theambiencewas good but that was the only good part.
the food quality was not at par with their prices, their cheesy nachos didn't had any amount of cheese, drinks didn't felt like they contained any booze.
really bad experience and i don't know why zomato reviews are so high for this place.
not recommended at all.

romantic, serene, lusty… i run out of adjectives to describe this place. the most lovely spot on the banks of the river mansaul, with the sun setting over the manali valley and views to live for. can anyone ask for anything better @ a hill station?

1. the tandoori vegetarian platter : the tandoori heaven i would say. ‘licious malai paneer tikka, vegetable seekh kabab was perfectly cooked, the tiranga paneer tikka is to die for. the only complaint i had was with the mushrroms, felt a bit raw and we had expected stuffed mushrooms.

2. palak paneer : amazing dish. always appreciate green gravies and this was cooked to delight.

3. dal tadka fry : again, felt very much like home cooked dal, very easy on the palate and beautiful melody of flavours.

theambienceis just perfect for chilling with new travellers, friends and of course the essence of manali, meeting the warm hearted locals. lucky for us, that evening we jammed to the soothing and melodious voice of harsh kapoor and his live music.

it’s just built up to the perfect evening.

the food was to die for. and theambienceis very nice. devashish and pritika are the best host ever.

you can easily get lazy at lazy dog. we spent around 6 hours in the place & still didn’t feel like leaving the place.
the laid backambienceof the place, food (literally everything was too good) & staff - everything was just superb!

drinks - hot toddy (which has become our favourite drink now)
pita with hummus & chicken - 5/5 (must)
tomato basis spaghetti- 4/5
apple & salami panini- 5/5 (must)

also, we were working from there & really enjoyed doing so!

a must visit cafe in old manali.

a pretty café to visit in manali. during my visit to manali, this was the spot for dinner for me and my friends. since it was a little chilly, we decided to opt for indoor seating. theambienceof this café is very inviting. we tried their delicious dishes like chicken ceasars salad, grilled chicken with veggies, fish and chips and some decadent desserts like chocolate ice-cream and choco lava cake.

the food menu has a really bad assortment for vegetarians, but theambienceis really great and bar menu is nice. they have a riverside view with open air seating as well which is really beautiful.

do visit this place if you are in manali.amazingambienceby the river and the red and white pasta and coffee i had there was amazing.

during 3 day trip of manali after visiting all places i was felling tried so i was looking for cafe or bar where i can seat for long time and enjoy food and drinks with friends. visited this place call the lazy dog. they have good interiors andambiencewas also good. service need to improve rest all things was good.

a very hip spot for all the young crowd in old manali. you’d find people from all around the world chilling around at all times. while the food isn’t great. theambiencemore than makes up for it. tried the hummus and pita with chicken platter. the quantity of food as compared to the prices is quite microscopic. while the pita was quite fresh, the chicken was too less to even have gauged the taste properly. the chocolate cake slice was a good change to the palette!

late post. this visit happened in march when wife and i went there to celebrate our anniversary day. perfection is an understatement and believe me i am not exaggerating. super coolambiencesurrounded by mountains and that weather ❤ food was also just perfect for that climate. amazing work guys. will definitely visit when i go again as i miss this one badly.

the charm of old manali with food at lazy dog - it cannot get better than that. the service is quick and the waiters are polite. theambienceof the place is truly amazing. i had mushroom duplex with mango chutney, which was such a 'good' different combination. i also had their tandoori paneer tikka, which was also very delicious.

we were there for a short period of time during the evening. but even that short period of time was alluring.
the music, the courteous staff, the dimambienceand the soothing voice of the water.
i ordered a stroganoff. it was flavorful and worth it.

overall you should give it a try but the best time would be evening/night.

ordered the aglio olio chicken pasta, triple mushroom spaghetti, pepper chicken steak, american chop suey, pan fried trout in butter garlic sauce along with drinks on the side.

the aglio olio pasta was great, as was the triple mushroom spaghetti. the pepper chicken steak was done well and tasted very nice with the mashed potatoes. the chop suey was good, especially the quantity. the real star of the show, however, was the pan fried trout. the butter garlic sauce was delicious and the fish was cooked extremely well. i asked them to replace the veggies with mashed potatoes and they were more than happy to oblige.

the drinks were good.

overall a very nice experience. well definitely return whenever i'm in manali next.

this was an awesome place over all. the food was great, theambiencewas great and the music was great.
we ordered grilled fish and it was one of the best i have had till date.
