we have been in the market for ramadan iftar.... the amazing thing is the crowd and the nice ambiance.... a view at dubai canal was also beautiful..... the food in general was delicious and thestaffwas amazing, smiling all the time to make you visit beautiful and make everyone happy.... there were different cuisines: arabic, international, sushi, indian ... and many others... i loved this place... and i am sure you will too 😍

this has to be the best iftar i have had so far. such wide varieties of great food. loved their arabic section.staffpeople were extremely friendly and ambience wise the place was beautiful as well.

visited this place during evening time for iftar , the place is very much crowded super packed i must say , they had live stations of arabic , indian , asian , japanese & dessert station as well .staffpeople were very much welcoming as well . loved their ramadan drinks as well . thank you to the team of the market for such a lovely hospitality .

arrived at the restaurant taken to the table and nostaffcame to welcome us, no explanation of the restaurant concept or what to do, food was cold at most stations, quality was not good,staffwere observed on their phones and not caring for customers. do not recommend this place.

amazing friday brunch! we were a group of 20 and were looked after so well by thestaff- amit, samantha, sapna, gisselle, mary, teddy and dev. incredible service! there’s a kids area which kept the children in our group occupied for the entire duration of the brunch. they had a pizza baking session at 3pm too.

the food at every single station was great! we didn’t taste a single thing we didn’t like. the chefs, and all thestaffbehind the live stations did such a great job!

definitely one of the best family friendly brunches we have been to.

i celebtrated my mums 60th birthday and i could not think of any other brunch than the city brunch at hilton. we were a big group of 25 people. food, drinks and ambience was amazing. specially children's were entertained all the times.staffare very friendly, polite, specially giselle, samantha and amit gave our group the best service. i would highly recommend this brunch.

we went there for friday dinner buffet, the place was quiet and the food variety wasn't at the top.

brunch. city brunch on a friday and it was pretty chaotic. we waited a long time for any servicestaffto come to the table to place our drinks orders.

the brunch was probably over booked as tables so close together and every food station had a giant queue for the first 90mins.

i tried the sushi which was lovely. the carvery station was great. awesome choice of drinks with bottled beers, cocktails, wine and bubbly.

kids area was good and well staffed.

no designated smoking area at the brunch so guest last have to take a lift to a lower floor to the bar.

nice that when it ended at 4.30pm we weren’t expected to vacate immediately like some brunches.

been here with family for the city brunch on friday . we had our reservations done prior and thestaffwere friendly and escorted us to our beautiful table at the window side facing the dubai canal. thestaffalso took us through the buffet stations which were more than 7 easily . the spread was simply extensive ranging from the continental, arabic , sushi , chinese and indian food, salad bar and a attractive array of desserts coupled with bar with beverages . we started off with beer , wine and some cocktails. kids loved the overall experience of play area and wide range of choices , their favorites were the chicken wings , sushi , some chinese delicacies and desserts . we had a relaxing time and tried most of the food stations and what we loved the most were grilled fish , roasted lamb , chicken tikka, biryani , peking duck and salads . in the desserts mango mousse , tiramisu, raspberry cake was superb. overall it was a fun filled yummy weekend . a perfect place to be with family and friends and enjoy a wonderful meal . the service was amazing and we were served by ms lillien who really made it more wonderful !

love food here. went there on a normal sunday for lunch buffet. not many people due to working day. thestaffare very friendly and warm. food options are plenty, all are fresh and yummy. impressed by the chefs’ creativity of cooking. definitely will go again.

booked for an international buffet dinner, the hotel is confusing to reach to. upon entering there was nostaffto check our table or assist us.
we just walked in and did a tour around the buffet and seating area until we stumbled across astaffand asked about our table.

it was nicely seated to the window, my name was on the table, gentle touch.
table was clean and organized.

i'm going to summarize the buffet.
has an average selection of cold items from salads, hummus, moutabal, moudardra, beef salad, beetroot, spinach, baba ghanooj.

the sushi section is poor. it's not what i wanted to see. the choices are cheap and they weren't tasty.

the hot foods are okay, there is mixed grills which tasted great but some of the meat wasn't cooked properly, still raw meat. there is biryani, some selection of indian,
on another section there was shrimps with sauce, roast beef, vegetables, potatoes, mexican rice. the white rice in this section was completely rubbish, it was overcooked and dry, i wonder how they left it there.

like 5 types of rice in this buffet is silly. just put something else instead of two rice dishes.
the desserts aren't waw. they all in the fridge. had trouble getting them, specially the fruits, you can't put your hand properly into the shelf. the ice cream is okay. you had to look around for the guy to scoop you a serving.

on average it was alright, other than not having a good service throughout. for the price i think its a tad bit more expensive than other places that offer a better service to say the least.

i heard the brunch is a different experience from the reviews. i may look into that in the future.

the market, on the first floor, is the hilton dubai al habtoor city’s all-day-dining restaurant. it’s where you go to have breakfast in the morning and lunch/dinner accordingly. i joined friends there for breakfast and was shocked to find how crowded it was at 08:00. as i entered my eyes grew even wider at the number of asian guests there, over 70% that morning; walking to our table i noticed that the chinese food station was easily winning the restaurant’s popularity contest, surpassing even the egg station (but that may be because there are two egg stations). of course, there’s an indian section, arabic section, cold meats section (but no pork), cheeses, breads, cereals, juices and all the other trappings which are typical of five-star dubai buffets. quality of everything was equally five-star, the coffee, in particular, was superb. commendable too was the service, withstaffvisiting our table every couple of minutes to check if we needed anything. this is definitely a breakfast buffet worth visiting, especially if you are a fan of asian food. i hear their friday brunch is not too bad either.

to start with, we had to wait 5 minutes at the entrance for any one to entertain us. astaffmember stopped in front of us to do some work and it seemed we were invisible. the food stations were mainly empty. the food was extremely cold. thestaffinformed that they had unexpected amount of guests which is completely unacceptable.

we had a special event scheduled here after la perle and the restuarantstaffwere all very accommodating and helpful. a huge thank you to prasanth (sorry if i misspelled) and antone- our waiter. the food variety and freshness was excellent- as was the dessert buffet. pls dont miss the flavored butter and gorgeous variety of breads over by the desserts. the view of the canal by nite is also lovely. best thing was the pricing- in a cuty where 100 aed doesnt get u far: we went very far here!!! looking forward to go back again. the special semi-private seating area we got was as good as being in a private room! was absolutely lovely.

they have a good variety in breakfast and i wish i could try everything. thestaffwas so friendly as expected in a 5 star hotel yet all deserve appreciation. hopefully will someday try their evening meals too.
