the lazy dog

lazy dog is a must visit cafe in manali. it gives both indoor and outdoor seating arrangement and is a river view cafe, which makes it a perfect spot for hangout ! you can enjoy amazing food with a view of the beas river ❤️.

coming to the food, we tried the following :

|| starters ||

👉 chicken wings in lazy bbq sauce - the chicken pieces were cooked in delicious bbq sauce and the output was absolutely amazing ! recommended ! ❤️

👉 chicken malai tikka - we were satisfied with the flavour of malai chicken. it wasgreat!

👉 half tandoori chicken - the tandoor pieces were soft and succulent and had a yummy taste. it won our hearts ! ❤️

|| main course ||

👉 prawn fried rice - the quantity is enough for two people but the quality of rice was a bit disappointing. the dish is loaded with prawn which is good.

👉 chicken hakka noodles - the noodles was loaded with chicken and is enough for two people. it was pretty decent.

👉 kung pao chicken - we found the dish to be a bit too sweet. the quantity wasgreatthough.

👉 chilli chicken - this was pretty decent. recommended !

|| desserts ||

👉 cheesecake - we fell in love with their blueberry cheesecake ! honestly after the amazing starters, we got a bit disappointed in the main course, but the cheesecake made up for it. it was so soft and creamy that it melted right in our mouths ! ❤️ highly recommended !

👉 chocolate mud cake - this is anothergreatdessert option for dark chocolate lovers ! we loved it 😋.

overall, the lazy dog is the best place if you want to enjoy a cafe by the river with a view of the mighty mountains. it is decked up with lights in the evening which makes it look even prettier. the food is also decent !

an absolute delight- the lazy dog can easily brag about being the most scenic resturant in manali with agreatview of the mountains and the river flowing right by it. old manali’s many restaurants perhaps boast of similar locations but what sets lazy dog apart is its extensive menu and sprawling indoor and outdoor space.
fancy sitting on wooden logs by the river, a swing or cozy indoors or bar stools or auditorium style step seating with a view- the lazy dog gives you all options.
we were smitten when we first visited the place late in night for drinks. jus the sound of water was enthralling. we came back the next day for food and were further impressed.
the platter of hummus, pita bread and 3 more side dishes on the plate was wonderful and had authentic flavours. we ordered a couple of more regular dishes like fried rice etc which were ok.

great food coupled with excellent service makes a good recipe for agreatevening spent. this place won’t disappoint..

the food menu has a really bad assortment for vegetarians, but the ambience is reallygreatand bar menu is nice. they have a riverside view with open air seating as well which is really beautiful.

this has a beautiful river view . agreatplace to hang out with sound of river .. it has too less variety of foods on the menu and i did not like the service of the staff. i had to tell them to serve the food, they used to just keep the bowl or plate on the table and looked like least interested .

the bustling sound of the river and whiskey on the table make way for an interesting and peaceful combination .greatvibes and good food too .

great place to hangout out with friends and bae. i visited this place recently with my friends and the every penny spent here really was worth. food was impeccable and so was the cocktail. cool ambiance,although we went for diner, it lookedgreatduring dark as well. 

if i visit this place next time, i will certainly try their breakfast  menu as it looked eye catching and to click photos of surroundings as it is bank of manlaso river and green surrounding which makes this place instagram worthy. 

yes ! from price wise it is certainly little expensive, it will cost around 3 to 4 k for couple if you add alcohol in your order, however, the ambiance and view that you get, it makes it even...  :)

this place is just absolute bliss. river side, live music,greatcocktails and scrumptious food. it's so good that finding a table becomes a bit of a task. tried tried their moussaka, labanese platter and trout in orange sauce. food was amazing so were drinks. a must visit place for all manali visitors.

one should visit this place, when in manali..
strongly recommend for bachelors.. either with friends or girlfriend.

so many things that make this place the best cafe/pub in old manali. their outside seating has a spectacular view of the manalso river.
they have nice pasta, very pleasant music andgreatgrilled trout. one thing that none of the manali cafes seem to know how to make is, fries

riverside cafe located in old manali with river beas flowing next to it with cold breeze. it has both indoor and outdoor seating with live music and a fancy bar. ordered arrabiata pasta, pad thai noodles, chicken lollipop, peri peri fries, chilli paneer tikka and the most delicious dish was the mushroom toasts.greatplace to enjoy the evening.

this was an awesome place over all. the food was great, the ambience wasgreatand the music was great.
we ordered grilled fish and it was one of the best i have had till date.

totally in love with this place. it’s a cozy and comfortable riverside restaurant with an amazing seating arrangements inside and outside. food was very good.greatambience and the place has live music band almost every weekends. if you are in manali, it’s a must have cafe to visit

it's agreatlittle place to go for dinner here. the ambiance is cosy n comfy, the food very tasty, drinks to your liking and on top of everything they have live music almost every weekend!!
tried only the chicken and mutton gravies in my two visits, chicken tikka masala was great. mutton rogan josh was not really something i would call rogan josh but was a pretty good version of what it was. :)
overall agreatplace,greatexperience!

the best part about this cafe is the outdoor sitting it offers. the food is like the cherry on the cake. its freshly cooked, filling and beautifully presented. both the pad thai noodles and the trout weregreat:)
