial non-scrumptiousness. better than a tv dinner, worse than a good subway.,

mojo is a go go!. i was back visiting ocala again. thsi time i tried mojo's for dinner. ok! say what! slap yo mama! kind of good! service spot on. atmosphere perfect.foodoff da chain! i had the cuban. this thing was stupid good! so flavorful. the pulled seasoned pork was perfect cooked, the cheese and the cilantro were done perfectly and the mojo (pronounced mo-ho) is so good. just made the sandwich explode in your mouth. the waffle fries were cooked prefectly. this place has got it goin on. welcome to flavortown everybody! check em out!
