best in town, hands down. we ate at uptown market this morning and, being disappointed, decided to try the donut shoppe. i've lived in jax almost my whole life and have deprived myself - these are the best donuts i've ever had, and they were like 6 hours old by the time we got them! my wife took one bite of the strawberrycakedonut, shouted an expletive, and was (seriously) involuntarily drooling.

it's cash only, which was a pain but the donuts instantly made up for that. definitely will make a trip back to this place!

omg... i've had donuts in all the major us cities and none come close to these. arrive early as the donuts go fast! the glazed are sweet, soft, mouth watering heavenly delights. my favorite is the chocolate frosted glazed donut..... help me somebody!!! i live way too close and may have to join a 12 step donut program!! the apple fritters are wonderful and thecakedonuts, very moist. when you first walk in it may seem the choices are limited compared to dd but then you realize who needs more when these satisfy every possible donut desire? oh and just for the record....most of the dd no longer make their own donuts!. they're brought in from an outside bakery every day! i don't cate where you live..... this place is worth the drive. since they moved down the street, they've added coffee.... and it's really good! and yes they only take cash..... however they now have an atm right in the bakery! the donut shoppe is to die for!

best donuts ever. i have been coming to the shop for years, specially on sundays i love the fact the donuts are made fresh daily. more now that they moved to a new location, bigger place, plenty of parking. the service is great i have known julie she is being there for many years. they have now added 2 new kinds of donuts: pumkincakeand apple filled cinnamon. if you decided to stop by it is highly recommended enjoy.

a new level of donut pleasure.. i admittedly had my skepticism about this place. i mean i was sure it was good , but how good can a donut really get? i had no idea before today. the texture is really exquisite. the glazed donuts and apple fritters are at once crispy , airy , and creamy you should definitely try at least those two things if you go. thecakedonuts are amazingly moist. all the flavors all good really.. fresh kripsy kreme or dunkin donuts absolutely pale in comparison.

the lady at the counter , susan , was very pleasant and friendly.

it's a bit of a drive from where i live , but well worth it. i don't care what part of town you live in , you owe it to yourself to try this place at least once.

best donuts ever. i have enjoyed donut shoppe for over 20 years. they are small and connected to a gate station so parking stinks...but they are worth it. the glazed and devils food are our favorites. the devils food is a chocolatecakedonut with a glaze on it...very good! everyone who tries them are hooked. even my new jersey friend says she hasn't had a donut this good since leaving the north, lol. they use real jelly in their jelly filled.

insanely good donuts. the donut shoppe has the best donuts on the planet. if you think krispy kreme is good, try the glazed donuts here. fresh out of the oven, they melt in your mouth. soft, fresh, with the right amount of glaze. who cares about sugar, calories and fat grams? biting into one of these glazed babies is worth it. thecakedonuts are also delicious - moist and flavorful. love the blueberry, coconut and plain cake. they open at 5:30 am and close at 1pm or earlier if the donuts sell out.

best donuts in the world, no really i mean it. i once went on a business trip to texas and had donuts from a chain called shipleys. it motivated me to find something in jax better than kk or dunkin. boy did i ever. donut shoppe is every bit as good as shipleys and then some. simply the best donuts i have ever had. thecakedonuts are moist and flavorful, the fillings are awesome and the uglys are the best thing on the planet! get there early and enjoy!
