the market - hilton dubai al habtoor city

we tried this as a family lunch and it was unexpectedly great. the staff was very friendly and very accommodating for kids, the chef visited our table offering my kids chocolate as a treat. the buffet options are very good with different cuisines. the grilled chicken and the roasted beef were amazing. they offered indian, arabic, chinese, sushi and italian. i always like to have a small piece of cheese after desert and they had more than 10 types of cheeses. btw all this for 160 dhs. will definitely go again

such a nice setting and a big buffet, when i entered and as explained by server about the type of different cuisines, our expectations were very high but its only good for salads , soups or some starters, main course & deserts have no options and food quality if compared to westin standard is not there.

my so far the best buffet lunch place i have been( i talk of the food only). it has a range of cuisine from arabic, chinese, indian, etc.
-ambiance: i liked the interiors , very creative. you can have your birthday party, baby shower, office gathering etc. it’s got the view facing the dubai water canal.
-staff: i was disappointed. i did not feel welcoming at all. they judge the book by its cover.
-food: yum! i liked everything. from sushi to tikka , everything was best. the desserts was the best part. for the food only i would rate 4.5.
overall i would recommend to try for the food only if you don’t care for the judgy host 😜.

i visited this restaurant couple of times last year before they close it for maintenance ,we went there again last saturday for lunch , it was an international buffet.

they offer multiple stations with a different cuisines and good choice of drinks including fresh juices station which is not common in weekdays buffet.

while the cheese selection is good, most of the things doesn’t taste as good as they look.

restaurant is large and has a view on dubai canal , it is good for friends or family gathering dinner as they have some semiprivate round tables.

this was my first time at the seasonal tastes friday brunch. we arrived at 1.10pm and there was already a long queue of people waiting to collect wrist bands and be seated. i would definitely recommend arriving just before 1pm as we had to wait a good ten minutes before being escorted to our table. despite the restaurant being fully booked, it didn't feel crowded once inside. the sheer size of the venue and the variety of food options available were amazing and this also meant there were no long lines of people waiting at any one food stand. in addition to the array of high quality seafood, sushi, roast meats, indian and asian dishes was a mouthwatering dessert stand with everything from sticky toffee pudding and crepes to candy floss and ice cream. there was also a pimms stand serving cocktails, a kids area with face painting, balloon animals and a few games and a dj to make sure the atmosphere stayed lively. the waiters were readily available and drinks were brought to the table quite quickly. i will definitely go back again.

tried their buffet lunch with family and the place is huge! it was a weekday so not much people but still the food selections are generous and aplenty. i can imagine how great their friday brunch must be! lovely service too.

this city and it's city brunch rocks....what an environment and ambience....we were truly awestruck....the crew on the floor were just too good and matched every bit of the wonderful buffet spread....mind you....i am just reviewing the vegetarian treats which were part of the buffet....
the seafood and meat loving can dig in even more on their scrumptious feast laid ahead of them.
the live counters are nice and quick to whip up your custom made plate....
the buffet arrays an extensive range of food half way across the world i guess....the restaurant is huge enough to handle hungry gluttons....
the dessert range wins your heart and probably would say it's worth the entire money you pay....
the coffee and tea served after the buffet adds to one step higher in ratings....
keep it up guys and surely love to visit you all again....

with all the brunches in dubai, they all start to blur together. especially after a few too many mojitos! so just what does it take to stand out?. well, i arrived at the city brunch at westin al habtoor city fashionably late. i do love a good buffet, but, to be honest, i was expecting just another brunch and thought i’d have plenty of time to sample a few mediocre lukewarm dishes. how wrong i was! serves me right to be racing around with fomo as i tried to make up for lost time.

one of the best brunches i've been to in dubai. amazing selection of food accompanied by a very nice selection of wines. totally recommend...

dropped in with some friends for dinner on a week day with high hopes for this place. bear in mind the westin is a bit tough to get to but this didn't dissuade our endeavour; however, i would regretably have to say that it was for nothing. the food - literally almost all of it -was underwhelming and apart from their one kebab dish, nothing stood out despite the variety. while the cheese selection is good, most of it is unfortunately dried out. despite being a large restaurant, i found the ambience to be a bit cold while the staff could have been a bit more proffesional (constant smiling can be interpreted as plain rude and dont be too eager to take plates away). would not really recommend this place.

if you are looking for a place to have your food in i really recommend this place it has a variety of food and it is really tasty also the service was so nice with a pleasant view on dubai canal .

they have different sections in addition to sweets section.

i would be happier if i found more choices of salads.

brunches are meant to be laid back, relaxed and usually a family gathering. in dubai brunch is more like a tradition and we have got plenty of options for the same. from international to arabic and from italian to indo pak whatever your palate desires you can easily find in this city. i love the idea of going to brunch on weekends as brunches are meant to be laid back, relaxed and a family affair. dubai is one place where you will find plenty of options according to your palates.

we love brunch, not denying that at all. especially those that are affordable. now with vat in place, wouldn’t you too? spoiler: of all the brunches i’ve been to, this one’s my favorite! (see my favorite brunches here). brunches in dubai usually end by 3 ish which makes it difficult for us to dine due to friday prayers. westin, thankfully, ends by 4:30 pm so you have time to peacefully end your brunch.

what a spread..?!!! amazing vibe, good selection of food (massive desert spread), friendly staff and great service.

whats even better is that they have tables overlooking the dubai canal and decent kids play area to keep the lil ones occupied.

my review for seasonal tastes – i cannot believe how long it took me to photograph the buffet selection at this restaurant for the city brunch because it was literally the biggest brunch i have ever been to.

there were so many different cuisines served in the buffet and there was also chef who was a dj preparing eggs benedict while mixing some beats!

my favourites from the buffet were salmon and tuna sashimi, cheese sushi roll, laksa noodles, shrimp dumplings, smoked salmon, king crab, oysters, and the amazing dessert items.

the sashimi at the japanese section of the buffet was stunning for the presentation. the large tuna immediately caught my eye and it was the first station that i went to. the sashimi was definitely so fresh.

the laksa noodles was my favourite from the chinese station but laksa is not a chinese dish so that was a little out of place since it is a malaysian dish. the laksa soup was delicious and it was close to the ones that i had in malaysia.

i was drawn to the fresh seafood station in the buffet because there were so many different types of seafood present. i was impressed with the different flavours on the smoked salmon and they were all so perfect. the king crab was just falling off the shell, so it was steamed to the right temperature. the oysters were shucked on the spot which made them super fresh.

finally, i was so happy to see how many dessert items there were. there were waffles, pancakes, different cakes, arabic sweets, a white and dark chocolate fountain, and macarons. i had no complaints at all with any of the dessert dishes because each one was just right.

this restaurant deserves a rating of 4.5/5.

i ordered the champagne alcoholic brunch package for 495dhs.

the pricing of the buffet here was excellent for the amount of items present in the buffet.

the service that i received here was amazing for the first bit of the brunch experience, but as the day went on and the tables were all getting filled up, the service started slowing down. we had to find the server ourselves to clear our finished plates and to get new cutlery.

the ambience of this restaurant was bright and the huge! the buffet was spread across the whole span of the restaurant because there were so many different food items and cuisines served here. there were tables along the window overlooking the dubai creek and the view of the jw marriott hotel. it was nice to see a kids section in the restaurant as well so you can dine with your kids without worrying that they will get bored.
