not for us. my husband and i went for the cuban and fried pickles. not impressed with the cuban, and burped the pickles all afternoon. best cuban we have had in ocala is downtown at o'mallys. i was told that mo jos was better but i have to disagree.

the service was on point, waitress was very nice and stayed on her toes.

oh, the waffle fries were cold, too.

we won't be going back.

ok, but just ok. this isn't the worst food in ocala but it's certainly not the best. re-spun takes on mexicali ho-hum post-imperial non-scrumptiousness. better than a tv dinner, worse than a good subway.,

good food, but what in the heck is going on?! it's opening night in the nfl. i politely ask for the sound to be switched to the game. the server says, "unfortunately we can't because we only do the miami dolphin games". i reply, "what!?". then i add, "what about the gator games considering that gainesville is 45 miles away?!" she replies, "nope only dolphin games". so my question is, "whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!?" this is crazy what kind of place has tvs and only shows games of teams that are perennially sub .500 and are consistently blacked out in there own town?! this is anarchy, shear anarchy!

yum and oh!. one of my families favorite joints...well, used to be. since they've moved to their new location, we were lucky to get a table yesterday. we have tried several times to get in, but with 2 kids under 3, an hour and a half wait seemed a bit much. so, got right in yesterday just to wait an hour and fifteen minutes for a burger! and we weren't the only table with that issue in our section. the food, when it finally arrived, was awesome! no complaints there! rondo knows good eats. but the service was lacking, to say the least. we shall give it a few months and see if they nipped their kinks in the bud. i sure hope so.

absolutely delicious food! we found this restaurant through urban spoon while driving home from disney world. we had the fried pickles (best ever!), carolina barbeque sandwich, soulful salad, chicken tenders, fish tacos, and bananas foster (for dessert). everything was melt in your mouth delicious. very friendly staff, too!

bad memories of a special night. we went there on 3/9/13 for my son's wedding rehersal dinner. he had made the reservation more than a week before. we had a party of 18 including 2 children and 2 infants. when we got there (on time),we were told we would be waiting a while as the seats that were supposed to be for us would be needed for a large party of friends of the owners that was coming in later. we finally were seated after 45 minutes waiting for a table. we were given one waitress and the bartender finally took our drink orders. after 20 more minutes they finally took our order which was about the time the large party of the owners friends and family came in. they were seated and served immediately and their orders were taken. the other large party was done with their appetizers and starting on their dinners when they brought out our appetizers and dinner at the same time, almost an hour and a half after we got there, needless to say the children were going crazy and my son was embarassed and furious. they also brought us a bucket of beer that was labeled as the "sanitizer" bucket. definately a food service no no. i had ordered an appetizer of potato skins and they were cold in the middle and a cheeseburger medium and it came medium rare at best. needless to say neither i or any of the wedding party will be going back to mojo's. the food and service were unimpressive. it is unfortunate that my son and his fiance will have such a poor memory of his wedding rehersal dinner.

great food. we eat there around 2 times a month. the food is always awesome, my husband loves that the wings are grilled and its my son's favorite mac and cheese. the service can be hit or miss, but the food is worth it!

excellent food, service lacking. excellent food, one of the best in ocala. service is seriously out of sinc.
husband and i have been there 4 times. waitress is always very nice and the only reason she is tipped.
drinks arrive after food, appetizers arrive with dinner or lunch. the waitresses either need to learn to time the input of the orders or get pushy with the kit staff. 2nd drink order always delivered 30 minutes late.
what gives?

pretty good. i visited the mojo grill a couple days ago with my boyfriend, and we really loved the atmosphere! it had a fun, blues-y vibe and was very relaxed and friendly.
i guess it was open-mic night, so there were some live performers. some were good, some not so much... i think the music could be a little lower.
our waitress was really nice and personable, and didn't act overly cheerful, which is a good thing.
we ordered fried pickles for the appetizer, which wasn't bad. the ranch dipping sauce was a little too salty for me, but my boyfriend seemed to like it.
i also ordered some gumbo and the rasta pasta and he ordered a burger.
i noticed someone else mentioned a little bit of crunchy rice in their gumbo... i noticed that too. not enough to where i couldn't eat it at all, but it was definitely more than one or two grains. i've never had gumbo, so i can't really say what it should taste like, but i liked mine okay. the flavor was almost overwhelming.
we both found the food to be good overall, but nothing amazing.
and i have to say that it took like half an hour just for us to pay! i think they need to hire more waitresses, cuz we waited quite a long time after eating just to be able to pay and leave.
