better than ihop, denny's !!!!. like most local owner restaurants they clearly had some issues early on, but the owner seems to have done a good job, and now they are a pretty together operation that has taken a lot of business from ihop and denny's down the street.

the texas hash is unique and the texas benedict is a must try if you like anything like that. they are not a cheap place, but are reliable and have much more local flavor than the chains at similar prices. they do offer menu items not available anywhere else and so if you are seeking different but good food with a texas flair, it's a great choice. gluten free menu items, salads and such are on menu, so if you are concerned about your diet, or what you eat, it's a very good choice,

as for the earlier reviews that gave such low marks, wanabe food critics seem off the mark in view of the crowds going there.

delicious. our experience was great. service was good- we did go during the week for breakfast. our waitress was very attentive but the food was slow coming out of the kitchen. we did have to wait a bit too long for our order. everyone ordered something different and all of us were pleased with what we got. i loved the multi-grain pancakes. the bacon was delicious. we will return.

ok was there this am with parents. no hostess to sit us we were told someone would be there so we waited father is unable stand long periods so we sorted ourselves then when asked for coffee and menus after they sifted someone else the menus were tossed at us and were told my a waiter ' u sorted ur self that's why we didn't get menus r coffee ' if this is how they treat people its very unprofessional and we want be back and everyone i see i will tell of this experience
