i eat here at least once a week and if you don't try the cinnamon roll pancakes you are missing out. the staff is great as well as thefoodselection. well done!

2 hours wait. to getfoodthat was ok service was horrible call in to see the wait they said 10-15 min we waited an hour it was unreal

better than ihop, denny's !!!!. like most local owner restaurants they clearly had some issues early on, but the owner seems to have done a good job, and now they are a pretty together operation that has taken a lot of business from ihop and denny's down the street.

the texas hash is unique and the texas benedict is a must try if you like anything like that. they are not a cheap place, but are reliable and have much more local flavor than the chains at similar prices. they do offer menu items not available anywhere else and so if you are seeking different but goodfoodwith a texas flair, it's a great choice. gluten free menu items, salads and such are on menu, so if you are concerned about your diet, or what you eat, it's a very good choice,

as for the earlier reviews that gave such low marks, wanabefoodcritics seem off the mark in view of the crowds going there.

delicious. our experience was great. service was good- we did go during the week for breakfast. our waitress was very attentive but thefoodwas slow coming out of the kitchen. we did have to wait a bit too long for our order. everyone ordered something different and all of us were pleased with what we got. i loved the multi-grain pancakes. the bacon was delicious. we will return.

this place was the worst service that i ever had at a restaurant. i have been traveling worldwide for 26 years and never saw service like this in any other restaurant. i order eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast, very simple and quick to cook. i waited and waited forfoodfor 15 minutes. the waitress came by and said that they are looking at it, the order. other tables came in way after i ordered and their order was filled before mine. i waved at the owner/manger and he just ignored me. i waved the waitress down again after she gavefoodto another table. she said, "she told the manager". waited another 5 minutes and got up and told them to stick it!!!!! i will never go back there again and people need to boycott this place. very poor service!!! if you want good service go to dixie pig, a great place and excellent service or ihop. any other restaurant has better service then flipping eggs.

service was lacking. the waitress was nice but once she took our order we didn't see her again until thefoodcame out. after that by the time she came to refill the coffee we were already done eating ready to go. the amount for the money is a little cheap. it's not outrageous but it's not proportionate. my meal had 1 medium egg, 1 bacon and 2 pancakes for about $5 not too bad but the one egg was very small. the staff was polite but i've had better. might be back

everytime i come here thefoodis good. the problem is the staff. everytime we have to wait at least 30 minutes, and everytime there are lots of empty tables that noone will clean off. the wait staff is so slow and not very friendly. the only reason we have come back the 2 times we did, is because thefoodis actually good. we would come here a lot more frequently if they had better service.

good service, bad food. went in for a late lunch on a friday afternoon, there was only one other table being served,( not a good sign ) waitress gave great service. but, when thefoodarrived could have gotten betterfoodat a gas station. salad that was ordered did not have everything in it ( asked for avocado salad, they left out the avocado? ) also ordered the monty cristo , was just bad, no flavor, ham and cheese looked like it came from outer space. french fries were over cooked and soggy. cannot recommend. all the hype, and no boom.

phlegm in my coffee creamer bowl!!!! it was aweful i tried to tell myself it was egg white, but when i saw the booger debris in it i knew better. i tried to play it off i got my order and could not eat myfoodi told the waitress to take the bowl of creamer away and she looked inside and just threw it away. the waitress came back to our table and asked if everything was ok and i told her no i am grossed out i can't eat. she took my plate away and brought us the check. charged me full price for a plate offoodshe had to throw away. then when i told her i was not happy with them charging me she said the manager offered me a 10% off card for the next time i come in. i told her the manager should be speaking to me and not hiding in the back. that i will pay for this food, but i am not leaving a tip and you can keep your 10% off card because i will not be back. they where lucky that i was very quiet so that the other guests could not hear what was going on. i ordered the double with a side of hash browns guess the trash can enjoyed it.

i tried the chicken & waffles the other day & loved them. i have family in california, and have eaten the chicken & waffles from roscoe's and have wanted the dish ever since then. i am so glad there is a place around here that serves them! i love the service andfoodfrom the flipping egg. my friend that went to eat with me got something called the texas hash. i don't remember what all it had in it, but she loved it and talked about it all day so it must have been good.

great food, great atmosphere, good service. i recently ate at the flipping egg. i loved the food. between the group i had with me we got the texas hash, german pancakes, and some eggs over easy with hash browns extra cooked, and bacon. we shared all of ourfoodso i got to try a little bit of everything. i loved the german pancakes and the texas hash. the eggs and bacon and hash brown are a something that i could make at some, but i am pretty sure if i made them at home they would not have been that good! i love the extra crisp with the hashbrowns, and i got the house salsa and put on them and it made them even better! the service was pretty slow, but when she was at the table she was very nice and friendly. i think she was new because she seemed nervous.

went for breakfast today. they were busy, and on a wait. apparently short staffed. my wife's texas hash plate was supposed to have onions tomatoes and jalapenos cooked with the hashbrowns there was a jalapeno stem and a few raw onions with her raw hashbrowns. so, turns out the owner was our waiter. she didn't ask to replace the plate or attempt to make things right, forgetting about making us happy. in my opinion she should have been expeditingfoodor being an owner/ manager. never going back. ever

nice breakfast. i went there this week for breakfast after having lab work done. i was very pleased. the service was good, the restaurant was very clean, and thefoodwas great. i will definitely eat there again and recommend it for breakfast.

fantastic german apple pancake. the german apple pancake is baked, and is large-enough to give all at your table a bite, they are delicious! thefoodis fresh, the menu has a little of everything and is excellently priced. the wait staff - well there is no other restaurant that compares with this top notch staff, who makes sure you don't run out of coffee or tea, you'll feel they want you to come back. i recommend them highly!
