the worst service ever possible. the worstfoodand the staff was unprofessional and rude. dont visit if you have some self respect.

the ambience was good but that was the only good part.
thefoodquality was not at par with their prices, their cheesy nachos didn't had any amount of cheese, drinks didn't felt like they contained any booze.
really bad experience and i don't know why zomato reviews are so high for this place.

if there was any star below zero i would give that to this place. we went on saturday night and there was a rush,we had a wait time of 20mins which we did hearing about previous reviews of this place. but it turned out into the most insulting nights of our lives. since we could only get a outdoor sitting on a rainy nigh, we even make do with it. the manager was rude, the staff never came to take our order, even after calling them thres times. instead they took orders from those who came after us. basically they will look at your clothes and treat you accordingly. never ever faced such insults even in posh delhi restaurants. cant say about thefoodbecause we never could order. after calling the manager,he kept smiling and talking to a better dressed customer. if i had an option i would sue thus restaurant for bad service. pathetic, im aghast at their classist behavior. either make it exclusive with membership or dont treat customers like that. hoping for their downfall. the next time i ever visit manali i'll make sure they are slapped across their faces for sucb horrible behavior. negative stars. first learn some hospitality then open a restaurant

lazy dog is a must visit cafe in manali. it gives both indoor and outdoor seating arrangement and is a river view cafe, which makes it a perfect spot for hangout ! you can enjoy amazingfoodwith a view of the beas river ❤️.

coming to the food, we tried the following :

|| starters ||

👉 chicken wings in lazy bbq sauce - the chicken pieces were cooked in delicious bbq sauce and the output was absolutely amazing ! recommended ! ❤️

👉 chicken malai tikka - we were satisfied with the flavour of malai chicken. it was great !

👉 half tandoori chicken - the tandoor pieces were soft and succulent and had a yummy taste. it won our hearts ! ❤️

|| main course ||

👉 prawn fried rice - the quantity is enough for two people but the quality of rice was a bit disappointing. the dish is loaded with prawn which is good.

👉 chicken hakka noodles - the noodles was loaded with chicken and is enough for two people. it was pretty decent.

👉 kung pao chicken - we found the dish to be a bit too sweet. the quantity was great though.

👉 chilli chicken - this was pretty decent. recommended !

|| desserts ||

👉 cheesecake - we fell in love with their blueberry cheesecake ! honestly after the amazing starters, we got a bit disappointed in the main course, but the cheesecake made up for it. it was so soft and creamy that it melted right in our mouths ! ❤️ highly recommended !

👉 chocolate mud cake - this is another great dessert option for dark chocolate lovers ! we loved it 😋.

overall, the lazy dog is the best place if you want to enjoy a cafe by the river with a view of the mighty mountains. it is decked up with lights in the evening which makes it look even prettier. thefoodis also decent !

amazing place for sitting near river side and enjoying drinks andfoodwith a loved one. it is located in old manali just near the beggining of the slope. must visit place.

thefoodwas really really bad. ordered a brushetta and the brilliant chef added soya sauce to it and made it unbelievably amazing according to him. who in the world adds soya sauce to a brushetta? the bbq chicken, did not have any bbq sauce in it, in fact they had some wierd homemade chatpata sauce coated. and the wings were tiny as well.

an absolute delight- the lazy dog can easily brag about being the most scenic resturant in manali with a great view of the mountains and the river flowing right by it. old manali’s many restaurants perhaps boast of similar locations but what sets lazy dog apart is its extensive menu and sprawling indoor and outdoor space.
fancy sitting on wooden logs by the river, a swing or cozy indoors or bar stools or auditorium style step seating with a view- the lazy dog gives you all options.
we were smitten when we first visited the place late in night for drinks. jus the sound of water was enthralling. we came back the next day forfoodand were further impressed.
the platter of hummus, pita bread and 3 more side dishes on the plate was wonderful and had authentic flavours. we ordered a couple of more regular dishes like fried rice etc which were ok.

the overall experience was amazing. thefoodvariety is good plus the live music is icing on the cake. they do have a very large seating space at the backside which is a must if you are a party animal. it is pricy but worth it. amazing experience it was.

picking up a dish can be quite very difficult, since there is an extensive multi cuisine menu.
they serve chinese, italian, continental and one or two more. famous for their wines & beer, tandoori tout fish, some main course indian cuisine. we ordered some white sauce spaghetti pasta with added cheese and mushrooms, a plate of jalapeño poppers, and cold coffee.

being a pizza lover, we asked for it but suddenly a voice came “we don’t serve pizzas” and that voice was so depressing for us. anyways, thefoodwe ordered was very nice in taste, it was well presented. jalapeño poppers were best !!
the time we spent was not much, but it was good!!

please note it’s always almost full, so if you want to go to the lazy dag, don’t be lazy in booking it before or try to go soon to have a look at the outside scenery of nature.

there was a time when thefoodhere was amazing but sadly this time neither thefoodnor the services were up to the mark. the sitting inside is very clustered and poor ventilation accompanied with hukkah smoke along with the sun warming up the place makes it intolerable to sit in summers during daytime and the management staff is not adjusting as per customers’ needs.

last week i was with my family at manali we are looking for best cafe then finally find the lazy dog cafe old manali and we ordered chicken pepper steak smoke chicken salad and chicken biryani with carmal cheese cake , allfoodwas perfect done by chef and taste was supper and they serving good hospitality.

thefoodwas to die for. and the ambience is very nice. devashish and pritika are the best host ever.

extremely over rated place which is further spoilt by the manager there who shows no keen interest in accommodating you or doesn’t bother to communicate as well. while one table was getting vacant and the lady asked told us that we could take that as we were pretty much in queue , the manager tells it’s against protocol to talk to any other guest on table. worst hospitality seen!foodtaste is below average and quantities are very less too for the price they’re at. decent view for a sundowner but that’s all you get, this cafe is totally skippable.
