wonderful salads!. i am very picky when it comes to salads and after reading the reviews here, i decided to give it a shot since i was in town visiting a friend.
i picked the thai shrimpsaladwith the sesame peanut vinaigrette with a side of fruit. it was magnificent! the combination of flavors was wonderful. i expected the vinaigrette to have a little sour kick to it but i didn't sense any while eating away! this didn't take away from thesaladat all. there were small cubes of mango in thesaladthat had ripened and gotten sweet and juicy which wasn't overpowering. the shrimp wasn't all that memorable for me. i expected the curry to have a strong flavor but it was kind of hidden in the vinaigrette. the cucumber was a nice, fresh touch in the salad. i had to take my time savoring thesaladand before i knew it, it was all gone! their side of fruit was delicious (cubed pineapple & watermelon).
it was such a hit with me i had the asian chickensaladthe next day with the same vinaigrette. wonderful salad...the chicken was tender and cooked well. i thoroughly enjoyed every piece.
all in all, i would recommend at least the salads at this cafe. i wish i had time to try the panini's while i was there! the only thing i have to pick at is the pricing may be a little too much for some people, even though the quality is wonderful and fresh. also, i wish they would've tossed mysaladbefore they gave it to me. it was tough to distribute the vinaigrette evenly throughout thesaladwithout it getting messy!
