the cutting edge

i've had the cutting edge café on my "to visit" list for quite a while. after i read the review from joe d. i knew this would be a good place forlunchas i found myself in the greenbrier area for lunch. i stopped in and really liked this little spot. the décor is very charming and laid back. the service makes the place even better. super big smiles and lots of welcoming voices. i was greeted and had my order taken only moments after stepping in. as you all know i am freak for club sandwiches, so i had to try the avocado club panini that joe d. ordered. i got a side of regular fries and a cold diet coke. the food arrived quickly. it was amazing. the club was juicy fresh and delicious. the avocado was creamy and delicious. the panini was soft with just the right amount of crunch form the grill lines. the fries were piping hot and even more delicious with ketchup! my drink was cold and tasty. this is a go to place forlunchdiners. i really like this little "joint", give them a shot, heck give them 5 or 6 shots. you will be happy you did. i am going back soon!

excellentlunch& service. i had a really cool experience here. i stopped in forlunchrecently and they had a sign that they were closing early to attend a funeral. it was about 15 minutes before the posted time and the lady at the counter offered to make a carry out order for me which was just fine as they didn't even have to do that.

i quickly glanced at their eclectic menu ordered an avocado club panini with sweet potato fries and brought it back to work. it came nicely bundled up in a paperlunchtype bag and when i opened it up there was a nicely wrapped sandwich and the bottom of the bag was filled with hot sweet potato fries.

i need to get back over there soon and check out some of their other items. it's not to hard to find, cutting edge cafe can be found in the shops located to the side of sam's club closer to volvo parkway.

has become one of my regularlunchspots. if only they would make those cherry currant mini pies more often!

great sandwiches!. my teenage daughters and i have eaten here twice, and we love it. the service is above reproach and the owner is quite engaging. even though thelunchcrowd is huge, everything flows quickly.

yummylunchplace. visited for the first time on sat. for lunch. had the one of the best sandwiches i have ever had in this area. unique healthy choices. come out and support this husband and wife owned business!!!

so fresh. i absolutely love this place. all of the produce/ingredients are always so fresh and colorful. i have never ver been disappointed in the selection. the couscous is amazing as well :) i can't wait to try it out for dinner, i have always eatenlunchthere and they said they would be serving dinner after the first of the year. they also support local farmers!

love it. love this place! they have the bestlunchin town & its never a disappointment. the panini's are amazing, soups are delicious, and great veg options. not to mention, the music selection is always on point. :)

worlds greatest carrot cake!!. i took one oftheir carrot cakes to my work potluck today and it was the hit of the day! i got so many compliments not only on the taste but how beautiful it was with all of the nuts and cranberries!!!!! next year this will be my gift to all of my friends. and the best part is that when i deliver it they will probably ask me to stay and have a piece...lol they said they plan to start serving dinner after the first of the year...

love this place!. i work in norfolk and will often spend my entirelunchhour running there to grab a quick sandwich. the turkey avacado is my favorite but i recently tried the ultimate grilled cheese and it was just as good. as far as salads go the strawberry goat cheese salad is heaven. i hope someday the expand and open a place closer to work!

fresh, well crafted food. thought went in to their entrees--they certainly weren't just thrown together. add the freshness of the produce they use and this is a no-brainedlunchstop.

delicious food, fast service, friendly staff. i love this place! i've visited twice forlunchand both times my food has been well cooked, fresh, and exactly how i wanted it. i'd recommend anybody looking for vegan food in chesapeake to give them a try. the staff was friendly as well and the prices were reasonable. i wish the hours were a little longer but otherwise no complaints here! (and their sweet potato fries are the bomb!)
