the worst service ever possible. the worst food and the staff was unprofessional and rude. dont visit if you have some self respect.

the location is just perfect! there's the river flowing all along this place with huge scennic trees to add to the view of the valley. the cocktails are perfect ! i usually don't like sushi as much, but they had some chicken sushi, which was kind of hybrid but tasted so so good.

the ambience was good but that was the only good part.
the food quality was not at par with their prices, their cheesy nachos didn't had any amount of cheese, drinks didn't felt like they contained any booze.
really bad experience and i don't know why zomato reviews are so high for this place.

if there was any star below zero i would give that to this place. we went on saturday night and there was a rush,we had a wait time of 20mins which we did hearing about previous reviews of this place. but it turned out into the most insulting nights of our lives. since we could only get a outdoor sitting on a rainy nigh, we even make do with it. the manager was rude, the staff never came to take our order, even after calling them thres times. instead they took orders from those who came after us. basically they will look at your clothes and treat you accordingly. never ever faced such insults even in posh delhi restaurants. cant say about the food because we never could order. after calling the manager,he kept smiling and talking to a better dressed customer. if i had an option i would sue thus restaurant for bad service. pathetic, im aghast at their classist behavior. either make it exclusive with membership or dont treat customers like that. hoping for their downfall. the next time i ever visit manali i'll make sure they are slapped across their faces for sucb horrible behavior. negative stars. first learn some hospitality then open a restaurant

lazy dog is a must visit cafe in manali. it gives both indoor and outdoor seating arrangement and is a river view cafe, which makes it a perfect spot for hangout ! you can enjoy amazing food with a view of the beas river ❤️.

coming to the food, we tried the following :

|| starters ||

👉 chicken wings in lazy bbq sauce - the chicken pieces were cooked in delicious bbq sauce and the output was absolutely amazing ! recommended ! ❤️

👉 chicken malai tikka - we were satisfied with the flavour of malai chicken. it was great !

👉 half tandoori chicken - the tandoor pieces were soft and succulent and had a yummy taste. it won our hearts ! ❤️

|| main course ||

👉 prawn fried rice - the quantity is enough for two people but the quality of rice was a bit disappointing. the dish is loaded with prawn which is good.

👉 chicken hakka noodles - the noodles was loaded with chicken and is enough for two people. it was pretty decent.

👉 kung pao chicken - we found the dish to be a bit too sweet. the quantity was great though.

👉 chilli chicken - this was pretty decent. recommended !

|| desserts ||

👉 cheesecake - we fell in love with their blueberry cheesecake ! honestly after the amazing starters, we got a bit disappointed in the main course, but the cheesecake made up for it. it was so soft and creamy that it melted right in our mouths ! ❤️ highly recommended !

👉 chocolate mud cake - this is another great dessert option for dark chocolate lovers ! we loved it 😋.

overall, the lazy dog is the best place if you want to enjoy a cafe by the river with a view of the mighty mountains. it is decked up with lights in the evening which makes it look even prettier. the food is also decent !

the dude on the front door was very rude, we asked him for a menu and he legit said “koi 2 log jaa ke dekh lo” that was an extremely unprofessional behaviour. would never recommend this cafe to anyone. pathetic people!

totally loved this place. perfect place to spend your evening in manali . they have a nice view of beas river and mountains. we tried plenty of things and they all were good, though the quantity was quite less but quality and taste was up to the mark. service was also quite nice. they do have live music session in the evening that you can enjoy which creates the perfect vibe between the mountains.

it’s overpriced and they mix up the orders and are reluctant. i ordered an overpriced banana shake , which had just the shake and no milk or bananas in it.

the food was really really bad. ordered a brushetta and the brilliant chef added soya sauce to it and made it unbelievably amazing according to him. who in the world adds soya sauce to a brushetta? the bbq chicken, did not have any bbq sauce in it, in fact they had some wierd homemade chatpata sauce coated. and the wings were tiny as well.

an absolute delight- the lazy dog can easily brag about being the most scenic resturant in manali with a great view of the mountains and the river flowing right by it. old manali’s many restaurants perhaps boast of similar locations but what sets lazy dog apart is its extensive menu and sprawling indoor and outdoor space.
fancy sitting on wooden logs by the river, a swing or cozy indoors or bar stools or auditorium style step seating with a view- the lazy dog gives you all options.
we were smitten when we first visited the place late in night for drinks. jus the sound of water was enthralling. we came back the next day for food and were further impressed.
the platter of hummus, pita bread and 3 more side dishes on the plate was wonderful and had authentic flavours. we ordered a couple of more regular dishes like fried rice etc which were ok.

romantic, serene, lusty… i run out of adjectives to describe this place. the most lovely spot on the banks of the river mansaul, with the sun setting over the manali valley and views to live for. can anyone ask for anything better @ a hill station?

1. the tandoori vegetarian platter : the tandoori heaven i would say. ‘licious malai paneer tikka, vegetable seekh kabab was perfectly cooked, the tiranga paneer tikka is to die for. the only complaint i had was with the mushrroms, felt a bit raw and we had expected stuffed mushrooms.

2. palak paneer : amazing dish. always appreciate green gravies and this was cooked to delight.

3. dal tadka fry : again, felt very much like home cooked dal, very easy on the palate and beautiful melody of flavours.

the ambience is just perfect for chilling with new travellers, friends and of course the essence of manali, meeting the warm hearted locals. lucky for us, that evening we jammed to the soothing and melodious voice of harsh kapoor and his live music.

it’s just built up to the perfect evening.

food is taste less.we ordered vietnamese fresh spring roll..no taste,it's just veggies wrapped with rice paper.ambience is good

the overall experience was amazing. the food variety is good plus the live music is icing on the cake. they do have a very large seating space at the backside which is a must if you are a party animal. it is pricy but worth it. amazing experience it was.
